This is the quality content we want to see from Jon. ;-) I fondly remember the "This is going to take all my skill and cunning as a hunter"-moment from Fallout 4 Frost.
I'm not ruling out an actual sharknado for apocalypse bingo at this point. Not 1000 sharks but at least 4 getting picked up and thrown at someone's face
I remember wanting that so badly when I read about it in Gamesmaster at 11 years old. Never got it in the end, and it was absolutely terrible in retrospect
I would play every version of this... velociraptor in past or present, tiger, squirrel, whatever. Please make new genre of games of being animals instead of shooter games
seriously, i just started this video, and I know this is gonna be perfect..... I bet 20 now that we will need more of this. damnit Jon, stop playing games, I cannot buy more, damnit damnit damnit, don't stop, damnit. also, now someone owes me 20 bucks. if this game lets you become a megaladon in any way shape or form, worth it. totally worth it.
The blue in that nuclear casing is supposed to be cherenkov radiation. Basically a subatomic particle is going at the speed of light in a vacuum but is exceeding the speed of light in the medium resulting in a "luminal boom" (light equivalent of a sonic boom), the blue shift give it the characteristic sapphire hue.
Jaws unleashed was one of my childhood favorite games, this is the closest remaster that game is ever gonna see. AND ITS AN RPG WITH FALLOUT HUMOUR?!?!?! Quarantines gonna be great with this, BL2, and GTA. JON PLZ MAKE A SERIES Cheers :)
I feel conflicted about this. On the one hand, it's made by people who love sharks and features humans who are evil for hunting sharks. On the other hand, it still perpetuates the idea of sharks that hunt humans.
Is a shark evil by it's nature? To them they aren't infesting our beaches, we're infesting their beaches. Just like the shark, it's just in Jon's nature.
Have barely started the video but I'm really looking forward to this one. Have had this on my Steam wishlist for quite some time since (as best I can tell) it's as close as I can get to replaying my childhood favourite: Jaws Unleashed on the PS2.
I'd been wondering whatever happened to the old "Feed Us" series of flash games. I'm glad to see it's now 3D, shark-based instead of piranha based and much, MUCH more advanced. :D Wish my laptop could run this, it seems SUPER FUN!
Loving how everyone is saying it's like this game is a remaster of Jaws Unleashed or an Echo The Dolphin 2, yet not seen a single comment so far has mentioned games like Depth, Hungry Shark Evolution/Hungry Shark World, Ultimate Shark Simulator, etc as if the first two were the only game where you got to play as the shark.
Sometimes "stomach" is used colloquially to be synonymous with "belly," which is the external physical region that shows the most obvious signs of a baby. I doubt he literally thinks babies are where food digests.
If I had to take a guess at the story: You get bigger and become more of a threat. Pete chases after you at some point, but you get away. Pete and his son get attacked by the Meg at some point with the son about to be eaten and you save him by attacking the Meg. Final battle will be you and Pete versus the Meg. Oh and some point Pete's son might try and befriend you/treat you as more than a maneater, because he's different than his father. Again, just a guess, based on something I saw once.
"Thank Shark-Jon that man with a Guitar on the small boat in the ocean was bothering me" says the woman on the small boat glad the boat did not flip over.
John, you missed that you can hold turtles in your mouth and then bat them at an enemy with tail whip. Also, the narrator is the voice actor for Jerry in Rick and Morty.
My theory is that the player character Bull Shark and Kyle, Son of Pete, discover a kinship with each other and develop a better understanding of each other's species to stop the cycle of violence. I also suspect the Mega is secretly the player character shark's father, and the entire storyline is generational like that.
@@BewareofTarps Actually it's true. It has to keep water flowing through it's gills constantly by swimming or it suffocates. Ever see footage of a shark not moving? Also, sharks I think either don't sleep, or sleep while moving.
John Manzuki ACTUALLY only SOME sharks have to keep swimming because they can’t pump the water through their gills biologically- every shark seems to have the capacity to have to do this if they lose this ability but not all sharks have to swim 24/7
@@johnmanzuki8979 It's not all 'breeds' of sharks that do that. Some of them can be stationary and others use water currents to do this for them when they need to stay still.
Jon is pretty quick and easy to abandon humanity and punish innocent people for things they probably had no hand in. If jon is ever on trial this video needs to be hidden
Ahh yes. The Bayou Muskie. Fact about the Muskie: they will eat fish anywhere near their size. And quite a few times will die because they tried swallowing a fish too big for them.
I expected another "UA-camr"-bait kinda deal, but this game actually seems pretty good. Edit: And then I noticed the "Epic" link... Welp, that sure killed my interest in the game.
Fun Fact, sharks do not think people are seals, otherwise they would hunt us like we where seals and there would be far more fatalities. They mostly are curiuse, unfortinutly, that means a nibble on the poor human
Fun shark fact: You kill twice as many people in the first mission than all sharks do in two years IRL.
Another fun fact..Sharks must always be moving forward to breath.
@@LazyGamer415 Not all of them.
Sharks kill about 15 people in the USA each year.
@@damascusraven Everything I'm finding says 15 is about right for number of attacks, but usually only 1 actual death per year.
@@damascusraven And how many people do other people in the USA kill each year? We should probably be more scared of each other than of sharks...
“I’m going to be a stealth shark.”
*jumps out in front of everyone*
Fantastic. ❤️
see no problem with that :D
No live witnesses qualifies as stealth.
This is the quality content we want to see from Jon. ;-)
I fondly remember the "This is going to take all my skill and cunning as a hunter"-moment from Fallout 4 Frost.
Classic Jon
Friendly reminder, Jon: Do NOT consume if seal is broken.
Well that's my fresh bag of Cadburys Animals in the bin then.
Wait, Seal disbanded? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
"We're going to learn so many fun facts about sharks!" *Cuts narrator out in edit.*
All those "just my cup of teas" - you can tell Jon wants to play this game some more!
And I will not complain if he does
But he never actually does and i hate it and i have no idea why he does that.
It's a joke, Jon. "Drain the swamp"
Given with how many “Something terrible is in the Sea” games we’ve had recently, I’m beginning to suspect for June.
I'm not ruling out an actual sharknado for apocalypse bingo at this point. Not 1000 sharks but at least 4 getting picked up and thrown at someone's face
ia ia cthulhu fhtagn
this is basically jaws unleashed remastered
'bout time
Dude, I knew this video felt vehemently familiar. I'd totally forgotten about that game
I long for this to become a major genre the way doom clones did
I remember wanting that so badly when I read about it in Gamesmaster at 11 years old. Never got it in the end, and it was absolutely terrible in retrospect
same plot too
Oh ho here she comes. What out boys she'll chew you up. Woah oh here she comes. She's a man eater.
Bram Weenink my thoughts exactly.
*Watch out boys

Have a look for wild animals sports day on PC that's similar to what you're saying
May I interest you in:
The Isle
Saurian
Primal Carnage Extinction
These sorts of games have existed for over a decade in flash games, it’s not a new concept
There was a great Jurassic Park game for playstation 1 where you play as various dinosaurs that was quite fun.
Hey shooter games are cool.
This is a spiritual successor of Jaws Unleashed. This is so great, and please play more

Basically a subatomic particle is going at the speed of light in a vacuum but is exceeding the speed of light in the medium resulting in a "luminal boom" (light equivalent of a sonic boom), the blue shift give it the characteristic sapphire hue.
So the particle is travelling faster than light would travel within that medium, and not breaking the speed of light?

Hitman: Shark Edition
I think it has a Grand Theft Aqua vibe to it; minus the ability to drive the boat after devouring its previous occupants.
Sharkman: Hit Edition
Please play more of this, it is soooooooo good
Lol. Jon called the grouper a source of amino acid, which is what protein is made of lol. I love your commentary.
I love that Jon gives the same shark defenses I do. Silly human, stop looking like a seal!
This is completely ludicrous.....

I did my dissertation on sharkploitation films so I get you. I love sharks and I love shark films and I love this shark game.
Love this! Would totally watch more
Jon once again proving he's the most unpredictable (and funniest) youtube gamer
the environments are so detailed and gorgeous, I did not expect that!
I never expected to have a Cyril figgis murderous shark documentary, and I could have never asked for better.
“I can’t bite this beach ball” completely forgets that beach balls are supposed to float
Reminds me of Carmaggedon from years ago where you score for every human you run over with your car.
That was a fun game.
Ive been rewatching your old fallout 4 survival playthrough, thank you dearly for the great content
I'd love to see more of this! Great fun!
For some reason, I want a whole playthrough of this lol
More of this please.
First bit seemed like a really simple game. Impressed when the game and story progressed into the revenge genre. :)
I like the irony of the alligator pursuing a shark like Captain Ahab!

I get it would be really annoying, but iirc sharks die if they stop swimming, and it feels like that would make for some interesting mechanics.
