Which Droid from the Droid depot in Galaxy’s Edge is faster?

- We’ve built many Star Wars droids at Disney’s Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Batuu, in Walt Disney World, but we realized that we have a problem and asked ourselves what are we going to do with all of them. In this video we’re going to have a droid race to see which model is the fastest. Is it the R, C, or BB series droid the fastest droid in the Galaxy. We are also giving a droid away that’s we’ll build for you.

I think the best thing is to introduce them in your life, give them a story and take them in trips with you. Walk away with them and let them play with kids! Hope I'll win! 😁
I think you can do costume party! Dress them as fictional characters and invite kids to play with them! Do different activities and a race!
We want to thank everyone for there amazing ideas, there were so many good ones. But, we could only pick one, and to keep with the main theme of our channel we chose Carlos Quiles. We love giving things to people to help lighten there day, so we loved the idea of taking the droids to a children’s hospital. Congratulations Carlos!
I would coordinate with a children hospital and bring some of the droids. Show all the cool features maybe create a story for each droid and have them get familiar and play with them. At the end have them do a race with the droid of their choice and donate the droid to the winner. Also you could sponsor a family with limited resources and donate a droid for a raffle or an auction to generate funds to cover medical bills, food, school supplies or a very special Christmas.

I think a droid obstacle course or task challenge would be interesting, maybe you could hold your own ADC* (American Droid Challenge)
You should do a costume battle testing out the different Galaxy Edge or even custom accessories for the droids. It would also make a great video for your channel.
Attach a GoPro to one of the droids and run it through Batuu and you could name the video from a “Droid’s Point of View”. I think that would make an interesting and fun video montage.
I know this post is super late, but I love taking trips with my droid. I take lots of pictures everywhere I go with it. I’m a teacher so I even take it to the classroom. I take him during special events, school spirit days, etc. Sadly, I only own an R2 series but would love a C unit. Chopper is my fave droid in the Star Wars universe.
You need to do droid jousting. Give them each a lance and see which one knocks the others the farthest (my money is on an R unit as winner)
I know the contest is over but wanted to share what we do. All 4 of us have a droid in the same room and we set the Rumba off. The goal is to not let it get you, kind of like tag.

Planning to take my droid in custom cat carriers as their escape pod. It will keep him safe and hopefully interact with other droids in the park. I would put LED lighting for nights and also carry my lightsaber hilt to cosplay whenever I visit the park.

For a real test you should do a Droid Olympics. Think of a set of events, have medal ceremonies, etc.
My idea fix an mp3 player or mini speaker's and mini projector in the head with a roku for biug screen movie nights

Using the app and making the droids dance battle each other or make them dance in a synchronized way. Could be a good youtube video.

The obvious best thing to do with your droids is destroy meat bags. But honestly, just having a pal around to adventure by your side is the gift of a droid. Look at faithful old r2 and 3po. Especially r2 since his memory is intact. He was faithful and helpful to his masters journeys, and to an extent even involved in the salvation of anakin!
It would be for my daughter's. My oldest has autism. I would her paint it.
How about having a cook out challenge with your droids would be a fun and challenging thing to do..it will make a great video for your channel..
I will watch Star Wars with mine sometimes, and their occasional beeps at certain times can be funny. I have a R2 and one I made. Not sure if they do really communicate, but when I have both on they beep back and forth till I turn them off.
Droid Theater! Watch a Star Wars movie or show. Put their silhouettes in front of the bottom of the screen like in that old movie commenting show and have them "talk" at various points as if they are commenting on the screen action. Bonus points for including translated subtitles in your video because their beeps are random.
Maybe make a Star Wars themed Rube Goldberg machine and include them.
Well I think the best thing you can do with a driod is teach it to bring you drinks from the fridge. Our daughter loves hers it's a r5 driod named bad driod 25
How about a droid fashion show. Set up a runway, dress them in various costumes and have them strut their stuff.
I think you guys should do a skit about talking with the driods. Like in the movies and playing with them.
A great idea would be to get a remote activated air soft gun. And have a scene like the terminator. Where the droid chases and hunts you in a building. Last one surviving wins!
So a fun thing we plan to do with our droid is take it trick or treating this year. On our first trip to Bautu a couple of months ago my youngest built a power and control saber along with a c unit droid. We wants to be Darth Vader just to take his saber and droid with him trick or treating!
If you going to build one to give away make it a imperial Droid and are are or are are r2 unit or bb8 unit everyone always goes for the hero ones so go to the opposite for something different.
I think it would be fun to watch them play a Star Wars Themed card game like Sabacc!
I think you should have a light weight mop dust broom attached to the droid, so when you drive it it cleans too.
Clear the best thing to do with them is to race them but it also be cool if there is a way if you know of somebody that could modifier the word of motors in them or faster it's a real have some real competition.
Get DJ Rex and have him host a Droid Dance Party/Dance Off
It would be funny to use a droid to jump scare on halloween

Recreate scenes from movies with them. Off the top of my head:”This is SPARTA!” Boom-box scene from “Say anything” (speeder in the background), “King of the world” from Titanic…and the list goes on and on…
A droid wedding! Dress them in fancy droid clothes. March down the aisle. Then a dance party to all the Star Wars disco music you can find!!
Play with them!! My kids and I will race them through the kitchen, chase the animals, and experiment with the chips. We have some extra panel pieces as well as the Ferry Droid set and will Babu Frik a new creation or two. So, a new R-unit would certainly be very welcome! Fun race and thanks for the opportunity!
Dressing up as your inner Jedi or Sith for halloween, and having your droid follow around the neighborhood sporting their own Jedi/Sith garb to match. Nothing beats the look on everyone's face as a droid rolls up to the door with it's own little trick or treat bag.
I think you should paint them or add weathering like chipped or scratched paint, rust, dirt and grease to make them look more in-universe. Add some rebel or empire decals and of course get a custom personality chip.
I think you should make a theme out of them depending on how much detail you wanna do with them. If you were going to do detailed work you should paint iconic scenes from all nine films and the TV show for example the BB eight unit on one side you could have a mosaic of Anakin versus Obi-Wan from episode three and on the other you could have Asoka versus Vader on the other side Master versus apprentice
Besides giving the droids a new paint job and backstory to enhance their personalities, I'd start a droid channel full of videos and droid news reports. Each droid would have their own show on the channel and they would all come together to do the news. I'd feature them out and about in their daily lives as well as on field trips. I could see me taking a droid to the hospital I work at to make my patients smile. They'd have a good little workshop at home, and plenty of room to chase the cats around.
I think a great thing to do with droids is make videos, and do dress ups, and some everyday life videos with only droids. Could also do different video stories with them as superheroes and villians, and roleplaying sessions, or movie night, date night, etc..It would be difficult to do without facial expressions, but done creatively I believe the videos could be entertaining.
Sadly sit on the shelf collecting dust. I can’t wait to see all the fun things you do 😀
A droid ballet! It would be a huge hit with kiddos!
I use the Droid Depot app to control my droid (R2-M8) when my grandsons come to visit. They will ask if they can see the droid and want him to do a little dance. They are 5 and 3. They really enjoy it and it warms my heart that they are so interested!
I love my droid and would add another interact with each other. I never got the chance to make the one I originally intended to make due to supply chain issues at Galaxy's Edge Hollywood Studios.
