We Build a Droid & Lightsabers! | Galaxy's Edge

- We had the opportunity to build a droid at the Droid Depot and Lightsabers at the famous Savi's Workshop at Galaxy's Edge on Batuu! (Aka Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World)! We absolutely loved it and wanted to share this experience with you! Both immersive activities really make you feel like you are living in the world or galaxy of Star Wars! You pick your parts for your Astro-mech or BB Unit and you get to building! Almost like a factory assembly line. Once all together your droid is activated and it comes to life! We love our little M-11Y not Curtis! The lightsaber building spoke for itself, the experience was top of the line for any experience we had ever been a part of, ever since seeing it for the first time it has been a mission of ours to do it and we hope this video can encourage you to book this experience as well. Totally worth the price tag! So sit back relax and let us take you on an adventure in a galaxy not so far far away, til the spire! Bring on the next adventure!

Probably the best immersive experience we’ve done! We want to do it again! As for me I think I will be doing the Peace and Justice, the designs looked cool for it! -B

ITS NOT CURTIS! 😂 We actually went with M-11Y. Back in September we lost our beloved dog Molly, and so we decided to name the droid after her
They have the black first order chips back!
Yes they do! I think the next time we make a droid it’ll be with that personality chip!
How long did it take from your start to finish
The droid and lightsaber took roughly 30 minutes each
Did you get the little arms for the Droid head? The head you got is a c series head and they are suppose to come with little arms for the head. I got the little arms when I did my a few months ago
No I didn’t, I didn’t know arms came with it, but that could be because I was building an R Unit
You had a c series head on a r unit body so they were supposed to give it to you. I also did a c series head on a r unit and they gave me the little arms for the head

No LEDs in the R2 head? shame. TY for the video
There are LEDs on the head, it lights up when it speaks, I hadn’t noticed it until later on when it was a little darker and saw them light up! It was a nice surprise! -B

@@DEmma1972 thank you, I was really considering a different design ahead of time and was gonna keep colors neutral but when I saw that head it changed everything!
