All of the Coyotes players should have won the Masterton after everything they've been through this year.
That's next year, especially if they make the playoffs.
On a side note, Austria just beat the Finns at the Worlds. People here in Austria are going completely nuts right now. Simply sensational.

Absolutely deserved win, Austria's been pretty good in this tournament. I'll jinx you with the dark horse of the tournament label, just in case the Finns have to face you again.
On the flip side, we desperately need a goal scorer to play with Granny. Fantastic passes every game in the O-zone and Innala & Co still try to shoot through the pads and the logo on the opposing goalie.
@@FischerFan also they rallied from 0:2. After they rallied against Canada (!) from 1:6 (!!!!) to score 5 goals in the third and get the point. Like I said, every is going crazy here.

Every single Minnesota-Toronto game in the series so far has been a shut out, including last night where they went to 2OT tied 0-0. Very funny, can't wait to see what happens next. Thanks for the video! Great as always!

I hate that PWHL Minnesota plays at Xcel. They need to play at a smaller arena than 18k. It's like when MLS teams play at NFL stadiums. I know the facilities are top notch but an empty arena makes for a bad vibe and looks bad on tv. They should play at Ridder Arena or the new St. Thomas Arena opening in 2025 that has 5k seats. Maybe their NCAA ice dimensions won't work?
Minnesota has gotten 13k people to a game, so you can't say there isn't interest. The Marlies Arena holds 7k people which is perfect. There just aren't a lot of intermediate rinks in the Twin Cities, it's either the two 18k arenas, Mariucci with 10k, or a bunch of "small" high school arenas between 300-1500 seats.
10k I think seems to be the sweet spot that most of the teams have been pulling regularly.
I wonder if that was part of the UND women's problem in that they couldn't fill the Ralph (except against the Gophers) and didn't really have another option.
THe Masterton DESERVES to be in the main NHL Awards show, perseverance to do hockey and its not happening on the awards show??? GTFU

Would it be funny that Team Toronto picked the team that is dealing with a major slump post-World Championship Tournament and are having trouble closing out & put themselves in a sticky situation.
Stoked for the return of BSD, he looked like the best Goalie during the preseason.
It wilbe better for promotion of the PWHL when the teams get names and personalities for fans to invest in. Right now the bland default city names are a little hard to really root for. "Utah nameless" be warned. (A long time Coyotes fan)
Other than that the hockey has largely been very enjoyable.
At least with Utah they're doing a fan vote. So there will be hype and interest from people that get to vote on name and possibly have the team named after one of their choices.
