- A public safety worker and father of three who received a heart and kidney transplant. A 64 year-old man who needed a liver. A Georgia husband who now has a new kidney. As many as 20 people who received bone and tissue grafts.
Those are the lives saved or transformed because of Michael O'Mary's gift. Michael knew the importance of organ donation, and he had been a registered organ donor for many years. Following his untimely death in April 2022, his family followed through on his wishes, and the Phoebe Family paid our respects with an Honor Walk.

Anyone who donates through the gift of life and loves animals like Michael did, has humbled and earned my respect and appreciation. Rest in peace Big Man and wait, if you can, at the Rainbow Bridge to help the pups meet their long awaited masters as they pass through.

I can’t get my head around organ donations even to the point of signing a do not donate document. There is something sinister about it.
Then stop watching and commenting on honor walk videos and disrespecting families of loved ones who made that choice. It's not about you.
There is nothing sinister about it at all. It's sad you have such foolish ideas
If you or a loved one ever needs an organ will you turn it down because it's " sinister"? thank god we have people.and families who donate organs even in their darkest saddest times.
