A few months ago I had a stroke. I knew I was dying. The peace of God that passes all understanding was in me. It was more REAL than REAL. Things of this world passed away and nothing was left but love. I knew without a doubt that I was in God's hands. It was beautiful beyond words. l heard some of my children telling me they love me through their tears. In prayer, I asked my Lord if I could live longer for my children. Everything turned around at that moment. God is not done with me yet. I am fully recovered and it is all because of Him! To God by the glory forever and ever! This song ......I understand. I will never be afraid to die again. Someday all who believe in Jesus will fly again! Praise Him!

What a powerful and Beautiful song and what a great testimony and what a great God we serve my mom and sister both died of cancer at Young ages my mama was 64 and my sister was 49 but I know I will see them in heaven again one day but most of all I want to see Jesus the one who died for me so that we all may come to Jesus when we mess up and we can ask him to forgive us the grace of Jesus is so wonderful and I cannot make it in this world without Jesus he is my rock and my salvation and when my mama died I cried a little bit but it was so peaceful I felt the holy spirit of God in the living room where she passed away and I was once told that is the closest you will get to God on this Earth is when he comes down to get one of his Saints and my sister was in and out of consciousness before she died and when she was out of consciousness my sister who was there with her sad that she had a smile on her face and when my sister said why are you smiling she said Mama is here to take me to heaven my sister told her to go and she did not live long after that and when you are a child of Jesus death is a beautiful thing scripture says precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of one of his Saints❤❤
I lost my mother this year .. She loved Jesus deeply, today she is flying again in the presence of God ... I miss you mother.
My niece is 51 years old and dying with cancer taking her fast. I know that she is saved and so thankful that I will see her in heaven. PTL. Thank you for this song!
I lost a woman who looked at me with Jesus love and believed that I have a ministry. Believed that I was born to sing to Christ.
The last day I saw her she sang ,"I finished my race."
She just knew.

My darling sister was released from her pain and suffering on 9 June 2015. There will be no more nights.. no more pain... which he also sings si beautifully. Truly it's like medicine for an aching heart. Praise God. Was almost like it was yesterday!! But.. I like David believe that we too will fly again. Hallelujah
Sir, I just discovered you & your channel yesterday. I’m 40, grew up in the church, left the church for years & came back home to Christ a little over 3 years ago. Your talents are beyond anything I ever heard in my life. When I left the church, I left music behind me & finding your channel has reignited my love for music. Wow man!!!!! My ex daughter-in-law passed away after medically induced comatose for 10 days from Covid complications at aged of 43 . I truly believe God sent her angels to escort to her Heavenly Father. May God of mercy and compassion will comfort her three children.

My friend Beverly, who lead me to an accurate knowledge of GOD and JESUS CHRIST, fell asleep July 3rd. 2021 will fly with all the Saints who have gone before. What a glorious day when CHRIST returns for GODS children. Be ready because HE is coming again. The dead will rise first and those who remain will meet HIM in the air. Glory to ABBA FATHER, THE ALMIGHTY GOD. I call him DADDY or POPPY. HE doesn't care as long as l call. HE will always answer. What a beautiful tribute to his friend. I can’t stop listening to this song. I lost my husband this past September, after 51 1/2 years of marriage. As I watched him dying, I imagined him with our God, and it just sent such a peaceful feeling in my heart! He’s now flying, with his wings unfolded!! Thank you David, for this beautiful song!!

I wonder if you know David how deeply you bless so many of us with your writing and singing. I lost my youngest brother recently to early onset Alzheimer’s. His wings were broken too. Jordan loved birds, so your lyrics of wings and flying caught my attention first and made me smile. But then the real joy came when you gave me such a vivid picture of Jordan in heaven, in the arms of God, angels applauding. I can picture us face to face again and hugging. Jordan is a great hugger!

This really blessed me, especially after the recent loss of my mom, who at 95 went to be with the Lord. Even at her age it it's hard to realize she is gone, but knowing she went straight into the hands of our loving Savior & Father, it's comforting to us who are left behind.

This song is my Grandpa, I was so happy when you sang it at the Barn Bash a few years ago, I cried the entire time. Thank you for bringing back the memories of my Grandpa and going to church with him. I see him getting up from the pew and walking up on the stage to do the prayer, he always took that request very seriously, such wonderful memories.

@@lauriandawkins7264 the day before my Grandpa died I went to see him, he was so ready to go home, he woke up and saw me there, he grabbed my hands and pulled me to his face, I could see the turmoil in his eyes, so happy to see me but so disappointed that he wasn't waking up in Glory yet. This song truly is everything about my Grandpa, in every word. His wings are healed and he soars with the angels in Heaven.

ago. I had it sung at his funeral. He was a fighter-pilot in the Korean Conflict, 40’s To 50’s. He loved as did I!

I have listened to this song so many times. In September I had a three week fight with Covid. In the middle of the fight my mother-in-law passed away and my uncle passed away with Covid. This song is so comforting. I’m still gaining my strength back. 💜✝️

I wanted to tell anyone reading this something really important.
One day we are all going to stand before God. If you have ever lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain (omg) which is called blasphemy , hated someone (which God consideres murder) or done other things that are against His law ( the Ten Commandments), He sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, murderer. He will judge us, and because we have all broken His law, we ALL deserve hell.
But because He loves us, He became a human about two thousand years ago, lived without sinning, and died a terrible death He didn’t deserve because of us. Three days later He rose from the dead and one day He is coming back.
We all deserve the ultimate punishment (hell). But God loves us so much that He took the punishment on Himself.
We broke Gods law, Jesus paid the fine.
If you repent from your sins ( sincerely apologize for breaking His law and turn away from doing it anymore) and trust in Him and Him only, your punishment will be paid for, you will get eternal life in heaven, and you will no longer go to hell.
I’m not telling you this to judge you. The thought of you going to hell terrifies me. I don’t want anyone to go without hearing this wonderful news.
