I also purchased this game and currently playing as Emily instead. This game is actually pretty good being Resident Evil’esque as it is. I think it could be just a little bit better than it already is with only one minor change. I won’t mention what that change should be because it’s apparently rather controversial. But other than that, lol… this game is good. You’re doing great, Lizz. 🥂
I played the original AITD back in 92 and it made such an impression with how original an idea it was, and the combination of exploration, and puzzles etc, stuck with me and has been one of my favourite games since. It is the game that launched the whole horror adventure genre, which led to games like Resident Evil etc being developed. I love that they have reimagined this game in a modern style, but it still has so many amazing nods to the original and makes me very happy to be able to play it again. I truly hope you enjoy the game. (the music is awesome)

The voice acting is a pleasant surprise, and the dialogue works really well. Harbour is of course a fine screen actor, but the few earlier VA projects clearly help here too.
BTW, a 'lagniappe' is a common New Orleans phrase. It means 'Guess I'm wasting ten hours hunting collectibles.' 27:25 Also BTW, the man reading the PICAYUNE POST is none other than Sean Branney, co-creator and artistic talent behind the HPLHS - H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society. They've done a lot of fantastic work in adapting HPL's works. Check them out!
Do you plan on doing a playthrough of Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare 2001 game? I would like you to try doing a playthrough of both Carnby and Aline in that game

I have not played this before. I'm presently on FW PC version. DD2 comes after. I think Homeworld 3 will drop by the time I finish both so this title is on the back burner list but I don't mind watching your play through of it. 😄😄 Will be fun. 👍👍

Just finished the Carnby side of the game. Capsule review: better than CALL OF CTHULHU or SINKING CITY, not as good as ALAN WAKE 2 or RESIDENT EVIL2. I liked the guns. Felt good popping the spent cases on the shotgun, felt better firing the machine gun into a critter's face. To whomever was in charge of sound direction: you are an assh#le. The cat in the tube scared the crap out of me.
Iv been looking forward to this 1 while two two movie actors for that reason big fan of them iv heard reviews aint great but i try not let that bother me i never played the originals of this unlike resident evil i played them all since 90s :-) hope u liking this game its cool theres a filter i think with deluxe edition where u can change it to the og kinda cool but not my thing i like today's graphics more wil u be trying out rise of the roin ? Another 1 i got pre ordered for tonight cnt wait speaking of i started watching sum1 play this last night and frame rate was bad judging by the comments its same on here but im not a pc gamer wonder if its like that on ps5 tho do plan on buying asap tho
