  • This one goes out to Bob Seger for being one of the greatest rock and roll singers of all time. It was a request, and I had the individual studio tracks, so I thought I'd transcribe it. The guitar was buried in the original, so it really helped to be able to have a separate track of it. Not many good transcriptions out there, and none I've seen with the saxophone solo, which my tab will have. So, hope everyone enjoys it, and thanks for watching.
Old Time Rock and Roll was written by Thomas E. Jones lll and George Jackson, and was first released on the album: Stranger in Town by Bob Seger in 1979
The Equipment used in this recording is as follows:
    Slate ML1 Microphone
    The software is Cubase Pro.
The audio interface is an Axe IO
The Bass is a Sire straight into the Axe.
The Guitars are a Fender Stratocaster, and an SG Epiphone Prophecy, straight into the Axe. Amplitube 5 was used for amp emulation.
All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1
Ozone 9 was used for mastering.
The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
