Granny Pat that was a wonderful story. When you tell a story you make us feel like we are sitting in the doctor's office with you. How uncomfortable it is to sit on the table waiting for the doctor to come in and see your private parts. I guess after a while, you get more comfortable going in. I always remind myself it's no different than going to the eye doctor, the dentist, etc. Parts are Parts. But I could see how emotional you were getting when it comes time to say so long to the doctor that knows you inside and out once he retires. I feel the same way about my doctor. I love you Granny Pat❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰 and Jan is a very lucky lady to have you for a mother. Take care of yourself so you can tell us many more wonderful stories. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Granny Pat - I hope you realize that the gift you’re giving to humanity by telling your stories on this video forum so that we have a record to cherish is truly amazing and you can’t put a value on it. I lost my grandma in 1987 at age 16. My dear Grandpa passed away in 1991, when I was 20, a few months after my wedding. I didn’t have them for many years but the memories that I still have are more precious than all the earthly treasures
To MHome, You have said this so Nicely! I Agree about Granny’s Videos! I live for my Family and My Grandchildren! My Grandparents were all gone by the time I was 7. I always missed getting to know them good.
Oh dear, I don't want you to ever think that you are insignificant or have no meaning in life! You have so much to offer and you are appreciated by myself so much…just remember all of us who appreciate each and every one of your stories and recipes. You have so much to give and we appreciate having the knowledge and friendship you are like a dear friend and I look forward to each and every one of your videos and cherish them…thank you for all that you give to each and every one of us. You are a rock star in my life and I'm sure many others also!! Love you dearly!
I feel so fortunate to have found your channel, Granny Pat. Your stories bring me so much comfort and joy. You remind me of my grandmother. I agree. There is nothing like a photo you can hold. My grandmother always wrote the names and dates on the back of the pictures as soon as they got them back from the developer. She said because if you don't do it right away, you forget. I am so happy she did that for us. Thank you for sharing with us all. You are a treasure.
I have two doctors that have retired that I had for years and I’m only 70. It is sad since they were so nice, and good doctors. You look very nice in that blue with your glasses.
Doctors are so adverse now to even fully exam their patients it seems...I can't remember the last time my doctor even used a sethescope on me let alone placed a hand on me! Good bedside manner is rare these days. Lucky you had such a great doc!
Pat I just love you and your stories! You make me laugh, you make me cry, you make me remember and appreciate so much of life and I thank you for that. Keep up the great work on sharing so much! ❤❤❤
Pat you did a great job on the jewelry video. It wasn't too much at all. They looked fabulous in the pretty bowls too. Of course I LOVE jewelry. Loved the story about your doctor - sounds like he's a good one!
Remember that old song,"Let the sunshine in,face it with a grin, smilers never lose and frowners never win,so let the shine in!" Love you and the jewelery video was wonderful!
It is so hard to find a good doctor. I searched and I searched and I visited several doctors. It is really hard to find a doctor who satisfies your expectations and needs. I really love nurse practitioners. Even some of them are not up to par with my anticipation. There is nothing more embarrassing than that physical that us women have to take. I really hate that experience of having to expose your body. I'm glad you found a good doctor. I love listening to your story and experiences. I'm so happy to hear you are doing well. I am so happy that we make you happy because you make many of us happy. You are a joy. I love you to pieces
I’m just your average person with average interests. I feel good if I can make others feel good. I am learning that more and more each day, even with my family.. Unfortunately,, some family members aren’t interested in what I think or do. I can live with that! They have no interest in my Utube Channel. I don’t let that bother me. I am happy with the many friends I have made and the good impressions I have made in their lives.
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 yes, you are definitely making good impressions. I'm sorry that you have some family members not interested. Your UA-camrs are very interested. It's nice chatting with you.
I actually just got a new doctor today . Just in time too . Ive been having pins and needles in my feet and im terrified i have diabetes . Lots of other stuff going on too , so definately will be getting blood work. Keep me in your prayers and thank you for another story . I always love to hear them when i go to bed. So comforting.
Oh how I love this story!!! My doctor is only a year or two younger than I, so I feel sure at some point in the not too distant future I will move on to one of the younger doctors in her practice. She is in a very large group-the largest Internal Medicine practice group in Macon, GA. I haven’t been with her for 24 years but I have been with her for about 10 years. History is most definitely important-especially family history!!! 💝💝💝
What a great story about your 24-year relationship with your doctor! I don't think there are many who could say that. I teared up when you told us how Jan called and he sang "Happy Birthday" to you. Now there's a doctor with a big heart. What a blessing that Jan made that appointment for you, so many years ago!
I was at my mom's 1 day when I was in my late 50's , Iwas complaining that my chest hurt when I was breathing in deep . My mom took me to the E.R. and the Dr. Said I would have passed away if my mom didn't insist I go . They kept me in the hospital for 5 days .I ended up with severe lung embolisms . I now take Eliquis blood thinner twice daily for ever .They couldn't figure out what caused it . I'm glad I listened to my mom because I never would have gone on my own .
WHAT A GREAT STORY GRANNY PAT OUR FAMILY DOCTOR RETIRED AFTER 30 YEARS 2 DAYS BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT HE DECIDED TO RETIRED A WEEK EARLIER WE NEW EACH OTHER LIKE FAMILY HE LEFT A THANK YOU CARD WITH A LETTER TO US I DO MISS HIM❤️🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
Loved the story about your doctor. I have had 2 now that are close to retirement age. It really hit home for me. Having personal relationships with a doctor is amazing and a blessing. I sure hope your doctor waits a long time to retire. I love your stories…the Happy ones and the sad ones. They all make us who we are. You are a very special person and I feel grateful that I discovered you and your wonderful stories.
Aww, that story about your doctor is such a sweet story! He sounds like a wonderful doctor, Granny Pat. Mine has been with me for about 20 years, and he is friendly, but overworked. Just so many patients and never enough time for chit chat. You are so lucky😊❤️ Loved this video😊
Thoroughly enjoyed this story because I can relate to it. I am 84 yrs old & had the sane Dr. for 30 + yrs. I woukd tell him he couldnt retire till after I died. Well he had the nerve to retire & I am still going. Thank the Lord. That man knew me inside & out. My feet would be in those stirrups & I would be rattling on & the exam would be over. He was a compassionate & carrying man. He cared about all if you. I go to same office only have a younger female Nurse Practioner but have established a good relationship with her. I think the older generation find that we have a lot in common♥
I agree Granny Pat, it’s hard to find a Doctor you can trust and actually listen to you. My husband moved us 9 years ago so I could be closer to my sister and I had to find new Doctors, boy I was not looking forward to that. I live about 30 miles from the city and found a GP that we both like. I adore my Opthamologist, she goes out of her way to lust chitchat and helps me get the best deal on my glaucoma drops that are so expensive. I wish I could find an internist instead of just going to a GP. Have a good evening, we sure love you and your wonderful stories.❤❤
Oh how sweet. It is so hard to find a good doctor. I am 77 years old, my doctor is 82. I worry about loosing him. He is just the greatest. Love your stories. Thank you so much. God bless.
Hey there Granny Pat, Yes it has been cold , rainy ,& snowy here in Colorado- whew! What a spring! Glad I didn’t plant my flowers 🌺 🌷🌼yet!! Really enjoy u very much. Keep up the good stories. ❤️& Prayers
Hey Pat, Kitty here. Just a note to tell you how much watching your videos has made me feel not so lonely. i’m a collector too. Not on your scale LOL but you’ve emboldened me or should I say made me feel not so guilty about my love of beautiful things. Like you I’ve found many treasures at the GW. But aside from that aspect I find myself calmed when I watch your videos. I have an anxiety disorder a fancy way of saying I’m skittish. I became a widow in 2019 after 50+ years and decades of caregiving for my bedridden husband. He had severe MS. I love that you ENJOY life and it’s contagious. I think too, you exemplify the idea that it’s never too late. There is lots wrong with the Internet but there are lots of miraculous things too.
Hi Granny Pat! Another great chit chat with you today. Things do not have to be perfect. I like the down-to-earth type of chats. It is nice to hear your words and I just get lost in the moment and enjoy it all. 😊 Gloomy here in Indianapolis too. Your sunshine from within always shines through and you sign off with a smile. I look forward to your next chat. Hugs. Nancy from IN.❤
I remember going to a doctor when I was in my early fifties and I asked him a question. He prefaced his answer by saying,”If you were my mother,”! What a shock that was.
Dear Granny Pat, I agree with this Lady! We Love You So Much! We are looking for much more! I’m 67 and I sometimes wonder how much more time I have. I soon change my way of thinking. Hey wait a minute who knows , we don’t know . Just keep living and Enjoying Your Beautiful Life! You Are A Joy to So Many!!! BL from Ohio ❤️😘🐝

They become very important people in our lives.❤️❤️🙏carson in Ohio. I also feel a good bit like you do on life now. I take one day at a time. ❤
You are my most favorite granny i love you so much pat granny you should be avoided put sugar in cornbread please take care for eating my prayers for you all the time smile will be on your face and goodnesses with you stay safe happy and blessed good luck
Enjoyed your story today about your Dr. I recently went through my Dr. retiring after seeing him for years. I have a new Dr that took his place. She is a good Dr but not the same. Love you Granny Pat ❤
Good evening granny Pat Karen forestparkga how was your day what you eat today some special like Fry chicken coleslaw mashed potatoes and Dr pepper 🎉🎉🎉🎉 love you old girl
I enjoy all of your videos, yet there was something about this one that I’ve been especially fond about. I was thinking about your doctor…how he was looking up information about Sea B. Island instead of reading about some medical information that it seemed he should have been doing, as you were there for information! It does appear that he has a nice personality and that day he didn’t seem to be rushing through so quickly, which was great!
For me, the doctor was showing personal interest in me and who I am. He calls me by my first name. I like that! I like when my doctor can repeat something I told in a recent visit, something unrelated to medicine.
Keep those stories coming, Granny Pat. You have so much to share & teach us all. I greatly appreciate you opening up & letting us in. You make me feel so at home. Looking forward to your next story. God bless you Granny Pat.♡
Hiya Gran Pat!! I adore cemetery visits! Watch SIDESTEP ADVENTURES! So interesting 🤗 I don't like going to the Dr. I typically will only go if absolutely necessary. And i can't go to a male OBGYN Dr. Just odd to me. Thank you so much for sharing!!
What a Wonderful Legacy you leave for your family, and All of Us! I’m 73, and I Hope to continue like You!! You are so Amazing, and I Love You Dearly! Your stories are so Very Inspirational and close to God, the Father, Almighty! Praise God for Granny Pat!❤✝️🥰✅
Awwww. He sounds like a wonderful doctor. I have some professionals that take care of me and they are so wonderful like your doctor. I bet your doctor feels blessed to have you as his patient. Im sure you add to his happiness. That's how you are. You have a gift for making people feel great. You look so good in that color blue. Have a wonderful day. Please stay well. We need you. From Shirley
I figure my doctor hears whining and complaining all day, so if I can say something funny, it might brighten his day for a change. I can make him laugh.
Even though I am thousands of miles away in England, when you mention the weather it is quite often the same weather over here in England! You talk about the rain, and as often as not it is raining here on that day. You say the sunshine is peeking through: and it is often the same here. Some times I think people and atmospheres can be connected, even though there is an ocean between us.
I really enjoy listening to your life stories. Everything you talk about is so similar to events I have gone through. Stories that are about your parents and grandparents are very interesting. Thank you for sharing!
Yes you are a good southern girl....friendly, outgoing and personal even with the doctor. Why not make Them Laugh and enjoy the visit. (Keeps them from having a humdrum day!! Keep them in stitches on the way out. Love your subjects and delivery...and look good doing it. Jan in TN
I hardly know what to say. I just rec’d your package. How did you happen to have these pictures? I watched Jeanette MacDonald/Nelson Eddy movies many years ago. Loved their movies and singing. I can’t help but ask why you decided to send this package to me. Are they from your own collection? Thank you very much. It is very thoughtful of you. The young man who helped me publish my books said I write like Erma Bombeck. I’m not doing anything special. It’s my viewers that keep the party going.
I so enjoyed this, could relate to a lot of it and got a few chuckles too😂. My dad used to say that all doctors went to medical school and graduated but you never know if the one you pick was at the top of their class or the very bottom of their class. You better hope you don’t get one at the bottom of the class.😂. I always dread when they’re done typing on their little computer and spin around to tell you how you’re doing, always seems like they want to add a new prescription that’s gonna have side effects to bring you back again…a vicious cycle but luckily I like my doctor.
I have known a lot of good doctors because I used to work with them. Of course there's always one bad apple in the bunch, but thankfully that wasn't often. That is a great story! Especially about reading the epitaphs in a cemetery. I think it's interesting.
I have asked you before if you would ever talk about "Close To Death Or Dying" video and you just said in this video "life does not have much to hold for me" You also said you are telling it how it is.. I know folks would know how you feel about this at 88..Please Consider this? Let me tell you that you are wrong on the part where you said life does not have much to offer, but that offering is amazing for US. Love and Hugs from Atlanta.
Granny Pat- you are simply the best! One of my favorite videos is you telling the story of looking for bittersweet in your beautiful black sheath dress and suede pumps. I love listening to your stories! Carla in NJ. ❤️
You make my day Brighter! I can be feeling sad or just in a mood, And then There you are And You Make me see things different. I love every Story! You are a very important part of my Days now! I am just so happy I found you! I almost picture your stories in my mind. And know how you feel on some of the things that you talk about. And love all the new things I've learned!❤ Debbie In Texas
Yes, you are SO blessed to have a Doctor that is so friendly & kind! I have been trying for year’s to find a good Doctor like the one I grew up with. Sadly most don’t even speak much English. And we don’t have much in common. I’m praying that God will guide me or has guided me to the right Doctor. She seems very sweet but she’s freshly Graduated with no experience lol. Wish me luck. Thank’s again for another wonderful video! 💕
I loved your story. I have a woman doctor who is like the doctor in your story. I was one of her patients as she started her practice. I worry that will happen to me that she decided to retire. She assured me she has no intentions of retiring. 😊❤
I can identify with your story about the doctor. My husband and I have been seeing our PCP for probably 30 years now. He’s in his 60’s now, but his hair is still pretty dark. He’s of Greek descent and I don’t think he puts color on his hair. I can usually tell…😉. But I dread the day he retires because at that point, we will have a dickens of a time breaking in someone new! 🤣 ❤-Brenda
I watch you all night long, even when I’m sleeping, so I always let the ads play. I’m glad it helps you! Your voice is so relaxing and calming. Thanks for all your hard work to create these UA-cam’s!
Oh, how I wish I had thought to ask questions of my grandma back in the day. I would love to know how she and Granddaddy met; how my parents met (they both died when I was 15); how GREAT grandma (who was born in 1868 and who I remember) and Great Grandad met. How did Great Grandma feed and clothe her six children when her husband died young? I like to think all my questions will be answered when I reunite with them all in heaven.
A story came to mind when you were speaking of the headstones at the cemetery and how they tell a story. Forgive me, if I’ve already told you this. I went home to louisiana many years ago and went to the cemeteries with family. I saw a shiny new black headstone in the distance. As I got closer, I noticed a white engraved suitcase on it. Naturally, I had to get a closer look. It was a centenarian. Above her suitcase, it said, “GO, GRANNY, GO!” Oh, how id of loved to know more about this lady…and all of her many travels. Sounds like she lived a full life! 🥰 You are blessed to have had your doctor for so many years. It’s so important! When I moved here 11 years ago, I had no idea of what was going to happen with my medical care. I just assumed all would be fine. It seems in these parts, not many stay for very long. I’ve probably gone through 10 primary care doctors in 11 years. Many reasons, hospital mergers, most just go off to atlanta or other bigger and better jobs. I think small towns are not for a lot of them, I can understand. Now that so many from Florida are here full time (not just summers) and more moving all the time, the supply and demand is at an all time high. I was a recently sick and it’s 3-4 months to get an appt. Told to go to walk in clinic or er. Walk in are almost always full. So… I’m very thankful you have had such good medical care. Thanks for the video! As always, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
When I fell in March with a head injury, my daughter called 3 days later and said,”my mother needs to be seen today.” They said , “Bring her in at two o’clock.’ You can’t get that in small towns.\ BTW, Hart Graves is in NYC. I will see her when she returns.
Have you been on the Greyhound bus?? When i was truck driver I decided to quit my Job with JB Hunt and had to bring the truck to the base station in Little Rock Arkansas. I lived near Springfield Missouri and had to take a Greyhound bus from Little Rock to Springfield! That was the longest windiest drive. And i don't even remember how many stops along the way! Back in1995!

Wonderful Story Always Enjoy your Videos. Thank you!!Take Care!😀
Enjoyed your story today about your Dr. I recently went through my Dr. retiring after seeing him for years. I have a new Dr that took his place. She is a good Dr but not the same. Love you Granny Pat ❤
I so enjoyed the jewelry video. You are too hard on yourself. We don't expect perfection!
Good evening granny Pat Karen forestparkga how was your day what you eat today some special like Fry chicken coleslaw mashed potatoes and Dr pepper 🎉🎉🎉🎉 love you old girl
I love this story…Pat, you let your new Dr know you’re important, say I hope you know and understand that 😊 What a good soul you are Pat!
I was wondering if I was older than you. I’m still 77 years old. You’re an amazing lady! Thank You for sharing this video.
Love your stories Granny Pat❤ You have a wonderful memory.
Such a great story!! Thank you, Granny Pat! Your stories are always enjoyable to hear! ❤❤❤
Hiya Gran Pat!! I adore cemetery visits! Watch SIDESTEP ADVENTURES! So interesting 🤗
I don't like going to the Dr. I typically will only go if absolutely necessary. And i can't go to a male OBGYN Dr. Just odd to me.
Thank you so much for sharing!!
Good evening Granny Pat. We love all your stories whether they be happy or sad. They are all a part of some ones history.
Keep ‘em coming Granny Pat. Treasure your stories almost as much as I treasure you‼️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯🤗♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Love your stories Granny Pat! Amazing to have a doctor that many years! Brenda from Overland Park KS.
So soothing to listen to you!❤️Reminds me of my Mom and Grandma who have passed.
Granny Pat, you did it again. I was feeling bad and after listening to your story I feel much better
You sre so much like my Mom. I enjoyed your story
About your doctor . I go
To a clinic and my doctor
Changes about every 4 years.
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 I'm sure you do make him laugh. I bet he loves you.
Jan in TN
I want to thank you for sharing your story of your doctor's visit and I rejoiced at the wonderful outcome. I love you as family.
Love you, great story. You always warm my heart.
I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing with us,,,😊
I have known a lot of good doctors because I used to work with them. Of course there's always one bad apple in the bunch, but thankfully that wasn't often. That is a great story! Especially about reading the epitaphs in a cemetery. I think it's interesting.
Hello I just found you yesterday so happy I did. Thank you so much for sharing and talking with us.
Thanks for sharing!!! What a wonderful story!!! 😂
You have brought so much joy n sunshine to my life since I found you 2 weeks ago. It’s make me happy when I have stress and is sad. MAHALO MUCH!❤️🌺
I'm so glad!
Thank you, Pat! 💕🌸
Granny Pat- you are simply the best! One of my favorite videos is you telling the story of looking for bittersweet in your beautiful black sheath dress and suede pumps. I love listening to your stories! Carla in NJ. ❤️
I agree! That was a fierce day, but one worth writing about. I haven’t seen any bittersweet since then. That was a long time ago.
You make my day Brighter!
I can be feeling sad or just in a mood,
And then There you are
And You Make me see things different.
I love every Story!
You are a very important part of my Days now!
I am just so happy I found you!
I almost picture your stories in my mind.
And know how you feel on some of the things that you talk about.
And love all the new things I've learned!❤

I always love your stories and love you too.❤️
Yes, you are SO blessed to have a Doctor that is so friendly & kind! 💕
Hello Granny Pat, I really enjoyed your video. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
What a story. So on-point. I’m feeling that way lately. lol
It's not possible to keep doctors anymore. Doctors keep leaving this area of Michigan...it is upsetting. I am glad you found a good one. 😀
Oh my goodness what a great story
Thanks you granny Pat Karen forestparkga good advice may God bless you iwillbe62in October
ILove all your story videos.Love ya
YOU DID IT AGAIN, you told an amazing story, wow.. That doctor.. Hugs From Atlanta.
I love your stories!!!❤❤❤
❤-Brenda
you always look so pretty and classy . Love the videos so much
Thank you for this video Granny Pat !
Great story granny pat love you 💕💕
I wish you great health and please stay well.
You make me happy!
I loved your jewelry video! I’ve watched it at least 4 times so far.
Let the ads run each time you watch. I get paid for the ads. That always helps.
I watch you all night long, even when I’m sleeping, so I always let the ads play. I’m glad it helps you! Your voice is so relaxing and calming. Thanks for all your hard work to create these UA-cam’s!
@@antoniarivera4388 The responses from my viewers are worth all the efforts I put in my storytelling. Thank you.
Blessings 💞🙏🏾💞
Njoy d I his immensely. Lol😂😂💯
You are such an interesting and intelligent woman.I am so glad I found your channel.
We should all be teaching our descendants to ask questions. They are vital to our family history.
Pat, freeze your leftovers.
Would you like to buy me a deepfreeze? I’m out of space in my freezer. It’s time for a good cleanout.
Wow! What a great 28:16 story! You're truly amazing. So glad I found your channel. ❤😊
Great video.
You are blessed to have had your doctor for so many years.
When I fell in March with a head injury, my daughter called 3 days later and said,”my mother needs to be seen today.” They said , “Bring her in at two o’clock.’ You can’t get that in small towns.\
BTW, Hart Graves is in NYC. I will see her when she returns.
👍
Have you been on the Greyhound bus?? When i was truck driver I decided to quit my Job with JB Hunt and had to bring the truck to the base station in Little Rock Arkansas. I lived near Springfield Missouri and had to take a Greyhound bus from Little Rock to Springfield! That was the longest windiest drive. And i don't even remember how many stops along the way! Back in1995!
I used to ride from Lexington to,Toledo.
