Nerdzoic exactly I love getting a figure no matter what but walking in a store and finding that one figure you’ve been hunting makes it even better! Great vid!
Facebook groups are also the way to go. I've focused mainly on prequels/prominent OT characters and the most I've had to pay for a fig over retail was $34 for Commander Cody last year. I just hope Hasbro continues to re-release/archive popular figs so everyone can get what they want
I don’t really have a said “focus” because I love all of Star Wars, but as a relatively new collector I made a list of the figures I need and ones that I’m just keeping an eye on. I also split them up based on if they are older or available for pre order/just coming out. I think it’s also important to list which figures you have pre ordered and when they are expected to arrive in order to budget.
A big key for me, especially since I don’t have a lot of space: Only collect what you love. Don’t buy it just to have it. That’s saved me lots of money and headache.
My tip would be if there is a figure you really want pre-order it. I know it is fun to find in the wild but nothing worst then not finding the figure your heart was set on and having to pay ebay prices for it.
lol, you pre-order it and months later after you see them on the peg at your local store you get it. that's assuming, too, your order isn't cancelled. i'm inbox, so any amazon exclusive makes me cringe. it's all moving online, though, and a huge reason while i'm getting out the game. my walmart doesn't even carry BS anymore, and the other stores can't even stock their own exclusives let alone new waves that just keep coming out amounting to 60-70 figures a year. be prepared to not even get it at pre-order given the competition between bots, scalpers, and other collectors. this is why staggering the pre-order times is something i expect will be common practice.
In all fairness I've had a few steals on ebay from auctions - I got Endor Han and Endor Luke for £14.00 each - but definitely see a lot of those ebay prices you mention!
Matt. So glad I came across your channel..I’m a brand new collector and I’m so glad you explained your excellent insight on collecting..you’re awesome..thank you sir.
My Black Series collection is a bit on the small side at the moment, but I already have my “focus”. I’m a sucker for Clone Wars, Rebels, and the OT characters so that’s what I mostly collect. Thanks to you and other collectors, I’ve learned that one of the smartest things to do with a character you really want is to pre-order them. However, I do already try to limit myself with any figures over $30 since most of the time, Hasbro will re-release those figures in the future and I can get them at retail price. For instance, I never got to buy the original Wolffe when he first came out and he skyrocketed in price. I wasn’t about to spend $80+ on him so I decided to bide my time and see if he’d get re-released, then woe and behold, he got re-released on BBTS for his regular retail price.
Matt, your top 5 is spot on!! Making #1 talk to your spouse is essential to successful collecting. Not many “Top 5 collecting” videos in the community touch on this!! I can only remember justice Curry always always always stress this & stress budgeting for your collecting. #3- find your focus- I literally just went through my collection & thinned it out. As a collector some figures don’t give me the “fizz” as much as others do.. Toy Galaxy hits on this too & it’s so true. Your interests & focuses change.. great video & awesome channel! Just found you & have already enjoyed majority of your videos! Keep it up!
Having a focus is a really good tip. For ANY toyline. It saves you both space any money. Because like you said, unless you have unlimited funds and space, it's next-to-impossible to be a completionist. When it comes to the Black Series, I only collect movie and video game characters. I don't do any characters from novels/comics or animated series', since I haven't dabbled into that side of Star Wars and therefore have no attachment to anything from it. And even then, I tend to get the movie and video game characters I actually have an attachment to and feel are essential to a Star Wars collection. I'll skip out on a lot of background characters that only appear on-screen for a few seconds and don't really matter to the lore, as well as main or supporting characters that I don't really care for. I didn't get most of the Rogue One or Solo figures since I found those movies to be underwhelming...and have no attachment to those characters or those versions of the OG characters.
You've hit the nail on the head. These are all lessons ive learned over the last ten years of collecting. These tips also apply to pretty much every toy line.
Great video. I have only recently found your channel. Love your prospective on collecting! My son is 8 and he want to collect so we watched this video and started discussing all the point you made. Thanks for making these videos!
Hey Curtis-so glad you and your son are enjoying my content! This is a great way for the two of you to have “man time” as my son calls it. Thank you for watching.
I used to collect every trooper that was made but quickly realized I was running out of room and it was becoming too expensive. Now I just collect Mandos and Clones.
Tip # 1 - is legit. Tip # 3 - personally my focus is buying figures the look great in photos, Tip # 4 - very handy as the prices on amazon are so all over the place
I’m kind of in-between on that tip #3. I will more often get figures from my favorite 3 films (ROTJ, ESB, and ROTS in that order), but I generally just stick to the main characters, and maybe an extra background character if the figure is really well done. So personally I’m totally looking forward to ROTJ’s 40th anniversary in 3 years as I’ll be having a hayday (and my wallet is probably gonna take a few hits)
You hit it right on the nail with having a focus. This can be tough with any toy line as there is so much out there and it can be really if you’re just getting into collecting and feel that added pressure to play catch up to everyone else. I like the tip about asking your spouse. My wife was all for me in this when I started collecting again. Now, she can get pretty upset when she see’s a package from eBay or Amazon show up. 😂
My tip is to always be patient and buy what you like. My strategy: if I miss a figure, I don't pay resale for it, I just wait for another wave or archive release. But if it's a figure that I don't really like but still want to complete the numbered series, I get it on an aforementioned Amazon deal. Were those first edition figures cool? Yeah I guess but I didn't feel like I needed them and just got the regular issue ones.
The tip that I’d like to know would be is there any way that you can find out the rarities of these figurines so you know which one will be worth the most upon purchase? Is there a website that shows the amount produced of each? Thanks!
I’m not sure if I’ll be collecting or not, this month I decided to outright buy the 6 bounty hunters from empire as they’re my favorite characters from Star Wars. It came with a price, Dengar was insanely expensive, this is a hobby that could get very pricy which is making me want to maybe just stick with the bounty hunters
Nice tips. When I go to conventions, I always ask the dealer to make me an offer or try to bundle at one price. Sometimes they will/won't but it depends on the dealers. Also, try estate/garage sales and who knows, you might buy both loose and carded figures. When I shop on Amazon, I check on the prices and discounts. When ordering, try to get at least a few figures so you get a box instead of the envelope type package. Thats what causes you carded figures to get damaged. And thanks for the Action Figure 411. I will use this for checking prices. As far as collecting Star Wars, I will stay with the VTC and Black Series.
I just need Luke for my collection (skywalker family) and am waiting for an updated ROTJ look...or I might just grab the Endor look when it comes in a single. idk I’m debating cause part of me kinda just wants to finish my collection or but also wants to wait to see until the ROTJ anniversary if they will finally update Luke’s Jedi look.
This helps it good advice I just started collecting at the end of December 2023 and I am obsessed staying focused on a certain series or movie slash show is what I gained from this video and it makes sense I'm going to start by collecting the book of Boba fett and go from there just starting I got 10 so far of the characters I am fond of the most . But after viewing this vid since I have most of the book of Boba fett I might as well complete that and go from there . What is difficult for me I want to collect enough to make a Battle Diorama but don't want to take any of the figures out of the box
What do you call people who just buy ones they like. For instance I dont go out of my way to get any of these unless I like how they look. The only series I'm actively going after is the gaming greats. But I still dont think I would be considered a collector
You collect Black Series figures that you like, so I'd still call you a collector. Your collection doesn't have to be a specific size, as long as you enjoy it.
Agreed about focus. It helps. The other tough thing is picking things up at the right time. I wish I had picked up the Purge Stormtrooper, cause it costs waaaay more than I want to pay for a 6” fig.
Any idea what i should do when a figure gets a better re release? Should i buy it again? If not i always think i missed something and it feels incomplete...
@@Nerdzoic Thank you for reaching out, there is something else i would like to ask. Do you think buying pre orders on the gamestop website would be effected when gamestop closes down?
Can I have some tips ? Just started I'm thinking of only getting black series original figs I have about 8 now just orderd a clone trooper because I think they are awesome .and should I keep them in box really can't display them now.. I have some carded ones as well
I seriously want to recreate the Snoke throne room fight between Kylo-Rey and the preaetorian guards, but damn those red guards are so difficult to find nowadays. Hopefully they would get an archive release.
Great video and excellent points: for me #3 is CRUCIAL!!! I only collect the original trilogy Black Series 6" and I collect them for nostalgic purposes only, never as an investment - that's what my equities and real estate portfolios are for. That's probably because I was 6 when Star Wars ANH came out and those three movies were such an integral part of my childhood. I also pick up a few characters I like along the way, but don't consider them part of my collection - rather just fun pieces. For example, I did pick up all the characters from Rebels and a few from the AOTC and it's animated version CW, just cos they're DOPE. I mean who doesn't like Mace, Dooku and Obi-wan, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, any of the clone commanders and a young, pissed off Anakin? And a few others here and there, mostly droids, cos I like dem droids, too!
Hi! United Kingdom here. I collect, Star Wars Lego, old school vintage, rare funko’s and now dipping my toe into black series. Need advice on how to display
I’m going to also chime in here. Not necessarily a “new” collector, but also not completely a veteran collector either. I would like to know how to best display my figures in an apartment (looking for low-cost, not-so space-consuming)
I pretty much collect Grievous and Ventress, or if it's a clone wars character at a good price, I found Wolfe at a gamestop at clearance and I had a coupon for a few bucks off
Whether important to others or not, this was SUPER beneficial to me as I just picked up collecting again. Your info was a PERFECT foothold to get the gears turning in the right direction. Thank you.
For me I had to make the choice to only collect clones, mando's and spiderman. And although I have bought some beast wars and studio series transformers its helped a lot with staying in budget
I collect only Sith Lords figures and have enjoyed it! It’s so fun winning deals on eBay lol... also if black series ever got more into the old republic I’d probably go broke so you’re right about budgeting!
Same. Black series Fetts, & any other Mandos pretty exclusively. Started opening up to and any characters from the Mandalorian as well. But also had to jump on that Seige of Mandalore Ahsoka in her mando-inspired gear too.
Jeremy Owen I have the Mandalorian himself then on preorder I have the new jango, 40th boba, HAM Mandalorian, and the 2 Walmart ones, at some point I’ll get Sabine too
One topic about investment collecting often overlooked and never mentioned. Figures purchased at or below retail will typically maintain their value. It's like money in the bank. Should the need arise that you need to sell off items, rarely will you lose money.
Great vid, really like your channel. I started collecting recently and due to financial restraints and also I don’t want my house full of figures have only decided “strictly” to collect the Mandalorian and the original trilogy stuff and only the figures I really like, although I am tempted to get a general grevious and darth maul when available! 🤑
My biggest issue is space, and recently a couple of toy lines got my attention. The GI Joe classified series, and the Joy Toy Warhammer series. I said bye-bye to my DC collection, which freed up some space. Then rearranged my shelving. Problem still don’t think I have enough space. The McFarlane Space Marines…
I started collecting recently but i only buy figures when i have extra money to spend and i focus on Mandalorians and high ranking clones for example Bly, Rex, Cody, Fox, etc
Matt, Some good advice 👍 Also I would add never sell older figures that are worth money to pay for newer figures just to be caught up on what is newest at the time!!! I learned this the hard way!!!
Hey big nerdy, love your videos! I have a video idea for you that can help out new collectors like me! Similar to this one! There is a lot of new terminology like "die-cast" and 1/6th scale that I don't understand. Does 1/6th scale just mean it is one sixth the size of the actual person? Maybe I could find all of this out with a simple Google search, but I would enjoy seeing a video of you explaining exactly what new terminology a new collector might come across and what they mean. Thanks again! Stay nerdy!
I like my action figures big, buff and colourful but dam I need some six inche Star Wars representation in my collection, also are you ever going to start shipping stuff to Australia
i will add have an exit strategy. as i'm going to try to sell my BS collection soon, i went to actionfigure411 and came up with $4493.48. i'll ask $3500, throw in a lot of doubles to help offset some price differences in the real world, and if someone picks up locally i'll throw an unopened radio flyer landspeeder into the mix. the point is i'll be thrilled to sell it at a thousand bucks below the 'list' price because when someone buys a collection they expect a good deal. if you part it out you'll get a better price, but you'll also be stuck with a lot of junk you'll wind up practically giving away, plus parting out definitely takes a lot of time and hassle, so that extra money you get back you will have to earn. (i'm an inbox collector.) i'll ask $250 for S&H, if it's less than that i'll refund the rest, if more i'll eat the cost. be paypal ready and expect to pay the 'goods and services' fee -- *never* use 'friends and family' unless you want to be scammed. i'll meet someone somewhere as long as it's only 2 or three hours away for me, and that will obviously take off the shipping cost, but only $200 as i try to mitigate my travel expenses for a potentially 4-6 hour round trip. first i'll offer the collection on the FB collector groups i'm in (if you collect you should belong to many), offering shipping to the lower CONUS (the continental united states minus alaska and hawaii). i suspect that won't go anywhere, so i'll wind up putting it on feebay. at some point most people will dump their collections for whatever reason. that time for me has arrived. don't think it won't for you, too, just in case. my plan is reasonable, and remember that when you collect that you usually lose money barring a focus on more the 'holy grails' which tend to keep their value if nothing else. then again, collectibles often have the bottom fall out, so don't for one second consider it an investment. when i started i built a collection quickly because i bought in lots and got good deals. then i paid what was a very fair price from collectors and flea market vendors. i bought a lot at retail places, sometimes at a discount, so i'm not really 'losing' a thousand bucks, but i'm probably breaking about even, and that's all i can hope for.
Brother I went to my local comic store yesterday and picked up 4 of the 6 bounty hunters that appeared in ESB from the vintage collection as well as the imperial shuttle for under $75, I was freaking the fuck out
What would you say about a # limit (ex. 4 per year) because most black series are priced in $20-$27 would a # limit be reasonable? Not including gifts. Im new to black series so im just wondering
Thanks for the vids on the Black Series, they have been enjoyable and helpful. I am an out of the box displayer/collector. What is your best method for bases to display the figures?
I'm stuck as i don't know whether i should pick Vintage scale or Black Series? I guess i want to create dioramas but i already have lego for that but the articulation of the figures is lacking, the vintage ships though are really expensive an X-wing from RO is 100-80 and i know I'd want 3 1 sealed, 1 for shipwreck and 1 in battle. And the Ghost is £400?!?! I like that you can get 4 troops in packs so army building is easier but i don't know. I'll probably double down on OT for both lines, but PT would likely be Black Series as i want all the Jedi members, and a few droids/their clone battalions, more so for display. ST i can't find a lot on either so will probably stick to LEGO/Custom builds.
When I started collecting black series the fact that they were numbered really sucked me in. Now I have all the red box figures most of the exclusives, no money, and nowhere to put them all
Would you call "main and key support characters" a focus? That's pretty much what I stick to. With Marvel Legends I go with strictly comic book versions.
Nice to find out this channel, i want to start collecting black series and i've decided to stick to all the dark side of the force users, because there are not to many siths, at leat in canon :,( but i hope they start bringing back some legends figures and they should exploit the characters from the comic books.
In my case I’m just focusing on the main characters of each trilogy. Say the sequels: Rey, Poe, BB8, Finn, Kylo & (maybe) Snoke, that’s it. I don’t need 20 stormtroopers, 50 phase 1 clones or the entire Jedi Council from the Prequels. Just the main cast & that’s it.
Tip #1 my wife is some what understanding about my plastic addiction i paid off my house 2 years ago it opened the flood gates for more figures and yes for Gods sake tell her i know communication is key
Knockoffs are a 50/50 thing .... sometimes quiet decent, sometimes garbage I love (basic) ko clone troopers standing besides my Black Series Rex and Cody. Great choice for relatively cheap army building
Do you collect titanium black series ships? The 3 inch ones? Was wondering about the sith infiltrator ship if the landing gear unfolds Also I won't consider myself a collector just yet. I think I'll be stopping at 6-7 ships for now till I replenish my savings. Also focusing my search on ships, especially just the small ones, is easy in the wallet for me
Tip 3, yeah that's not happening lol. I started collecting in 2013 right at the start and I've got every figure from the main line, all I'm missing is some 40th anniversary, exclusive and deluxe figures, plus some vehicles. When it comes to these figures I just can't do picky
I would add 2 more tips 1. Look out out for figure switch outs. You see a figure that is one you think you want and then you see that the figure in the box is not the figure advertised on the box. Somebody bought the figure and switched if for another and returned it and got a refund. Basically stealing it. bring it to the attention of the store manager ASAP 2. When asking about certain figures, at stores like Target or Walmart(I would say avoid Walmart) most of the time, the employees don't know shit about the actual products and many figures in a particular genre will share the same scanning number so their scanner might say they have 5 Anakin's but it might be only one figure or other figures of that wave. There are many more tips I think you could include, maybe do tips 6-10 in another video
@@Nerdzoic It's really about the people in customer service. not being diligent and looking at the product closely. If they would take the time and look closely , it doesn't take a college degree to see the figure is different from the picture on the box. They just scan it and toss it in a basket.
The only tip that matters is, collect things you like.
Yes thats what I started doing, I didn't wanna start buying stuff I didn't know about
the best tip for anyone collection black series. pre-order, pre-order, pre-order
Lately it seems it, it just makes me miss the thrill of the hunt
Nerdzoic exactly I love getting a figure no matter what but walking in a store and finding that one figure you’ve been hunting makes it even better! Great vid!
Hahahaha! I learnt this so quick being in the UK
this is the no.1 collecting tip for black series collections imo

unless you are a MOC completionist, I wouldn't unless its different. If its just an upgrade, I usually selloff the old one if its loose.
I like your vids! I dont collect 6in, I'm a lifelong 3.75er but briefly grabbed BS6 figs. I have a focus- No ST stuff!!
Glad you enjoy! I’ll only do ST at this point if it involves a good figure if an OT character
Great vid thanks for the tips
Your welcome glad you enjoyed!
just wondering, if I pre order on gamestop, will they package the figures with care?
I have actually never placed an order with them. Anybody else care to comment?
@@Nerdzoic Thank you for reaching out, there is something else i would like to ask. Do you think buying pre orders on the gamestop website would be effected when gamestop closes down?
Can I have some tips ? Just started I'm thinking of only getting black series original figs I have about 8 now just orderd a clone trooper because I think they are awesome .and should I keep them in box really can't display them now.. I have some carded ones as well
The great thing about black series figs is that they can always go back in if you decide to. Plus, they look great open
Thanks for watching!
Have you guys seen my video on how to display? ua-cam.com/video/XWldmhJ69bs/v-deo.html
Nerdzoic no, but I’m watching it next! Peace and love from the UK!
That’s a great focus!
So I guess I’m a seasoned collector, because I do all 5 of these, good info Matt
Thanks for watching!
Only problem with this vid is the Zavvi sponsor 😂 they are awful and all collectors should avoid
I decided to only collect Mandalorians and characters relating to the show that includes boba and jango
Wise choice!
Same. Black series Fetts, & any other Mandos pretty exclusively. Started opening up to and any characters from the Mandalorian as well. But also had to jump on that Seige of Mandalore Ahsoka in her mando-inspired gear too.
Jeremy Owen I have the Mandalorian himself then on preorder I have the new jango, 40th boba, HAM Mandalorian, and the 2 Walmart ones, at some point I’ll get Sabine too
Where are the best places to buy these figures? I’m in the UK
Staractionfigures
@@Uchiha-fi4ij thanks man, used them last year when JKR came out wheeew
One topic about investment collecting often overlooked and never mentioned. Figures purchased at or below retail will typically maintain their value. It's like money in the bank. Should the need arise that you need to sell off items, rarely will you lose money.
True lol u less they are from the last Jedi
Yes for sure. I don't bother with sequel stuff. Or Solo items. Nothing against the film I just never engaged with the characters.
Great vid, really like your channel. I started collecting recently and due to financial restraints and also I don’t want my house full of figures have only decided “strictly” to collect the Mandalorian and the original trilogy stuff and only the figures I really like, although I am tempted to get a general grevious and darth maul when available! 🤑
Thank you! Take your time and enjoy!
Thanks for posting! Just won a Black Series Greedo on eBay! Pristine condition!!
Nice’
With Star Wars I go with famous pairs. R2 and 3PO or Luke and Vader, Han and Cheese etc.
Haha, very nice
Great video Matt
Thanks Peter
I started collecting recently but i only buy figures when i have extra money to spend and i focus on Mandalorians and high ranking clones for example Bly, Rex, Cody, Fox, etc
Very nice
great tips😀Is Mr. Bigly's Collectibles any good?
My tip is buy rerelease if it is out there if you just want the fig and don't care what package it comes in
I'm in Lemoyne, might have to stop by the expo and check it out.
Be sure to say hey!
Matt,
Some good advice 👍
Also I would add never sell older figures that are worth money to pay for newer figures just to be caught up on what is newest at the time!!! I learned this the hard way!!!
Agreed!
Stay nerdy!
The scale is 6’. So 1/6 is 12”, 1/12 is 6” etc. die cast is just that a die cast figure.
That can absolutely be something I do
this honestly could just be a video on tips for collecting any type of action figures
Yeah it ended up that way to be sure
Those are great tips for collecting in any hobby not just action figures.
(i'm an inbox collector.)
i'll ask $250 for S&H, if it's less than that i'll refund the rest, if more i'll eat the cost. be paypal ready and expect to pay the 'goods and services' fee -- *never* use 'friends and family' unless you want to be scammed. i'll meet someone somewhere as long as it's only 2 or three hours away for me, and that will obviously take off the shipping cost, but only $200 as i try to mitigate my travel expenses for a potentially 4-6 hour round trip.
first i'll offer the collection on the FB collector groups i'm in (if you collect you should belong to many), offering shipping to the lower CONUS (the continental united states minus alaska and hawaii). i suspect that won't go anywhere, so i'll wind up putting it on feebay.
at some point most people will dump their collections for whatever reason. that time for me has arrived. don't think it won't for you, too, just in case. my plan is reasonable, and remember that when you collect that you usually lose money barring a focus on more the 'holy grails' which tend to keep their value if nothing else. then again, collectibles often have the bottom fall out, so don't for one second consider it an investment.
when i started i built a collection quickly because i bought in lots and got good deals. then i paid what was a very fair price from collectors and flea market vendors. i bought a lot at retail places, sometimes at a discount, so i'm not really 'losing' a thousand bucks, but i'm probably breaking about even, and that's all i can hope for.
Brother I went to my local comic store yesterday and picked up 4 of the 6 bounty hunters that appeared in ESB from the vintage collection as well as the imperial shuttle for under $75, I was freaking the fuck out
Yo! That’s incredible man congrats!
What would you say about a # limit (ex. 4 per year) because most black series are priced in $20-$27 would a # limit be reasonable? Not including gifts. Im new to black series so im just wondering
Also getting Black Series at 5Below...quite a bit of my collection has come from there
They never have Black series at my
Local wendys
Thanks for the vids on the Black Series, they have been enjoyable and helpful. I am an out of the box displayer/collector. What is your best method for bases to display the figures?
Checkout the recommended products on the Nerdzoic website,
I'm stuck as i don't know whether i should pick Vintage scale or Black Series?
Now I have all the red box figures most of the exclusives, no money, and nowhere to put them all
I actually found a esb lando at five below for $5 about a month ago
Nicccce!
Would you call "main and key support characters" a focus? That's pretty much what I stick to. With Marvel Legends I go with strictly comic book versions.
That’s def a focus
You mentioned the Carlisle show, do you go to the one in York as well? I’m missing both this year because of school, so super bummed...
This will be my first year at York, I missed all previous due to work!
Thank you!
Your very welcome!
Do you own all of the black series red box series? Also what is your opinion on the new black series boxes?
I have them all up to #30, which is where I decided to be more focused. Since then I only buy them if there below $10 or a character I love
I was always taught as a collector you go after the bad guys or esquer figures
i went to my local target and checked the black series line only to see 8 DJ's from last jedi. i thought nerdzoic was right
That's going to be a super sought-after figure. Just wait. You'd better go back and buy all 8.
As a new collector, im only focusing on lightsaber wielders first
That’s a cool focus to collect.
@@Nerdzoic yup so far i have archive yoda, jedi knight luke, mace windu, archive darth vader, count dooku, and general grievous
you're guys target walmarts are better than mine, got two lukes already archive and skywalker strikes 2:19. another good site action figure realm
also can't make the show
Nice to find out this channel, i want to start collecting black series and i've decided to stick to all the dark side of the force users, because there are not to many siths, at leat in canon :,( but i hope they start bringing back some legends figures and they should exploit the characters from the comic books.
That is a fantastic focus to collect in this line
In my case I’m just focusing on the main characters of each trilogy. Say the sequels: Rey, Poe, BB8, Finn, Kylo & (maybe) Snoke, that’s it. I don’t need 20 stormtroopers, 50 phase 1 clones or the entire Jedi Council from the Prequels. Just the main cast & that’s it.
Also 5 below has some good 2016-2017 figures.
How about the power of the force line of 1995?
Great videos Matt - what's your thoughts on the value of carbonized figures. I'm just getting started, it seems that's my niche right now.
Tip #1 my wife is some what understanding about my plastic addiction i paid off my house 2 years ago it opened the flood gates for more figures and yes for Gods sake tell her i know communication is key
Absolutely!
Offerup is great too
Ay man, where could I sell my figures? Other than eBay
Mercari, Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, offer up
I wanted to army build clones , but I'm not paying 80$ per clone.
Knockoffs are a 50/50 thing .... sometimes quiet decent, sometimes garbage
I love (basic) ko clone troopers standing besides my Black Series Rex and Cody. Great choice for relatively cheap army building
ive been collecting about 8 years now started in 2015
Another tip: don't pre-order from bbts cause they will definitely keep delaying the pre-order
We love you big nerdy 😍
Thank you friend, you guys are awesome!
I love Black Series. Collect them all. If I double the figure i usually just trade them on OfferUp
I collect primarily clones then empire. Some jedi and sith if they're special
Do you collect titanium black series ships? The 3 inch ones? Was wondering about the sith infiltrator ship if the landing gear unfolds
Also I won't consider myself a collector just yet.
Damn!
when i started i started collecting clone troopers only but i still dont have captain rex.
Big nerdy looking trimmer - looking good bro
Yeah, I need to get back to that
I would add 2 more tips 1.
Swaps have been crazy latet
@@Nerdzoic It's really about the people in customer service. not being diligent and looking at the product closely. If they would take the time and look closely , it doesn't take a college degree to see the figure is different from the picture on the box. They just scan it and toss it in a basket.
