I swear Rener could advertise anything well haha
Sales man for sure
Right!!! His energy is just so pure..who wouldn't want to be around him all day
He’s like the chael sonnen of the gracies
He learned from his dad--the pro.
10 years ago, Brian Ortega was given a choice...
fighting in the streets of L.A. or bring his fighting spirit into the octagon
@@LouisVDon You Modelo freaks. I love it
Brian Ortega is a man of destiny. This is like those videos of bieber singing when he was 5 years old. Just when you know you were put on this earth to do one thing and to show the world your talents. Brian Ortega is the true epitome of the student becoming the master. A protege of rener gracie. A future legend. He will be the Greatest.
I hit a flying triangle in competition the day after I watched this. Thanks guys.
I hit it before I watched this.
Nice!
+Ernesto Panza I hit it with my girlfriend last night, devastating!
Pro at this ..hope you get better as soon as possible! Just relax and keep your mind in the game, get that title Brian !you can do it 👍🏽🙏🏽
+Ernesto Panza My girlfriend hit me with that last night, powerful.
LOLLL "Bryan becomes a necklace"
I remember watching this video when I first started jiu jitsu... Brian hadn’t even had his first mma fight yet, let alone the ufc. Now he’s fighting for the title soon undefeated and possibly one of the most entertaining fighters in the sport right now. Blessed to have witnessed it.
skip to 5:38 to learn all the secrets of martial arts
crazy, this kid's now fighting for the belt. much respect!
just hit one in comp... never tried it before, just watched this video a couple times... i'm in the heavyweight division.
In the GI, i just got collar/lapel and sleeve grip and just went for it. Thanks for the vid!
One of the coolest moves I've ever seen, I might even try to practice this move and master it
I dont speak that passionally about many things, he speaks about everything passianonally :D :D
Good spelling man!
Sry man, iam not a native speaker ;)
Yannik Baltes google is your friend
nah dont like that google dude.
"We bring it into the worlddd!!" ahahaha..
Rener is seriously, one hella cool cat...
“Call me. I’ll carry your weight” 😂 Classic
9 years later TCity fights for a title in the UFC (and hopefully takes it home). Such an inspiring young man.
Rener is my new hero. Such a rad dude.
Rener is so passionate about life..what a great teacher..doing what he was born to do..cool to see..inspiring to say the least.
Watching this after the max fight , truly have come far Ortega keep up the good work champ
This is exactly 10 years ago. He definitely had a choice
Hit this for the first time today! Great stuff guys, love the flying triangle now :).
Great clip, many thanks! Also, great commentary!!! Funny but not obnoxious. Keep them coming.
Ive been watching Gracie videos but there is no doubt Rener is the best Instructor. Great videos Rener.
Naz United Kingdom
Flying coconut triangle lock
ha ha
Zandig Т 😂
Looking forward to seeing more of Brian.
One of the most dynamic fighters in MMA.
Get after it T
Rener can kick my ass anytime. What a joy he is to watch. Gleeful, competent and a true teacher. Thank you.
Thx man the triangle choke is my favorite submission technique, one more position to execute it is very welcome
That's insane. You also explain everything really clearly. Great job.
rener has so much energy I love it haha
I gave this video a "like" because it got straight to the point within 0:23 ...
Videos on UA-cam that get straight to the point are hard to find these days... so well done.
👏👏👏👏
But before we get to the flying triangle, let's go over the history of Flying. First there were birds....
Every youtube video today just milking it.
Awesome move, and i loved the finish. with a surprise with coconut drink >.< So unexpected.
highly entertaining and educational. i really like the metality you guys have.
what if you step across with your right leg and turn your body to the right and toss him over your hip or something? would that block the triangle?
See we need more people like this guy, very energetic, straight-forward, etc,
Gracie back down is the best the coolest and funny and great teaching .. awesome teachers .. I wanna join
I though it´s hard to me, in my level. But i now i gonna get do it. Thanks for your excellent class. Thanks for posting it. Ossu!!!
"Why do you drink when I drink?" Lol
Loool I dieing at that part because I was thinking the same thing
@RDbushi The 10 gracies brothers names start with a R. The last is Ricon also named R10.
Já usei muti o triângulo e posso dizer que é uma das minhas técnicas preferidas! BJJ sempre! Oss!!!
Haha, back in the day when Brian was still a purple belt.
Exactly what i was thinking. He's such a natural.
was it purple it looked blue?
Its a blue belt...
@@RoZaxTheGreat nope, definitely purple
@@timmyotoole6063 its blue
Rener's a chill dude... Wish I had a teacher like him
Brian Ortega looks so young 😂😂
He was probably around 18. I think he's 28 now and this is 10 years ago. That's my guess.
Awesome video definitely helped me clear out some bad habits I had when throwing this
Dude this video is awesome!
Wow thank you so much great instruction, where is your gym?
this video... is so cool on many levels! i love the enthusiasm !!!!! heheheheh
lmfao The Dood cracks me up!!!! Great video!
Rock on T-C! Keep pumpin youngblood!!!!
Only thing I ask is, to complete the triangle choke you must apply pressure to the neck with both hands if you only apply it with one hand you might not get enough pressure to choke them out?
These guys are awesome
where can that coconut water be bought at in the southbday? i looooove cocnut water so much but hate drinking ones wit preservatives etc im so glad to finally see one thats kept natural..where can it be bought definitely gonna stock up on that:)
Billiant guys my fav video so far!!!!
rener is such a underated youtuber man
One coconut was hilarious. Keep it real
Haha Brian is like the kid copying everything his big brother does as he idolises him 😆 Rener has quite an overpowering presence
I found that out the hard way. Although, in my experience, because of the surprise factor in techniques like this, I had enough time to do a breakfall (to some degree) as well as finishing the technique. Food for thought.
Muy bien explicado, saludos desde Perú Motupe.
If I lived near them that would be the gym I train at!
Love the Gracies
I'm trying this out today!
real good lesson gnna go try it out at next practice
awesome vid
Good video. One further detail is to tilt your head forward , so as to touch your chin to yourchest, as you fall down. This will protect one´s skull from cracking against the ground as they alluded to. However, they did an excellent presentation. Thank you.
That was awesome, funny ass ending. Rener would be a great pitchman. Awesome technique though, professionally explained.
How do you drill that?
Brian gets mad props just for having the ballz to attempt a flying triangle on Rener, amazing he pulled it off.
Is This allowed in the with belt division
Esto es lo primero bueno que enseña, el pajarraco Rener!!!!
Gotta luv awsome people
well assuming its 1v1 and you start off duking it out like all fights start (face to face or like the start of a match)
won last jiu jitsu tourney with this move! going to gracie jiujitsu world championships at the LA convention center, deffinetly going to be looking to use this =)
I am in Paulo's class. At Gracie academy I have the same master that you had on the back wall!!
Where is your academy?
rener is freaking awesome
does anyone know how much it is for a private lesson with this guy!!
does anyone know what the easiest practical submission bjj move is (ie for a street fight)? my guess is guillotine but i no jack squat about bjj.
i was trying this right now! kinda got it.
The version on Redline's page seems to work better for me. While we are watching this 5 year old video T-city is still evolving.
crazy awesome!
wow you guys keep up the good work.
Wow a very young T-City, future champ
OMG... can't wait until I'm able to do that sh*T!!! I'm going to upload my Gracie Jiu-Jitsu blue belt test when I take it.
GREAT POST!!!
Great
My personal thanks to Rener and Brian because I caught one of these flying triangles in an MMA fight last weekend. The best part is, I'm a Superheavyweight so It's incredibly unexpected.
he talks with passion about everything
Does grabbing the leg really prevent the slam. Because it seems like slamming can defeat a lot of bjj in the street.
Product placement works!
LOL!! that was hilarious!!
@jonjon1189 you for got the loops, the loops are keeping it real right now, keeping it real... lol i love this guy.
The guy in the blue seems very talented. I wonder if he’s a black belt now..
I’m sure with innovations like that he’d do great in a fighting organization
I have an opinion... You guys should talk more about other injuries involved with this technique; there's nothing between the hips and the rib-cage, but [the spine]; which can cause paralysis if someone does slam you. Some(bigger/stronger)ppl can pick you up even after you land, and break you in half. Oss
nice video ;-)
i like his enthusiasm
@themagicaltragic
The groin isn't actually close to the mouth in the choke, your opponents mouth should be exposed if the move is done right. Your groin would actually be closer to the bad guy's armpit
Where is this academy? i wish they would open a gracie academy in Puerto Rico :/
Lol it's so obvious that the kid leads from Reners example. The way he drinks in sync just cracked me up
Nice
Wonder how you could do this in the gi?
I think it would probably be the same way just maybe holding on the sleeve?
Coconuts have never sounded so enthralling!
this is now my life goal!
This kid is going to be a star!!
lol brian was talking so much like Rener, i dont even think he notices he's doing it, he was like doing an impression of him hahahaha
lol at the end "why you gotta drink when I drink?"
I love how he goes from a kick ass flying triangle to advertising his grandfathers coconut juice company!
