About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

Chris is such a cool chill guy. He deserves his signatures!
Been a fan of Chris's since he broke through.
Always liked his early lead playing, very clean, full and articulate for a metal guitarist, solos always cut right through. Reminded me of Angus in a way. His tone sounds much more modern now, as it has evolved.
He looks healthy and I'm glad that all is well.
Continued success Chris.
God Bless!
Chris Broderick should do a solo album drawing from all of his huge range of styles, especially classical. This guy is a beast, and in my humble view, hasn't even tapped into his full creative potential yet, at least on studio releases
Totally agree with you. Broderick have an incredible career with Nevermore, Megadeth, In Flames and others. Would be amazing an album that concentrates all the influences and experiences, showing all skills and musicality of him.
Chris is one of the kindest musicians I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I met him outside of a club in Ft Lauderdale after his set with Megadeth, and although it was obvious how tired he was he took the time to not only take pics with us, but he stood out there for about a half hour just chatting us away. Just a really down to earth dude, and I'll never forget it. His live tone was just bonkers... clear as a bell and just SO articulate. I'm a fan for life! 🤘

That blue one is so beautiful. Congrats to Chris and Jackson, these guitars are awesome.
Holy Shit Jackson, keep up the great work, this guitar is legit. I've only heard him play with Megadeth, but was wowed by his tone, with an Ibanez! He is truly a great guitar player, with fingers with GREAT TONE. Thank you for partnering with Broderick Jackson!
Chris Broderick soloist and mark morton dominion are my favorite Jackson Guitar
This is the ultimate super strat design for me. From the straight string headstock, to the offset body, to the contours of the top, this is a really well thought out design.
His technical skills are great, that 8 finger tapping bit was cool.
I'm just learning the Pentatonic. So, I buy this guitar & I'll be able to play like that right? 😂
Yeah, that’s how it works
We need a Chris Broderick solo album dudeeee. He is a genius !!!
Chris is one of the best and we need new music from him! 👊🙏
I played his signature hard tail 7 string a couple weeks ago and loved it. Had more fun playing this 7 string than any others I’ve played. I’m not even a Jackson fan, but this guitar was just so much fun. And it sounds like that’s what he was going for.
Really awesome guitars! I have the Soloist six strings snow white is amazing with incredible sound! every time I play it I feel grateful for this instrument
Such class love the way he is passionate about what he does and presents the guitar with its features. Wish there were more musicians like him and Jackson is lucky to have him as an ambassador. Have a few Jackson will have to pick one of these up when I see it in store.
i swear he has the "best technique-worst tone" combo ive heard
yeah sounds like there's a blanket thrown on top of my practice amp :D
Yeah always has !
lots of string noise, and open strings for sure...wonder if that's a standard feature, or a deluxe option
not the worst, but I'm definitely not the best
You just made my day... hahahaha!
Jackson is in my blood!
My son got me into Jackson gear. My favorites for sure. Great video, thanks! 🤘
CHRIS IS MASTERFUL IN BOTH HIS SWEET PLAYING AND HIS ABILITY TO ARTICULATE THE KEY FEATURES THAT DEFINE HIS AWESOME SIGNATURE MODEL GUITARS.....MUCH RESPECT TO CHRIS AND ALL OF YOU AWESOME FOLKS AT JACKSON FOR CREATING THESE BEAUTIFUL FUNCTIONAL GUITARS THAT ARE AS MUCH PIECES OF BEAUTIFUL SCULPTED ART....AS THEY ARE FUNCTIONAL TOOLS USED TO CREATE SONIC ART !!!!! :) ;)
Extraordinary, uncompromising master makes extraordinary, uncompromising masterpiece!!
Loving the new guitar lineup, guys!!
Plays so effortlessly and brilliantly! Chris is one of my favorite guitarists!!!!!🤘🤘🤘
you are my inspiration matt for like 15 years
Cool Chris
Keep on rocken
Damn ridiculous talent!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Chris broderick rulez🎸🤘
Just ordered the 7 string fixed bridge for a good price! Can't wait until I get it!
2:04 nasty pitch drifting.....
Good to see you!! You are one of my favorites !! Love AOD some wicked riffs in there !!
Then he does the tapping. I’m done ! Wtf !
Always love this dude. Such a beast!
J
Voce e um dos melhores da atualidade !!!!
I am really living under a rock. When did Chris join In Flames??
Same here 😆 I didn’t know
Same here 🤣
Right around the time when “Act of Defiance” got dropped from their label for poor album sales lol
O
What a great musician!!!! So him only once….
Chris Broderick, just casually playing bach is insane.
@blackcamelify Doing this double voicing with two hands tapping? Not even close (and btw, I love Yngwie's playing)
..and you can play this on this guitar too.... no..no.. I can't
It’s only casual after thousands of hours of practice, even for Chris.

Classy guy, classy guitar.
Relocating the input jack that way seems genius, but I wonder how practical it really is.
Not practical at all. Look how he struggle to plug in the guitar.
The two only reasons why I haven't gotten this guitar is the placement of the input jack and the glossy neck. No neck should EVER be glossy. They always feel kinda sticky if your hand is sweaty (which it probably will be on stage). Also, the input jack would be especially annoying while sitting down. 2 simple changes would be to move the input jack where Ibanez puts their's and changing the neck finish to satin instead of gloss.
Great player and seems like a nice guy megadeth introduced me to a lot of great guitarists
So I get that most don’t like his guitar tone, but I really like that sound for rhythm. I think the issue is it sounds weird for solos. I don’t hate it, but I definitely prefer a more warm lead sound to crunchy leads.
I think it does work for production, however. His solos cut through so clearly, especially on those Act of Defiance albums.
Most aren't even playing gigs, let alone actually making a living playing. But they know better, of course...
my first good quality guitar was an Ibanez RG then i selled and now i go with jdr 94 japan, should be my first choice since the beggining
Broderick is an incredible guitarist. I'm curious what he sounds like with In Flames.
Sounds like In Flames. He only plays a few harmony lines.
Awesome guitar design ...
Chris is amazing guitar player
Chris broderick is my favourite guitarist...
Sold! 🥵
Missed this man
In love with the shape.
Ed Sheeran.
Jackson Guitars ROCK :)
Excelente!!
greatest 2 hand tap ever. i wont even try to learn guitar now because of that. kind of like from spinal tap when they talk about yngwie malmsteen coffee table book.
Cool 🤘🎸
That hard tail 7 string is calling my name
love this guitar I noticed his tone was a lot cleaner on the hard tail which tells me that he was getting a lot of tremolo string noise on his floyd rose! Still a class act and amazing player of course
That “first pinch harmonic” hit hard
🤟🏻 YEAH 🎸
Jackson guitars fucking rules the planet!!! Mike Shannon is a luthier God!!👍😊🇺🇸
I used a dermal too on a cheap guitar inspired by yngwies fretboard lol.
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🍻🎸
jackson has never supported me but ive def supported them.
Great guitar player
I'd love to see this with a 20" radius.
I think I need one of those Pick Clip things.
CBs and JPs guitars might be the most efficient "easy-playing promised" guitars in the world
He’s in In Flames now? Cool
They need to do an MJ line for sig pro series imo. The shape on these are really nicely designed.
They need to get them made and "in stock" at all music retailers..looking at online retailers and trying to find a guitar in stock is a drag because there are very few available..I am waiting for the gloss Black one to get in stock, but it will be awhile I'm sure.
Seems like such a cool guy
wish they made a lefty version, but it looks like you could flip this guitar upside down and restring it and you should be able to reach the higher frets somewhat
Please bring back SL3X Neon Orange for 2022
Great guitar for prog metal. Why doesn't Jackson produce that guitar with an additional single pick up coil, if you want to play some jazz etc? Ibanez has got that realized for their Vai Jens and the guitars for Kiko. Chris is certainly on the same technical level if not fven better.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Decent guitars, but lack of Ebony fretboard sucks. I guess I still have to save for the US model
Most underrated megadeth guitarist. One of the later guys. But he's a maniac and can play better than most
Ehh idk. He’s a phenomenal player hit his stuff with Megadeth didn’t hit that well. It was technical and crazy but there’s no solos of his that I get chills from or hum in my head. Obviously Marty and Chris Poland have screaming solos that are forever iconic. Even kiko has solos that are to be remembered.
I’d say Al Pitrelli is the most underrated guitarist in Megadeth
@@EricJaegerMusic agreed Piterelli looked so cool on that Explorer!
That burl is BOSS! Probably no lefty love though
#JacksonIsJackson
Wait....Chris Broderick is in In Flames? When did this happen? LOL
About 3 year ago, dude))
im as shocked as you are, this is my first time learning it too
Wait... who is Chris Broderick? 😅
News to me as well!
Didn't know that either. 😅
“They just wanted to slap a sticker on an existing model” lol that’s so Ibanez
Fuckin' cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘🇵🇹
Monster of a player 👏
Too good for Megashit! 😂
Megadeth should invite chris for touring. Really. Imagine megadeth with marty friedman, chris broderick, kiko loureiro, and dave mustaine himself. Four horsemen!
okay from 6.30 there is loose mud. @freadguitarist
Why am i watching this? I'm not even a guitarist...
He being in In Flames will make his guitar the next Metalcore standard machine hahaaa
I had the USA but it was super heavy so I moved it, the neck was perfect though.

Love these guitars
Nice lipstick Chris!
This is still my favorite modern Strat shape and it's great to have the choice between 6 and 7-String and Hard Tail or Floyd bridge.
Jackson: If you would do a 7-string equipped with Evertune and a nice flamed maple Top I would instantly purchase this guitar!
Oh, and that input jack is something I need to check out. Seems very clever!
Input jack looks like it would be really annoying
@@wingsoficarus1139 Chris describes it as being really handy and and safe from external influences
@@Ethersis and leaves out the fact that if you hold it while sitting down, the end of your cable will probably poke you in your nipple.
@@wingsoficarus1139 Haha! I guess maybe if you take the guitar on your left thigh. Maybe I make myself a christmas gift. Then i can tell if you are right. 😄
👍👍👍
Jackson: a!
Solar: eu sou uma piada para você???
Chris and Jeff with Jackson signatures? No better legacy of metal guitars than Jackson.
Either his arpeggios are not very good, or his tone isn't very good. A lot of that stuff sounded like it was straight out of a Guitar Center shred fest.
He sounded a bit rusty for sure.
Honestly it sounded like the amp.. all the guitars sounded like it. It just sounded so damn muddy and compressed almost.
@@CyberSoulLover I wasnt wanting to be a dick, but I noticed that as well. How couldnt someone? Shit was muddy and sloppy. Or I'm crazy. Lol.
@@saltpeter7429 It's the amp. He nailed air by Jason Becker last month. I don't think he's rusty
Don't forget the leftys... We play 7 and 8 strings too
Pleb!
6:31 someone’s been doing his Bach
Jeff loomis way beast ,chris no jazzy Summertime ...classical sounds like 8-bit track haha , though Act of Defiance is cool n wild
Techniques like this included? @6:30
can u please drop the KVTMG already it’s been pre ordered for over half a year and every month we get a call telling us it’s getting pushed back it’s getting ridiculous
Thats all the guitars..and the price is steadily increasing as we all wait for them to come in stock.. I thought about buying a USA Adrian Smith for $2299 new..now they are $2999 and haven't been in stock..so its kinda BS the consumer is watching the prices go up and no guitars available to buy.
Reminds me of Kiko Loureiro Tagima K2
while i get that they catered to all his needs, symmetrical body, this and that bows and whistles, but whos gonna buy it????
They need to release that other shaped sig he has been using already. Ive owned a Broderick Jackson USA 7 string for almost 9 years now. My fav guitar, just way to heavy. Hurts your shoulder fairly quickly. My biggest complaint with it
Agree... same complaint about weight... in my case the fretboard markers would also make sense... other than that, best shredding guitar... mine I have since 2016...!
@@juancarlosprevostzarate7077 i love the look of no fret markers or limited fret markers for more modern guitars. The dots on the side are plenty and you get used to it pretty quickly
Sure ... looks very cool and gets everybody guessing...also got myself almost used to, but whenever I grab other fretboard marked guitar I suddenly feel more confident and awareness increases a bit... so I am planning to paint the side markers with some reflective color to help and at same time to keep that cool look...
Miss the headstock
