First time hearing a Jackson Js32 *CLEAN* sounded good. Damn I like it. Well if it because the amp who does the sound like they said 60% amp 30% guitar 10% the player well Jackson I have a confession I'm gonna get ya !!! for my birthday!!
Definitely had a better performance with the Dinky. I think what screws this guy up is that he tries to hard to play "Metal", and when it's all over it comes across as just noise. But when he picked up the Dinky, it was a lot smoother, melodic, and not nearly as rushed together.
Everytime there’s a review on a Jackson or any other “shredding”guitar all I read is people complaining about the Floyd Rose Trem..everytime man!..where do these people live?...I mean is not like in the 80’s where you basically had no information about these things and if you got a guitar equipped with a FRT you didn’t know how to set I up or even change strings...today you can go on UA-cam and find dozens and dozens of videos showing you exactly what to do..plus almost every guitar/music store have experts who know how to work these trems....yeah I’m a Floyd Rose user all my guitars have them..all of them...I’ve been playing for more than 30 years and never have I seen so many people complain about a simple thing like setting up a Floyd...I guess it’s because of the times we live in....looks to me like some people are lazy
@@SwapnenduKar Wow.. This is a very old post! Haha Since then I sold that Dinky and now I have a San Dimas Jackson, Adrian Smith series. And I absolutely love it!
@@SwapnenduKar The Dinky was nice, quality built and sounded decent. The tone was okay, for what I paid for it. The tremolo action was pretty good and it held tune for a while. But not as long as the tremolo on the San Dimas. I opted to get the model with the green flame top. It looks and plays amazing.
I have a Broderick custom shop guitar, I like the kill switch, nice and convenient to just instantly cut the sound. If the pro plays anything like the US model it will be killer. The pickups are pretty amazing. I wouldnt mind picking up a pro series just because it would be lighter and not so hard on the shoulder. It would be nice if they offered more colour options though.
Instead of spending the entire first section of the video messing with the whammy bar and inanely 'shredding', it might have been more constructive to play some riffs/chords and then progress to some intelligent lead lines. Far too many demo videos simply turn up the gain to 10 and spasm their hands around the top of the fretboard when it comes to demo-ing 'metal' products.
Is the color of the first guitar satin black? Because I really love that color. But I'm looking to get a Jackson js32 in satin black. So basically a mix of those both. And on the js32 is it almost like a flat head. Or does it have an arch?
tianahenderson62 BE careful though. That heavy paint job muffles the tone. At least, that it what I have noticed on every matte finish guitar I've played. I think the clear nitro finish is way better.
word to the wise unless you really like using the whammy bar got for the JS22 Dinky DKA, the same exact guitar without the Floyd Rose tremolo and for $100 less
Check out the Washburn Parallaxe series. Various models available at all price points, ~$500-$3,000. Some of the coolest guitars to come out recently. Definitely beats the pants off of JS32 and WR154 guitars.
It sure does. Mine stays in tune quite well, even with whammy bar abuse. I hope this helps your decision to buy one 4 years ago. Stay in 2017 as long as you can. You won’t believe what’s gonna happen in 2020. Hint: Buy a mask.
None more matte black. What the point of the defeatable tone circuit? Is is just for more output in humbucker mode? It's a shame the kill switch isn't momentary. I don't understand why you would use it instead of turned down the volume, and it's tricky to use a latching switch for musical effect.
Sometimes if you get a nice clean tone with rolling down your volume and you need to call it up again after a long silence, you can just flip the switch to kill the signal and then bring the signal back up when you need it. Bass players like using non-momentary systems for kill switches for this reason. Defeatable tone circuits are nice when you don't want to mess with it all the time. It does add a tiny bit more output to the humbuckers, also when you need all 10 and are going crazy on stage, it kind of helps having something out of the way when you don't need it. Then call it up whenever you need a very specific sound. I personally think it's a very convenient and handy layout for the electronics. But hey, to each his own?
XAlphaZEROX Makes more sense now. I'm a bass player and I use the volume knob for tonal reasons but know how far I need to turn it down before it's too quiet. However, I can see why a kill switch can come in handy if you have two volumes and don't want to have to turn them both down, thus losing a certain sound.
Personally for me, I've never been a big fan of the floyd rose tremolo system, because I rarely use the whammy bar when playing songs. I have 2 jackson guitars in my house without the system, and that's the way I like it.
I think he's just too bluesy to play a shredder's guitar. People watch this video because it's Jackson and Chris Broderick. They're not going to want to hear constant pentatonics and overuse of the Floyd Rose. Play a solid rhythm and then throw some melodic leads over it. It's not rocket science.
Why do you guys always go from clean straight to gain turned up all way is there no in between or do you guys just think your tone is "good" or something because personally this audio quality is poor and you would kind of expect more from such a popular company
John Inglis There is no way to "do it right" when it comes to a guitar review. And it actually makes sense to just use only clean or only distorted channels for the chris broderick guitar. That's just the kinda things that the player of that guitar owner would do.
You obviously know nothing about production of sound, hearing this is like a cacophony of noise, everything is booming, You'd think that Guitar World would sort all this production out. It's terrible!
John Inglis explain to me how he can't play...he seems to know his scales, his chords...he sounds pretty good to me and his sound is pretty good...gotta agree with Hank...too many ppl complaining about Paul but hes a great player.
How many times do you guys need to be told before you stop destroying you videos with a noise gate. The dialogue sounds terrible. If you had any sense of professionalism you would spend more time on the audio quality of your videos. Also the guitar tone is pretty poor. It is a well put together demo. But come on guys I would expect better from the top selling Guitar publication.
Damn, the iconic Jackson headstock (like the one on the Dinky) is so sexy.
Just ordered the Broderick. Can't wait! 😱
Paul really knows how to make amazing guitars sound shit.

I don't understand why the Pro Series Soloist gets a 1000 series Floyd but the Broderick for the same price gets a Special?
I have the blue one. I ❤️ it. 👍😎
such a beautiful Guitar ..

I just ordered a Dinky JS32 with the natural oil finish.. A perfect addition next to my Jackson Rhoads EX - I can't freaking wait to get this guitar!!
So how was it? Did you make any video with it?

Raphael Lippi maybe they would like Vai doing reviews!

No. You're a fucktard.
+tianahenderson62 The JS32 is an archtop guitar, but haven't seen it in satin black, only natural satin (which still looks awesome)
Great Review!!!
not sure how he does it, but he makes every guitar sound like shit.
i think the dude got some special powers or something.
Yeah...everybody can't be a world class guitarist like YOU!!!

that freaking killswitch😱
Hi,can you please make a demo of Jackson js22 Dinky arch top black
Can I request the rest of your rig rundown
is js32 has a "matte" skyblue/blue finish ?
+Swamp Fox Its gloss finished but there is a matte black finish
yes...........................
i have this guitar, and its awesome, but the Floyd has no tuningstability. What shall I do( everything with the guitar is perfect)
tighten the nut and stretch your strings
+NinKillPokemon Get it professionaly set up.
Get a German Floyd Rose or the Floyd Rose 1000.
Need to sell my SDX for this axe!
My JS32 buzzes like hell on the low strings, its annoying because the guitar is so comfortable.
Does the JS32 compete with Washburn WR154?
Check out the Washburn Parallaxe series. Various models available at all price points, ~$500-$3,000. Some of the coolest guitars to come out recently. Definitely beats the pants off of JS32 and WR154 guitars.
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love my 2 Jackson Dinkys... the only bad thing about this upgrade is the same old truss rod cover. Damn, that's fugly.
I honestly never liked the scallop they applied to the horns ..i know it makes shredding easier but its fugly imo
cliffthelightning The scallop on the dinky is small compared to the soloist, but yes it doesn't look too cool. I never go there anyways.
Does the JS32 hold it's tune?
It sure does. Mine stays in tune quite well, even with whammy bar abuse.

UA-cam lowers the quality of audio by compressing it. It's probably crappy sounding because of youtube, not the production
yes..............

hello.........................
The Floyd Rose Special ruined the Chris Broderick guitar. I've dealt with my last Floyd Rose Special.
Stop the cap
Holy shitballs, this audio is just god damn awful. Get someone who can play !!
I do quite regularly. If you're going to do a review do it right.
