But all the new “experts” strongly feels that collectors is where the moneys at. Question: is it possible for me to go to my LGs, and try through them making a order of over $6000 in chilling reign booster boxes from their distributor? Well I'm no expert but here is my 2 cents. I would buy the cheapest sealed product possible and just sit on it. Unless you got brick and mortar distribution won't work with you. If you buy a box for say $95 ( battle styles) You must sell it online for atleast $115 to even break even after shipping and fees. So if your not sitting on ALOT of capital , just buy the cheapest box and wait 5 years and you should be at a profit based on previous boxes. As far as short term gains , your would need to the the lucky golden child Alot of UA-camrs actually make all their money from UA-cam and not actually selling the cards , or use the UA-cam money to offset the cost or buying cards. You CAN make money selling cards but it's a volume thing that requires ALOT of capital , think .10 profit thousands of times , but I assure you without a Huge inventory you will NOT make thousands of sales. Selling singles is not a good strategy as there is ALOT of potential downside risk , atleast if you buy a 95$ box how much lower CAN it go? Whereas 10-$9 cards could easily go to .25 each and you lose all your money.
My local community has so many people interested in Pokemon and the only reseller store besides a brick and mortar walmart/ebgames is a 5 star rated (380+ ratings) card shop that sells Celebration ETB's for $100+taxes. @@DannyPhantump Cool thanks for answering! love the content - you are my favorite poketuber, twicebakedjake is a close second though!
Good info
Mmmmmm I don’t think the margins are thin. Have you seen whatnot lol.
Hi Danny, I love your videos and passion for the hobby. My feedback for what it's worth, cut out the 30-40 seconds of graciousness at the beginning of every video. People can sometimes have am extremely short attention span (moreso nowadays than ever before). People need to see your content but I fear you may be pushing people away with the pointless 30+ second introduction.
That being said, love you and your passion, keep doing you ❤
Gilly: "its too long, i should tell him"
also Gilly: *writes a whole paragraph telling him its too long
lol sorry no offense I just thought it was too funny/ironic so I had to say something
It is his way of warming up. I do not believe vids would be of quality w\o his intros. I skip ~30 seconds and watch the entire rest of the video for the past nine months.
My feedback? This comments sucks, let him do whatever he wants. This video is super informative and a short intro asking for subs is more than worth it to hear this info.
@@xaq343 fair enough, we're all entitled to our opinions, it's what we do with the information we're given that counts.
