@@JMBBrasil Hand feeding is a very normal part of weaning foster kittens. You have to usually put it in the side of their mouth a few times for them to get a taste for it. Otherwise they have no way to understand it's food as before that they only have had mommas milk or formula.
Aww such a sweet little baby. Thank you for showing her so much compassion. The cage with the heating was just perfect for a kitten. We've seen a lot of foster use large dog kennels but of course those are more expensive. For our kitten foster room we also use those foam squares for the floor and it made it soo much easier to clean up than carpet.

If you are concerned about the amount she's not eating, when the neighbour's momma cat was hit by a car, they fed the two kittens with a child's medicine syringe without the needle of course. It helped get them through until they could eat soft kitten food.

First, don't grab the kitten and pull out from its safe nest. don't force anything! Especially don't force feeding!! It doesn't do any good. I fostering a scared female cat, Csirip, and I don't force her to eat and certainly don't pull her from her nest.

Cats are intuitive. Why are you forcing it to eat? They can injured themselves by swallowing incorrectly. The kitten will instinctively eat the wet food when it's READY. This is so crazy! Please don't use the rubber mat you cut up for any cat. I had a cat die from an intestinal obstruction because she would scratch it. The pieces she tore got stuck on her claws and she swallowed them. She died a horrible death. It was the exact rubber flooring you cut and used.
