@@napoleonbuonaparte8975 It's possible, but if Rin's considered a better actual combatant than him and Bazett shocks Rin with her strength, I think I'd bet on her in a straight up fight, or at least on Kirei knowing that and trying to deny her one.
I imagine the scene going like this:
Bazett: Hello old friend, I recived your call. Do you need a hand for something?
Kotomine: Oh, for sure. *A hand will be certainly useful.*
The "What if Bazett had remained as Lancer's Master?" timeline is a pretty interesting prospect. Fragarach seems pretty broken conceptually but Ataraxia shows how it's kind of hard to use without being able to manufacture the circumstances where Servants are willing to direct their Noble Phantasm at her specifically. How it would interact with something like Heracles passive-type NP or Gil's Gate of Babylon would be kinda of concerning too. Still, you'd have a top-tier Servant with Cu and Bazett could very plausibly 1-v-1 any other Master there. They would definitely need some strategies - particularly for Berserker - but they're certainly generically powerful enough to win the Grail War.
It outright would fail against both because neither are their strongest. Zerker would have to use nine lives and Gil would have to use Ea. Legit neither would happen.

@@AscendtionArc it’s called the “ace-killing joker” so I’d assume it needs their ace which would be their strongest.

If it meant we got Hollow Ataraxia as a result? I'll allow it... Because you already know it Bazett was allowed in during Stay Night or UBW most of the battles would be over before it even starts. It's one thing for someone like Cu to have a proper Master, but when that Master has hands, magecraft and a whole ass causality warping NP, barring Heracles who is even living through that WITHOUT plot armor?
Well Gilgamesh. As always he is the ultimate counter to Cu & Bazett.
If Cu lasted 12 hours - I think Bazett would last 12 minutes on a dream.
I also think Beserker like you mentioned is another counter to this duo.
And lastly another would likely be a Artoria with a actually good master.
Other than that. Medea , Rider , Both (false/true) assassin. Likely stand no chance.
@@nevagongoflawless6340Yeah, Cu & Bazett has far less of a chance VS Gil than Cu alone. It's a bit of Illya and Herc situation, Cu would have to start blocking or taking hits for her he could have easily dodged. And her trump card would only work if Gil pulled out Ea, which in a fight where he has such a massive advantage is VERY unlikely. Cu's 12 hour last stand could very well last 12 minutes once Bazett is in the equation.
@@notenoughsoul1069 Exacto and it's especially the Illya - Beserker situation that alludes to us that Gilgamesh morally doesn't care about muh "honor" & master targeting- very unlike most in the war unironically.

@miruthunkannan3872 well I think she would be smart enough to just kill Illya. You would think as an enforcer she would operate a lot like Kiritsugu and just kill the masters.
@@montyawol You cant “just” kill Illya, even Gil with his weapons and all had to go through Heracles to get to Illya. If you’ve read HA it’s also pretty apparent that she isn’t a very effective master killer and even in HA when she tries to get to Illya with Mango ,Heracles intervenes and has them running for their lives. I don’t think that would change, lancer or no.
@@montyawol No. It's not in character for Bazett to kill in character unless necessary. Like mentioned F/HA for example. Sure Illya would provide that necessity. But Mini-Magus's stacked upon a almost endless mana supply - To a Beserker who actively protects Illya. If necessary from all threats well. Frankly. The only reason Tokiomi & Kayneth would register as threats due to them excelling in magecraft primarily & understanding the leylines as a threat. I wouldn't be able to say that Kiritsugu or Bazett would quite grasp that as Rin didn't even though she is younger. Despite that the biggest disadvantage is Hercules and frankly.. Bazett & Cu are not getting past that.
@nevagongoflawless6340 it seems to me that if you fight in a holy grail war its natural to do whatever it takes to win. Even if you wouldn't normally kill a mage, every strategy is viable and on the table.

Not necessarily she thought she could trust Kirei due to the fact that they worked several missions together but she didn’t understand that Kirei who is basically the exact opposite of Shirou gets pleasure from suffering and under normal circumstances she would waste Kirei which is why he attacked her after she summoned Cu

@@JohnShepherd117 that's not true. Kirei straight up tells her that he isn't normal and that something is wrong with him and he isn't a good person. She even senses that he is someone bad yet she ignores that. She was down bad for kirei and really thought "if I can make this man fall for me then I will be happy."
