@@tinmaninc2023 can you run the pellet stove vent pipe horizontal like for instance a 4-foot run under the deck along the wall in order to clear the deck
99% of our installs do not have an outside air kit on them. We are in Newfoundland, Canada which is an island in the Atlantic Ocean and in our experience the salty air going into the stove is trouble. There are times we still to use it for clearances issues but when we do we recommend the customers close off the vent in the off season.
@@gsquare8585 Unless the stove is in a small space of a new home I really don't think its necessary. We don't use outside air on dryers or range hoods and they move just as much air out or more then a pellet stove.
I guess I’m following up on the previous question. I’m installing a pellet stove in my garage. It’s a 24x24 garage with a finished wall and ceiling and a finished room over the garage. I’m trying to heat the garage only when I’m working in it. That time I want to increase which is the reason for the stove. I’m in NH and in the winter…it’s simply to darn cold to work out there. So, do I need to be concerned about a vented air intake or, will the room design itself provide adequate fresh air intake! One of my concerns is sawdust being sucked back into the fresh air intake. Last question…my outside is vinyl siding. Can I safely use that second exhaust piece you showed or, will that project too much hot exhaust against the vinyl to be a safe install? Thanks for any help….I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time warmly in my garage!!👍🏻😊
That was far from "pellet stove venting being explained." Purposely miss titling his weak sauce salespitch. This video will teach you absolutely nothing. Skip it.
Seriously.... you must be a negative by nature person all the time.... this video does what it says....it explains pellet venting..... slips, elbows, colors lengths its all there and explained.
Can you install DirecTV vent pipe pellet stove underneath outside deck
Under a deck I believe the clearance around a vent is 36" to combustibles.

@@wildwoodtop you can but you need to have more rise then run. The stoves manual should have a chart on the limitations of the vent.
I have a Harman 52 IC
