Gotta love the scrap-pile engineering on Deere Power. You certainly have the knack for garnering extra "ponies" out of the shop certified precision engineered power plants in the pulling tractors. The cash outlay in your "toys" is just a fraction of the high-dollar competition. Hope you and the family had a happy Thanksgiving. Even though life has its challenges, I find myself thankful for simple things in life the Lord has granted me.
Hope you and your family had a great thanksgiving 🦃 We have sure gone cold here in Michigan. Can't complain it was a beautiful fall here. See ya for church later on today.
Hey Bill. Thanks for taking us along with ya today. We are going to be in the mid 20’s tonight. I made a trip over to my Mom’s house today, to do a little winterizing myself. I believe I have antifreeze, in every thing, that needs it. I think you found the problem, with the water injection, on Spirit of Deere Power. Glad it was a simple fix. Y’all stay warm and safe. Have a great weekend. 👍😎
Yeah hey Bill, just thought maybe if you had some corn whiskey that would keep it from freezing and it would help your tractor start in the spring and might even help you when you hook it to the sled but there for a while. I thought maybe Snoopy had gotten some of it t. Anyway, remember next time you come to Tennessee you got my address
Jeez, we not only check everything, I am usually the one that has to test everything for freeze point. Just working stuff, no pulling rigs. And it's rare to ever use water to refill anything, almost always antifreeze. Honestly, if we ever get to the point that -20° antifreeze isn't enough, I am moving further South!
Went to drain the radiator on my H this weekend. The plug was stuck and I cracked the casing around it trying to remove it. Has this ever happened to you and do you have any advice on a fix? Weld? Replace the head? Don’t know how to find a good one.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 Thanks so much. I'm going to try an epoxy repair / stitch combo and see how it goes. If it fails, I'll be in touch. Appreciate your reply.
Enjoyed the video buddy. God bless you

520 still is in the same spot. Is that a New Holland garden tractor? My boys and I are checking the radiators too! That time of year.

Great idea!
It's -30 already here in Saskatchewan Canada. And a couple feet of snow

Yep, winter is coming.
Our turbo is only 2.7 but it makes 1200 hp.

Wow, so sorry that happened. Sometimes welding or brazing is your best way to go, but if you want a good used head, I think I have one.
