My grandfather was a carpenter his whole life. Old school carpenter that actually used hand saws. Did everything from framing to fine cabinetry. He never sharpened both ends. I'll continue to do it the way he showed me.

15 minutes early is on time. Now as for sharpening the pencil...to each his own. I do it differently...as we all do.
