I tend to like the Iron Fist from Avengers: EMH a bit more. He feels more down to earth and endearing. That's not to say the Ultimate SM version isn't likeable, but I feel like Danny in Avengers is more a person rather than a cliched caricature of a martial arts master.
I agree the Iron fist from Avengers EMH sounds more mature than the Iron fist from Ultimate Spider-Man.

While the Ultimate Spider-Man series had its flaws, one of its highlights were the episodes giving Spider-Man's teammates their backstories. The White Tiger and Iron Fist episodes are two I can even rewatch.

I want the Netflix iron fist to get a costume. And become a laid back, cool guy. He should become a more mature, humble character who only speaks when the occasion arises.

Iron Fist is the only reason I began to watch Ultimate Spiderman on Netflix. Then I quit when I realized they would almost never use him and make him say everything through riddles. Thank God he'll be getting his own Netflix series.

Listen, I think both of you are taking it too far. It's certainly not the best Marvel-Netflix series, but far from everything the critics said as well - like I said in another video, the critics did point out the show's correct weak spots, but exaggerated too much. Personally, I liked it.
As an Iron Fist fanboy, the show didn't deliver many things I was hoping for, and this is due to many small silly mistakes that can be translated into a single big one: it ignores the fantasy that should've made it great and unique too much. Not enough to not have any of it, but enough to keep both classic fans and the regular audience exasperated.
However, it does deliver a legitimately good story, even if it takes at least 3 episodes to find its pace. The core characters are between fine and great, and at the very least it didn't scrap all of its fantastic mysticism, only teased it, which means that even though we were underwhelmed by it this time around, all that was teased can still show up in the future. Hopefully it gets renewed for a second season in which Marvel, Netflix and Scott Buck embrace the fantasy to make the show great. They've certainly learned their mistakes from that ton of overly negative reviews. These are my 2 cents on the matter.
Iron Fist is a tad better than Lukewarm Cage. Hell, I'm more inclined to give Iron Fist an award just for triggering lefties.

I love this character because of his motivational attitude and martial arts bruce lee style stories.
I really hope (I don't think it will happen but its netflix so its possible) that they will show all his powers besides the signature red/yellow energy iron fist punch... People underrate him cause they don't know too much about him but he seriously is on par with Ironman...

I think the official lore says Iron Fist is stronger in terms of raw power, but Shan Chi is slightly better in terms of martial arts.
