Brother I love the fact that you have stayed the same since the beginning. You talk about bikes and actually work on them..... All other motorcycle channels are about sponsors and new bikes ...bla bla bla. Hats off to you sir........my favorite channel because your real
Did you happen to see Dave Perewitzs build for born free this year?? It's a pretty cool build.. he found a original Ness digger frame and put a first generation twin cam a engine & transmission into it. Motor went from 88 to 124" and he installed a baker 6 speed gearset into the 5 speed case.. of course the paint is killer but the entire bike is really cool. Has carbon fiber wheels and all kinds of really great parts.. Perewitz hasn't done a completed video of it since the last video was right before the bike was leaving for California, but on his and Jody's channel they've showed some videos of it.. just discovered that they had a channel recently and they have some pretty cool interviews on there with all kinds of people
I'm running a jockey shift on a 95 soft tail for about 20 years and I love it I just used the front shift arm and made my own shift arm I have gotten a lot of compliments on it
I'll repeat what i said before... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BIKE?!?!! LOL... nah is all seriousness that is pretty cool man. Did turn out pretty clean as well.
Corey, I always said a "mind" is a terrible thing to waste. You can bet I'll never be the one stealing one of your bikes, but hey this video was a lot of fun to watch and if you're happy so be it. You take care and be careful. Thanks for Sharing!
I did a DIY Oil Cooler on my 95 Fatboy. Drill and tap the end plates on the Crash bar. Then I used a Jagg Oil Filter Adapter. It also adds about a extra Qt of Oil capacity.
In '06 did foot clutch on a build with 113 Ultima, hardtail 6" dogbones with18" apes. Like learning to ride all over again. I agree no one was gonna steal it cause they didn't know how to ride it. Too much motor on mine, left a couple of marks on road & in my shorts on hard take offs. Just held on for dear life! Oh and opep belt primary too.
Hey, friend, I really like watching your videos on nostalgia modifications. I have exactly the same model. Sorry, I'm writing through a translator. Greetings, Pawel from Poland.
I have the same Prism kit on my 04 Road King. I also have a Recluse clutch system f that helps with stop and go traffic. I ran the foot cluctch jockey shif on my 78 Troublehead for 6 years, so I was use to it.
Corey, i started riding a jockey in 1970, up until i bought my 06 Deluxe. It was my first foot shift as well as electric start !!! Although i do like a jockey, i don't think I'd ever go back !! Lol. Good luck !!!!!!!
Great to see another pal joining the suicide shifter fam. I put the shifter on my fxsts last year and the riding with it is completely different experience, takes some to time to learn, but i love it. Mine wasnt a bolt on kit tho, it was a kit meant for shovelhead with floorboard pads and it was meant to have an aretation. I needed to cut my existing pegs base a little and then reweld some parts of the clutch pedal.
Now you need to put an air shifter on that scooter and blow every ones mind when you take off. They know you have a foot clutch handshift but will never figure out how you shift it to sound like an automatic transmission. Amazing how much easier a 5 speed shifts than a 4 speed. One final note if you had been riding since the 60's you would never go back to a footclutch hand shift bike, but I enjoy your enthusiasm. Kinda like the first time I rode a footshift hand clutch bike. Later.
Good video man. I use the Prisim Supply Slingshot clutch and break controls on my 2 shovelhead choppers and I love them. I'm glad you installed one on your evo, it caused me to set down and order one for my evo chopper as well. Stay safe Tramp
@@SaddleTrampTV Oh Yeah do it. I wanted to put a kicker on my Sportster but my HD mechanic 🧰 said no it would be a waste of money 💰. have same bike & l dont run a oil cooler & l ride in some very hot weather here Down Under... motor runs fine.... looks like fun but think l will stick to me hand clutch speicly now lm in City of Perth..lol.. cheers great vid mate
Do a video on installing that oil cooler on the shovelhead. Im going to put a oil cooler on my shovelhead soon would be nice to have a video of it. Don't worry about oil temp on the evo on a hot day. temp doesn't go over 205 . Mine doesn't .
Replaced bushings on boot shifter several times on my ‘97 Fatty. This is intriguing for tighter shift. Thinking I’m too old and beat up to be comfortable with it 🧐.
Hey Amigo dig all your videos looking for video on front brake caliper rebuild on that ol' sporty ironhead, I got a '75 xlh1000 that's leaking from caliper. Thanks Dave
That’s cool Corey. I thought about a jockey shift on my 02 Night Train or custom 93 Fatboy but talked myself out of it with the crazy drivers here in the city.
Great video man.! my left hand is giving up the ghost & I was considering converting to FC. & install a sidecar eventually as my old mobile (61 yo Aussie) You’ve convinced me that when the time comes I will do it to my ‘93 flstc, but I’d prefer a tank shift. Any suggestions there.? Thank you ;)
looks like you could have mounted the new part to the frame first then the stock plate mount then the spacing would not have changed? or am I missing something?
I'm not sure if this was addressed in the comments but I was wondering if you put your oil cooler back on. I have the exact same Jagg oil cooler on my 1996 FLSTN Heritage Special (basicly a 2 year newer versionof your bike, just painted green and silver). Before the cooler on a hot day here on Long Island after a long ride It would get up to 210 degrees. After installing it I am getting consistent 170 to 175 degrees in same weather which I thought was an amazing drop in temperature. I'm wondering if you saw similar results.
I haven't reinstalled it. With the cooler, mine would run between 130 to 150 degrees with 60w oil. After learning that evos were designed to run 180 to 220, I've left it off.

My old hard tail EVO chopper was a suicide shift. Fun to ride, but man, that was dangerous at times .
You sir, are an optimist. “They wouldn’t sell them if they didn’t work” I hope it all works great for you.

You're a crazy man with that foot clutch obsession tbut keep on rockin in the FREE world ..
Hahaha yeah I guess so.
I enjoyed the video. I'm interested in maybe doing this to a 2004 Road King.👍
Move your coil to the motor mount.
That is supposed to let more air to the rear jug.😊
Good job little buddy!
Thanks, Robert!
I really don't think I could remember to scratch my head and rub my belly at the same time. I'm too use to the clutch Lever great video I enjoyed it.

Nice. I've looked at the kit from prism supply has me thinking
I’m running Jockey shift on an old Royal Enfield. My dream is to make a big twin evo and run it the same. Stoked on this one!
Glad you like fun times ❤! Ride free in America 🇺🇸
Looked fairly simple install. Will get one of these and try it out.👍

Yay another video so glad to see you posting again
Feels good to have another one up.
I have been considering a foot clutch for my 95 FLHR. Baker makes N1 conversion which should make a foot clutch easier. Maybe next winters project.
I like the shirt amigo, very good🤘
Thanks! The Mrs surprised me with it for Christmas last year.
I'm diggin that shirt!

Take off the soft fairings which are made for cold weather. More air will get to the motor. Put a kicker on her. That would be awesome!

Thats a nice set up from prism. I've been waiting years for something so easy to install. Looks better without the oil cooler. Nice job corey.
Yeah I think so too. Thanks

Thanks man. Trying to keep it real for the most part.
I couldnt ride like that hats off to you.. it must be so daunting at first 😂
You get use to it.
Awesome video, Saddle Tramp!! Love the new setup.
Been rewatching this vid, really dig this set up! My ol man wants to do the same on his evo. Too cool!
Make it happen then!
Try calling ultra cool for a oil cooler. They have a kir that mounts on the front of the bike below the regulator. Talk to JJ he is extremely helpful.
Do a video on installing that oil cooler on the shovelhead. Im going to put a oil cooler on my shovelhead soon would be nice to have a video of it.

Great job. Another great video 👍👍
Dude !! You gotta make available for sale the Saddletramp shirt !!
It's just a one of kind custom shirt the mrs had made for me for Christmas last year.
@@SaddleTrampTV telling ya, they would sell like hotcakes lol !!
I guess you could shoot with left hand and leave it in 2nd gear most of the time. That would take a lot of practice to hit anything.
Good video, just purchased one for my 07 fatboy. Thanks
I need that shirt Corey
Nice man, make it your own style.
Hey where can we get one of your new tshirts you’re wearing?
It's a one of a kind I got for Christmas.
It definitely needs some kind of wild shift knob.
Be careful, ride safe.
I like it looks cool
Well what could be next...Ironhead with a jocky shifter?? By the way I see you got back to basics pretty quick.
Being a right side shift, I doubt it.
Awesome!!!
Thanks, movie star!

Did you do a bunch of heat-cycles, etc., and an oil change before that first ride?
From southern California ~ Ride Forever! 🦅
It's already broke it a year and a half ago.
Man I could really use ur help
Really cool
I'm not sure why you would do this to a perfectly good bike, but if you like it God bless!
I know, right? I don't know whats wrong with me. I tend to pick things usually that's not always in my best interest
Interesting

Look around on ebay perhaps. That's where I find most of what I'm looking for.
Stranger :P
You're nuts dude!! LOL In a good way. :)
Thanks!🙃
Could you maybe run the oil cooler across the bike instead of upright?
No. The mounts only allow for it to be vertical.
looks like you could have mounted the new part to the frame first then the stock plate mount then the spacing would not have changed? or am I missing something?
Maybe. I'll have to go out and look.
😎👍😎
Hey buddy.....I got a 98 Fatboy, do you like the Primo setup? I live in NC, Primo is like 45 min from me. Thanks and thanks for the vids.

try ditching the lower soft fairings and you should run cooler.

"Live to Die - Die to Live"? Dude, you seriously need to get rid of that patch!
A good brother gave me that.
Not for me. But I'd use one on a trike
What kind of handle bars are they have same bike size make
They have a 12" rise.
Instructions would’ve been nice for the cable issue
A little trial and error and it went right in.
Surprised you run with those covers on the engine guards if concerned about oil temps
No problems thus far. In the hotter months they come off.
round peg goes in a square hole. now put square peg round hole
Will do! Lol
I like the t shirts, are they for sale?
Just a custom shirt my wife made for me for Christmas.

No way I need both feet on the ground when I'm stopped.
I hear ya.
Lol
Cool but dosnt look right on anything thats not a chopper
Why???????? All you need now is a fake kicker.
