That's not necessarily true. [spoiler] G'raha narrated both shb trailers and Ardbert was our narrator in game.
It’s seriously perfect. He was the undisputed most powerful mage of ancient Amaurot. We were his first and only loss in a fight. Also, he’s a man of his word when it comes to bargains. He’s in favor of us, after all, “the victor shall write the tale, and the vanquished - become its villain”. We won, he’s paying up like a true man of his word.
Got to hand it to the evil monster army, they clearly have an AMAZING dental plan.

Emet narrated the retelling of Amarot's final days, so it makes sense that he narrates our trip through ours.
I hate how they took a character that I hated and turned him into a character that I'm legit gonna cry over if he dies. 😭

We all thought the endwalker logo was a ship to the moon, but ACTUALLY this shows it's a ship to the world.

The only reaction I have been waiting for.
I think Alphinaud will be the new member (leader?) of the Forum replacing his father (maybe he will die or something). So the new stories will be with Alisaie and G'raha (maybe Estinien too) by our side and the other Scions will just be support sometimes.
@@notting2640 technically estenie , ghara and aliese more honorary memebers then full memebers why i could see them continuing with us. But estinen my stay back wjth alph assuming he does take over father position
I'm calling none of them actually die, but the Scions as a body disband. Alphi/Yhsol/Uri/Tataru stays in Sharl to help rebuild, Alis/Thancred/Graha/Eins goes wandering swords.
I have a terrible feeling bitchboi is a shard Ascian of the WoL though...

The crystal area kinda reminds me of the Crystal World in FFIX.
Everyone saying FF4, but I'm seeing a LOT of FF9 here.
Pandaemonium, the dark/fleshy/biometal that looks like Garland's fortress, the Ascian mask scenes that remind me of the record room in...was it Olivert or Ipsen's Castle? The place where magic use is blocked that Kuja sends Zidane + 3 to go grab the relic from the Arc? The whole end of the world/replacing your people and world with another is also very much like FF9, as is how Garland oversaw the repository of Terran souls until they could convert Gaia to Terra and be reborn there.
All of that vibes pretty well with ShB and looks like will with EW as well.
I can see the FF4 allusions, but I think there's a lot of FF9 here that's being overlooked as well.

Its a good trailer but Im glad I watched it after playing EW (for anyone wondering its not a huge deal just some cool reveals that are pretty fun ingame)
The voice at the end, after Elidibus speaks, is the guy who you hear speak earlier who is presumably some sort of Garlean... Legatus? Not that I know his rank from a glance, he just looks like one generally. Anyway, not Zodiark.
(Interestingly enough, the voice we hear in the English trailer isn't Elidibus, it's Fandaniel and then... someone else? Before Emet closes it out with his narration.)

They screen was split into every character *but* Alphinaud as he said “tomorrow is never promised”, on a game with heavy FFIV references (and in FFIV one of two twins died on the moon)
They’re telegraphing it so hard that it makes me think it has to be a misdirect because I’ve never seen such a clearly telegraphed death flag

@@vbarreiro Personally I think he's going to rally people to keep on fighting on the planet while we fight Zodiark on the moon. There are more death flags than what have been shown here. Some near the end of MSQ and some even in Sage's abilities.
This trailer is wild. There is a chance that we might actually lose one or both of the Twins, and it also looks like it‘s us that summon Zodiark. If that Cosmos looking lady is actually representing Hydaelin, im sorta disappointed, ngl, i wanted to see Minfillia one last time. With the end of this saga, I don‘t think we‘ll ever see her again.
Also pls Yoshi-P give us some small side stories about our friends in Norvrandt at least a few.
I truly believe that we will lose Krile in Endwalker. Krile and Urianger have the biggest death flags over their head imo.

This was a reaction with the live letter. The live letter always shows content in Japanese. If you want to hear it in English just look it up on ff14's UA-cam channel

I just have 1 simple question.. How tf is Emet narrating if he's dead?? These were quotes never heard before in game so we can't assume flashback or anything like that. Is it possible that he Will come back to help us? Did he truly forseen what Will happen?

It is Meteor. Look at whole scene. It basically does the thing that cinematic for Shadowbringers did with going through every chapter before. I think this scene even might be exclusive to the trailer.

Heavy Spoiler Alert until, well the current content and speculation to EW, now you know
I place a bet on 2 things: with the Apocalypse at least 1 other scion will unlock the Echo because it's the reason of his activation, Like Emet and Elidibus Explained, Zenos start to awake it too since he has visions of apocalypse in his dreams (more over we have some mobs who was only in Amaurot who appears)
And, since WoL Echo is more Powerfull, Thordan AND Elidibus saw in us something else than a Human, the union between Ardbert and WoL souls who were shards of the same ascian one and Most Importantly the Azem Crystal, the only Ascian crystal to not have been given to Elidibus and all the things Azem did, he was a Wanderer between the Ascian, the one who was agaisnt Zodiark And Hydaelyn (for me, in EW we will fight Zodiark AND Hydaelyn, because if Hydaelyn stay after Zodiark death the light will become too powerfull) show for me the fact the WoL wil become a Full Ascian, like this he will be able to fulfill his promise to Emet Selch, and could explain his unusual powers too (Elidibus say you awakened the old magic when you summon allies against him a Magic only Ascians were able to use)
there is simply no way alphi lives through the next expansion with that ending

When can I get to this part of the story? I'm already 58 and I can barely read another sleeper dialogue. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or Im playing the game wrong. What is the goal of this game? I'm baffled how many people are hyping this game or whatever rhis is
ARR is the ground base of the story. Think of it as an orientation of sorts that introduces you to Eorzea. Post ARR things will get interesting, which the whole ffxiv story starts to picked up and leads to heavensward and so on. So keep going to know whats going on in the game, i guess. Thats one way to find out why people are hyping this game 🍻
This is going to be the newest expansion. The expansion will begin at level 80. The goal of the game is simply to play with people and get immersed into the story. It's a lot of reading to get through while many are okay with reading a lot some aren't it might just not be the right game for you

I’m almost certain it’s Hydaelyn’s heart, Venat. She has an Ascian mask on her chest during one scene. The WoL is Azem 8 times rejoined so not sure how it could be Azem.
