on the "you've changed part" I am hearing maybe a quick passing D add 9? chord. The song uses those open strings chiming that was jhs style. for instance it sounds to me like the intro is actually Am7 with pinky on high E on 3rd fret G? the pre chorus part that you are playing I think might be a little off cause the bass line i hear I think goes C, B, A rest then D, C, B but it is tricky bc CH plays slightly different voicings and chords from what JHS is playing. I would have to listen to it again. however there are parts that I think you have spot on. I think your picking is great and gets it close. Also the Verse section I think goes b7, G, Am7 D with the added embellishments and then on last line goes to B7 Em7, Am7, D. Thanks. I think your sound is very good. Are you running your effects in the order as presented and what is an AC tone? What delay, what chorus, etc? Thanks.
thanks for the insight - i'll have to listen again :-) i have to agree - i want more chiming haha - the ACtone is an AC simulator (or pedal) - supposed to mimic a vox - yes, in order
Hi there, thank you for the kind words. I am almost embarrassed to say that I only used the microphone of the camera, and plugged the guitar into an fender acoustic amp but using a blackface amp-in-a-pedal simulator, then a compressor, tube screamer, delay and chorus. A lot of the tone i think is just the Tele itself (with Fender Noiseless Pickups).

Pretty good, not quite right but pretty good.
Thanks for the kind comments...are you referring to the picking?
Great tone! what setup do you use for recording?

Although this song was not recorded with a Rick, it should have been.
