As an Aussie, I can re-assure everyone that the Streets confectionery company deliberately used that slogan.
This icecream was first released in 1959 with the name Golden Gaytime, and while the term "gay" may have changed meaning three times, they kept the name and just used it as a marketing ploy. :)

Molly Polly the bottom of the wooden pop has all the best bits..I miss KFC's Golden Gaytimes, the only thing I got from them and always asked for extra Gaytimes and source. I'm not fat nor skinny, I exercise but as a kid I always loved food especially Icecream after dirt bike riding!

"Spread eagle" is a position where you're lying down with your legs and arms spread wide. So it's maybe an obvious image, but a kinda awkward one nonetheless, for a company specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology.
