you definitely got the melancholic feeling in be calm (someone said the best translation for the title is growing numb). it's a song that she wrote and co-composed with park woosang (who also directed the mv and the kid in the mv is his son). she wrote this song for her uncle whom she is very close to who has sadly passed away in an accident.
Wanted to add that Be Calm was filmed/produced by Park Woosang because Hwasa found out that PWS was into filming and asked him to film Be Calm MV for her. Blonde Solar kills me.. that’s why she became my bias wrecker. Paint me- it’s one of my favorite Mamamoo b-sides and I think is very underrated. The “the Best” album aka greatest hit’s album has re-arranged versions of their titles and some b-sides. Yellow Flower is the album where we get vocalist Byul. Before that, it was her in harmony or her solo song on Purple that was Mamamoo ft Moonbyul… This 4 seasons/4 colors was such a big project for them. It is almost impossible for them to be completely serious with that beagle energy. While they have official choreography, when performing they are known for adlibbing a bit which is why when they have done random dance of their own songs on weekly idol they fail in the best way.
Paint me is my favorite from this album and one of my favorites of theirs. And recently as in a few weeks ago, from the Hwasa TV show, Mamamoo did a live set with 1ellella live a medley of songs, then each member did a solo and they ended with Paint Me live with a live band, so you can hear them do Paint Me live 2023 and it is even better now. The Hwasa show video is called Mamamo Hit Songs Live Collection. Also the 1llella has a very different start and a completely different dance break from the MV. Totally good.

They said, their colors represent different stages of love. Especially, you would like their live performances and defferent versions of their songs too. I really enjoyed it. Since 4S4C Project is represented by each member, they have used the 4 colours and the 4 stages of Love. Yellow - Spring, also, the start of Love. That's the reason why there are songs about different types of love. e.g. Rude Boy (start of a bad love), and Spring Fever (where they all wanted to get into a relationship because they mentioned that Spring is the time people wanted to fall in love) In the reaction for the next 3 albums, you'll be able to see how they interpret Love as Red (passion), Blue (breakup), and White (nostalgia).
Also, the ending of Yellow Flower is Paint Me, which is actually a prerelease and introduction of the 4S4C Project, which got everyone excited and looking forward to these 4 albums! No one knew who would be representing what at that time, and during the media showcase, the reporters mistook what MMM said and reported that MMM will be releasing 4 albums, 1 in each season. And RBW just rolled with that and so the girls were worked so hard to push 3 albums in 2018 and 1 in 2019, so totally 4 in 12 months..
Fun fact: Their dance practices are always like that. If I'm right, maybe they've 2 normal dance practices. They're so funny and their videos are so much fun.

Be Calm is the quintessential low budget MV. Park Woo Sang, who helped Hwasa write the song, shot the video. His son is the little boy. The bike was borrowed from another family member. Ahn Hye Jin (Hwasa) is credited as the stylist because she wore her own clothes. The indoor scenes are in her apartment. I heard the budget was something like $12. The song is about her healing after her uncle who she was very close to, died in an automobile accident.
Yellow flower is by far the most cohesive album in terms of songs, vibes and aesthetic, followed by blue;s. Windflower is my favourite title but yellow flower is the creme dela creme of the albums
I don't know, but I suspect other groups have dance practices like this. When other groups release the dance practice video, it's the best, closest to perfect, version of the dance. RBW and Mamamoo gives us these and we love them. When Mamamoo first appeared on Immortal Songs, other acts in the waiting room commented on how free they were with their dance performance unlike how other K-pop groups do rigidly synchronized dances. Those senior Korean performers considered that to be a very good thing. Their choreography isn't intended to become the key part of the performance but to enhance the enjoyment of the song. On stage, they are known to adlib their choreo just like they adlib their lyrics.
