  • Looking for a quick and easy way to get rid of wrinkled clothes without using an iron or steamer? Your answer is Downy Wrinkle Releaser! Just spray the clothing and stretch/lay it out flat and your wrinkles will disappear.

On another side note of doing laundry, do you hate when clothing or bedding sews darks and lights together so you don't have a choice but to wash them together? Just throw a color catcher into the washer and it will stop the color bleeding onto the whites. I have used Carbona Color Grabbers as well as Shout Color Catchers.

No hate here, just mom to mom, this product has quite some chemicals in it. I know sometimes, we just have to get things done fast but I highly recommend, perhaps not spray it when your boy is wearing it. A lot of these chemicals can cause harm when breathed in, adult or child.
Love your laundry room and your content by the way! 😊

I find hanging clothes on a hanger makes a big difference. Wether out of the washer or dryer(keep a bit damp). Just hang on hanger, smoothen and then put them in the closet straight from the line once dry. 2 in 1!

Hahahaha I laughed so hard when you were spraying your son's shirt in the laundry room around 2:10 and then you sprayed his hair and styled it. For a second I genuinely thought you were using it on his hair too 🤣

If you soak a garment that may “ bleed”onto another part of the garment in white vinegar and water for 2 hours then wash as usual it will never bleed… including dark jeans

@@HappyLife-nf7wb if I’m doing jeans I just put cold water in the bathtub ( enough to submerge them)add like a 16 ounce or so bottle of vinegar while the waters running and leave them soaking for 2 hours ( won’t hurt anything if they soak longer) then remove and wash them as you normally would I’ve done shirts that were multi colored where I was afraid the red would bleed onto the rest of the garment this has worked for me 100% of the time… good luck 😊

The industry use acid dyes, so using vinegar to soak will adhere soooo much more of the dye to the fabric, hence less colour bleeding 🙂

The key is to take clothes out of the wash immediately! I hang most of my clothes out on a line, you have to shake/snap clothes before hanging on a line. I rarely iron clothes, and rarely use the dryer.

I make a DIY version that I put in my wrinkle release bottle: 1T. White vinegar, 1t. Cream rinse, 2C. Warm water. Combine in spray bottle and shake well. Since this cost pennies compared to nearly $5 for the Wrinkle Release I don't feel guilty and use it often. Spray and finger press pleats or collars. Spray curled hems and stretch slightly, hanging to dry. NO MORE IRONING!

If you want to recycle colour catchers:
1st use them for washing lighter colour first and then go to red and to dark. You can use them this way at least 3 times.
2nd soak used dark coloured colour catchers in bleach through night and wash them with water. Use them for red and darker clothes.

It can and will go into their eyes or mouth and even more importantly their SKIN WHICH IS THR LARGEST ORGAN IN YOUR BODY AND ABSORBS EVERYTHING! Laundry products are known endocrine disrupters and these poor kids growing up are having a hard enough time without someone purposely spraying chemicals on them. It’s called a dryer or an iron, just use it. 😳

Just take the clothes out of the dryer when the buzzer goes off, fold or hang up...no wrinkles. Or hang them up when damp. NO CHEMICALS NEEDED. AND BTW WHY THE HECK ARE YOU SPRAYING THAT STUFF ON YOUR KIDS?

I don't think spraying your family with chemicals is a good idea at all. If you shake out and hang clothes on hangers straight after washing, no ironing required.. Much healthier too.
