Still and Box? Never heard that type before. Further north in Detroit we have Still Alarms and Box Alarms, but they are separate things. Usually, a Still alarm is transmitted when there is an unconfirmed fire report and typically when its phoned in. This response brings 1 Engine or 1 Engine and 1 Truck. A Box alarm is transmitted when a fire report is confirmed either by call in, by a company on scene or if a fire alarm/box is pulled. That results in 3 engines, 1 truck, 1 ambulance, 1 squad and 1 battalion being sent.

We have still alarms which is for a reported fire so two engines two trucks and a chief and then we have You're working fire which brings the squad the command van EMS two more battalion chiefs a rit truck company. Then we have a stolen box which is in addition which gives you another two engines one truck one tower ladder two Chiefs. And then after that the increments are 2-11/3-11/4-11/5-11/and anything after a 5-11 is a special call
