I bought a Jubilant about a month ago when the stores finally got some stock. I absolutely LOVE this machine! I can't believe I suffered with a low end base level old machine for so long. I think I am actually remembering why I like to sew in the first place. I'm probably an advanced beginner. But I have no doubt this machine will grow with me for some time.
Why did my jubilant stop working after 4 months? I had an error code for foot pedal so I purchased a new pedal still didn’t work. Worked one day and not the next
I would like to buy my 9 year old daughter her first sewing machine for Christmas. Is this "too much" machine for her? I was originally considering the Joy, but have started looking at this one too.
Anita McHale Yes I feel that way too. Seems like it. pulls out very easy. I have had mine for over three months and still don’t feel that comfortable with it. I know it probably will in time. Had an high end Elna before and still have it. But it is over 40 years old.
Fabulous I love my Janome sewist. I didn't know about the overcast stitch. Thank you so much.

I bought my Jubilant at my local Sew and Vacuum store. would I still be able to sign up for your classes? I wouldn't mind paying a subscription.

Not sure why they did not put an automatic scissor thread
cut on this machine.
Beginner sewer here...I love my Jubilant. The only "complaint" I have is that it doesn't have the automatic thread cutter.
Yes it has a thread cutter on the side of the machine. Use it all the time.
I meant an automatic thread cutter
Sidra Boshes , I agree I have a Singer Quantum 9960. I love the auto cutter. I feel I am using a lot of thread on the jubilant.
Anita McHale Yes I notice I use a lot more thread with the Jubilant too.

I didnt seebany classes
wow just about every machine has a thread cutter.
It does have a cutter, but some machines have an automatic cutter so you don't have to pull the piece away to cut the threads.
@@nicoles7126 sorry I was going by someone elses comment that said hers did not have a thread cutter. mine is on the inside also of my juki
