- Here is the first installment of two big milestones for myself in the RC aviation hobby. I have taken some time off from flying for almost two months, had to regroup a little. But this is what has inspired me to get back in. Sonic Modell AR Wing Pro is my first factory foam airframe and it will be the ship that gets me into FPV. I am excited to have this on the bench and share it with you. Thank you for watching

Amazing.
Thank you for watching. Do you fly RC?
superbe...Merci pour le retour
You knocked that outta the park!
I think its a keeper. Still has some dialing in to be done, may do that today
great flight BA looked amazing
I like it so far, still needs some tweaking. One flight at a time
nice job : )
Great to see you in the air again. Thing looks robust and flies great. good vid
Robust to say the least. I am sure i would have torn off the wings from the stock mounts hadn't they been taped on. Quite the the bounce though, gotta be a personal best
I think it can deal with a more rearward C of G than the buttons on the underside indicate.
100% it did. After this video was made i ended up creeping the CG back a half inch or so. This took out a some reflex and it was able to land slower as well
Congratulations on getting your wing in the air!
Thank you. The second launch had me nervous after seeing your struggles and what just happened to me lol. How is yours doing?
@@North49RC Well, seeing as I got so fed up with repairing it, I scrapped it and it's guts are going into an AtomRC Dolphin. :)
I really struggled launching side arm as thanks to arthritis I don't have a massively strong grip and over head launches were very hit and miss.
@@Caroline_Tyler You are using Inav in it aren't you? I guess if its scrapped it doesn't matter now lol! It is a big wing, actually bigger then i should have gotten but i will grow into it. I flew it again a couple times today, this mornings flight is uploading, but this afternoons flight had a similar fate on the first launch and the glue is drying as we speak. Should be good as new tomorrow.
However i have been launching in manual mode and both times I ditched it so far was because of not enough throttle. I would like to get a more stable attitude so I might try stabilized mode on launch... not sure if I trust the auto launch yet
@@North49RC iNav 3's auto launch is now so reliable I even maiden with it. Takes away much of the nerves of first launch. I like the fight info from the on-screen display also that iNav gives.
I'm using the same Rx, kopilot and the flysky 6ch. What's cool about that Rx is it does ibus and sbus. I have it running sbus right now into the kopilot. I just have to select sbus in the tx setup.
I did set it up with the R81 to begin with, then i tried the R161, both in the Sbus format. Neither of them would give consistant signal. Sometimes the was signal and sometimes there wasn't. Eventually both failed as Sbus receivers. I put in the tried and true Flysky receiver and it has worked flawlessly. Then I switched out the kopilot for the F405 wse and the ELRS 900 system and it has been great since. I have then moved that into the AR 900 classic and the kopilot is back in the pro with the Flysky. I like to fly the 900 better anyway
🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
Is just white spray paint on the wing? Does it stick, or did u spray primer on it first?
where did you find the CG points?
I am currently sitting on the points with zero reflex. Tail edge is lined right up. Thanks for watching
My first wing looks exactly like this one lol 😆 hope you like quads/multirotor
ouch : (
I did it again this afternoon. Not enough throttle. All glued up and good as new though
