Very well explained Rob :). I went this way immediately after I bought my SPDSX pro. I ran out of steam after I came back to my acoustic set though. The pad setup is very powerful if you get it right for sure.

very interesting ! Can you also change the key easily or do you have to edit each pas individually?
As far as I can tell, unfortunately you have to go into each pad to change the key.
