Great quality and cool armies. Just frustrating to watch easy turn 1 charges in 9th edition. It feels unbalanced and doesn’t respect the actual deployment zone. I miss the days of bigger tables.

The production value is great. You guys have really got something with this. I think some sort of top down footage showing a summary of each of the big 3 phases for each turn would be great.
Was there and issue were the storm surge wasn’t allowed to shoot in combat? Shouldn’t titanic units be allowed to shoot in combat or fall back and shoot?
Interesting matchup. Gonna be honest, wasn't a massive fan of the Tau army here. 9th ed codex did wonders for the armys mobility and the gunlines dont really help show that. Besides that Farsight Enclaves are most terrifying at close range). Was a nice way to show just how overated the hammer heads are. Gun is scary but they fall over to a stiff breeze. Perosnally would have replaced them with more suits. Or another commander. Maybe an Enforcer.
Great battle report and beautifully played by the Genestealer cult player. Definitely appeared over confidence in deployment and lack of screens cost the tau player. Great work by the narrators and editors. It was easy to tell what was going on and there was a great pace to the battle report
@@gulchad8791 It's a neat rule for stopping expensive units being tied up by chaff. It almost means you can never claim to be obscured. Can walk over enemy and friendly models too.
Personally i think the stormsurge is a great backline unit and if they remebered the titanic rule, it would have potentially been a game changer. It was the Hammer heads i would have suggested being replaced by more suits
@@carlzerris6566 Hammerheads are over rated imo, Boardsides do more dmg point for point and are much harder to kill with a 1+ in cover and saviour protocol. If you want to run Hammerheads they need to be screened or deployed at the back of the board, especially since range isn't an issue on them.

Looks to be a very good UA-cam channel with excellent production fellas good work. I couldn't help but notice the lack of terrain but other than that I'm looking forward to content. Imo the game is much more tactical than it has been in the past and I think there should be los blocking for staging and the like for turns to come.

That T'au deployment hurt to watch. It's never a good idea to think you'll go first. Kenny's godly rolls were also not good for the T'au.

lmao why even take the stormsurge at that point, should have had more infantry or crisis suits
They seem to have forgotten Stormsurge are Titanic units, so like Knights they can fallback and shoot with no issue.

To give some honest feedback, think you all need more terrain on that board. Way too many open sight lines, basically a shooting gallery for Tau.
I think so as well, we have a new way of doing terrain in the next one that should be more fun for the players and the viewers!
