Dead battery means dead which will have no voltage at all. Any battery above 10v is ok for use. battery that still shows some voltage may be restored but will not last long. But dead battery means dead cells.

First of all battery company’s itself gives at least 4-5 year warranty for it. Also if this gives that business that every battery shop will have lots of customer base. Also in this business customer repetition is less as one customer won’t connect you after one recharge. May be good in remote area but not successful in metro cities
