This island landing was legitimately sketchy! So glad we pulled it off without busting an ankle. Starting later this week, I will be heading out west for a huge adventure in the toy hauler. Be sure to follow my Instagram for live updates along the way. - instagram.com/tuckergott/
discovered your channel 3days back, seen all videos. thanks for 4k quality, you are living the dream, flying whenever you want . im going to try them myself for sure when i get opportunity
It’s crazy how much happier you are in your life right now. It’s crazy how much someone can hold you back. Keep living life brother and having fun. That’s what life is about
When your hobbies cross paths.. All I could think, seeing those big cobbles was "Where is your gold pan man?". Funs stuff guys. Thanks for sharing the midweek surprise. Tucker you have brought me so much joy during a very difficult period in my life. I can never thank you enough.
I know you've gotten some bad press lately, the 'stache might not help any more than Brian Laundrie buying a wig, but let me say this. This is subtle and many may miss it. Rather than a blind commitment to landing, you FIRST demonstrate a "fly-by" to help sample/determine the real risk of a take off prior to having landed. I think that shows some pretty good headwork. I wish more people approached PPG flying with a similar analysis. I think we'd see a whole lot fewer injuries.
I appreciate that! I was honestly on the fence about the landing for a few minutes. After a couple of fly bys and some analysis, I determined that it was possible. Tight margins but within an acceptable range for me. 😀
My favourite set of words... "I don't know if this is a good idea or a bad idea!?" Anything that transcends the border of those two logics is RIGHT UP MY STREET!!
Things may have been challenging lately for you, glad to see you are enjoying yourself. Thanks for taking time to put these videos out. Fly safe and stay healthy!
I think you should go out there with a boat, and some tools ( axe, shovel, saw...etc) and clear some of the island as a landing strip for PPG. Kinda like a PPG airport
I would not even think about trying to land or take off from that island with my FLPHG. Another reason PPG has become so popular. Doesn’t hurt having all these Risky Biscuit videos either! Thanks for posting 😎
Weather looked amazing there, very like Ireland coming into fall.. Rad flight 🤙🏼 I love your vids when your just buzzing around enjoying life, we must be due a "low n fast shredding up a corn field, feat chase-cam mildred" video soon.. pleeeeeeze 🙏🙏lol. Hasn't been one in a while would make my day! Safe flying as always Tucker ✌🏼🍀
Once again, Tucker, you are demonstrating skills that would give even Bush Pilots nightmares. Bush Pilots with giant coconut sized balls even. Congrats on the perfect spot landing 😉
Not sure if your insinuating he can get some bush. I'm a bush pilot, when bvb ever my wife let's me land. Back to the subject at hand, jokin, it's easy to land in someone's back yard. Within 50 feet. Because it is letting you down easy, as your going forward
Hey Tucker, thanks for another great video. I haven't followed your videos for over a year and you have matured significantly over the past year. Did you do anything to yourself as you now look fabulous. Good Luck
Lol..lmfao..why do u remind me of my elementary school principal in the 80s..lol..love your vids..and i want to get into this hobby sooo much but not sure i have the balls..wanted to be a pilot my whole life because i love planes and now im an old man..keep up the great vid..i was going to take my 9 years old to the park u take off at on the hopes your there so i can show him in person instead of just your vids..
FbleeepK YA Tucker!!! That was a keeper, I love when you do these ADVENTURES man!! Dan killed it and so did you. I have had so much shit weather here in Canada and this vid hit the spot tonight Cheers
Dan's launch looked sketch as heck, if I didn't know the outcome already I would have been like o.m.g.! The spot you chose looked like routine but short take off.
Risky biscuits I love it not to see you get harmed or anything but for you to land somewhere and have fun trying to get out is awesome I'm sure you're going to get out of there just fine
I have to say from the looks of it, your take off was way smoother. His was pretty crazy. Either way that was exciting to see. I wish I could do this now.
Tucker, your just simply a bird. You’ve become so proficient with your paraglider, it seems it has become just an extension of your physiology. Because of that gift, do be careful with complacency.
That was TOTALLY sketch but frick'n awesome none-the-less!! LOL!! Can't wait to see more of your adventures for sure. Hey - what do you or anyone else think about the new/up and coming electric motors out there? The most notable from OPEN PPG. Thanks for great content Tucker! Kevin
THAT WAS SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIck!
Looks like a decent fishing spot! I'm gonna do this and bring some gear with me... catch and release of course. Imaging catching a big fish and trying to fly it back
I’m a private pilot. I mostly hit bugs down low when getting ready to land or in the takeoff but sometimes you hit bugs surprisingly high. I’ve had bugs splatter on the window as high as 10k feet. I figure those are carried up that high in thermals.
What are the rules about taking off and landing on parks, roads, etc.? eg when you landed at Dunkin Doughnuts, was the phonecall tacit permission to land on the grass next to the store?
Thanks, nice flight with friends. Tell us about the 500cc twin, I hope it was 4 stroke water cooled with direct injection, but I fear it was a KTM 2 stroke?

From here on im gunna refer to you as tucker palmer and the freedom fan
Have you ever had a paramotor trip in Arizona. The sunsets here are killer brother. There is such diverse landscapes as well from south to north
Where can we make a suggestion to see things done? I am too old for this but I like watching you do it.
That take off rivals the Great Hotel parking lot launch! I had to replay those takeoffs 😲
What happened with Tucker? They changed the guy with some old mustachioed old fart.

Dude I'm loving the stache.
Thanks so much!
You're making me want to take this hobby up. This looks like a great setup to do some remote camping.
Once again living vicariously through your insanely cool adventures! Thanks for sharing. 🤙🤙

I love that the entirety of the "exploratory" phase was absolutely dominated by stressfully pre-planning your escape route. Bravo!
These are adventure flights the way I like them. 👌
Fantastic video, looked like a great adventure. I love this channel. *smiles* Have a great weekend Tucker & Dan.
DAMN! Yet another Tucker Gott video I havent seen. There goes most of my afternoon watching his videos from facebook again.
I've never seen someone enjoy them-self like you do in your videos. That enjoyment alone is reason enough to watch your videos.

Loving the mustache. Ive been gone for a bit and wow you look different.
I know right. I came back cuz the algorithms haven't been showing me his video, and our boy grew up. Like wtf lol 😆

Stache for the win.

one of dream is to drive a paramotor like that.. One of my bucket list! 😁
Such a wholesome, fun video from a wholesome, fun guy!
Sweet looking takeoff Dan! 🤘
You need to get a Bomber hat to go along with that badass stache brother lol!!
Haha, I think that would complete the look.
or a trucker hat and plaid shirt
winter is coming cant wait to see it!
Great video, Tucker. Amazing how much river geography can change, after major storms. Thanks for sharing. :)

Some PPG bushwork. Nice getting in and out. That was pretty sketchy but sketchy = risky. Nice flying.

I appreciate that you are willing to risk the biscuits while my tolerance is wearing your merch! Happy to represent brother!!

Tucker went from looking like a 12yr old to looking like he shouldn't be allowed around 12yr olds.
I clicked the thumbnail just to say the same. Did he split from J to become an 80s porn star?

Cool seeing my hometown near the end of the video around the 11min mark. No idea why - but pretty cool.
Cool video. Nice little island. Beautiful scenery.

I recognize that island. It's Old Sow Island in the Delaware river!
Loved your editing on this video, especially at the end with your editing program.
Ps, haircut is fitting on you.
1:50, you look like casually hovering over the meadow😎
Keep flying and inspiring bud.
Amazing. I really wanna fly paramotor like you! I have the money for lessons, but buying new equipment may be just a little too costly haha.
Cool flight....risky biscuits! The island is named Old Sow Island.
Dan with the full send was pretty sick.
You're getting a thumbs up for the tache alone.
Incredible. Thank you.
@@TuckerGott are you going to grow it into a mustachio with curled ends? I think they have mustache contests over in europe.

Did you star in the movie sully movie as the city pilot
Rocking the stache, Sir!
That was awesome going along for the take off.
Great video man. Looked so sketchy but u made it look like butter
Excitingly dangerous, glad all ankles survived...!
You should definitely bring stuff to camp on that island for a night..
When there is no rain in the forecast.

There should be an innovative way - have the fan on the top to take off vertically and then the fan can be moved back !!!
You look similar to Donut Operator with the 'stache. Enjoyed it!
I love river islands! Great footage!
Just out of curiosity Tucker, how much extra gear can you carry? It might be fun to land on an island like that and camp for the night.
I think you started your takeoff run in New Jersey and took off in Pennsylvania.

You may be fighting the eagles for that fish up there.
Serious question: Do you hit a lot of bugs in the air? Or do they go away at a certain altitude?
I’m a private pilot. I mostly hit bugs down low when getting ready to land or in the takeoff but sometimes you hit bugs surprisingly high. I’ve had bugs splatter on the window as high as 10k feet. I figure those are carried up that high in thermals.
I mostly hit them low and over crop fields. Really a non issue though 👍
That's the perfect Paramotor adventure right there!
Wow man, that final landing was sick.
Excuse my ignorance. Are there any 2 seaters for this? I'd be cool af to ride and enjoy the weather
If you pass by Pittsburgh on that trike trip you have to take a photo!
Can u fly on the beach again like Destine Florida or so? Thats much nicer than an island that’s nothing but a toilet for boaters!
What are the rules about taking off and landing on parks, roads, etc.? eg when you landed at Dunkin Doughnuts, was the phonecall tacit permission to land on the grass next to the store?
