It is related from Malik al-Dar, `Umar's treasurer, that the people suffered a drought during the successorship of `Umar, whereupon a man came to the grave of the Prophet and said: "O Messenger of Allah, ask for rain for your Community, for verily they have but perished," after which the Prophet appeared to him in a dream and told him: "Go to `Umar and give him my greeting, then tell him that they will be watered. Tell him: You must be clever, you must be clever!" The man went and told `Umar. The latter said: "O my Lord, I spare no effort except in what escapes my power!"" This narration is authenticated by many scholars, such as: 1- Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani says in ("Fath al Bari", 2/495): "وروى ابن أبي شيبة بإسناد صحيح - Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated this with an authentic chain." 2- Ibn Kathir says in ("Al-Bidayah", 7/106): "وهذا إسناد صحيح - this chain is authentic." 3- Al-Qastalani says ("Al-Mawahib", 3374): "وروى ابن أبى شيبة بإسناد صحيح من رواية أبى صالح السمان، عن مالك الدار - Ibn Abi Shaybah has narrated this with an authentic chain." 4- Al-Samhudi says ("Khulasa al-Wafa", 1/417): "ومنه ما رواه البيهقي وابن أبى شيبة بسند صحيح عن مالك الدار - Al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated this authentically on the authority of Malik Al-Daar." It is also authenticated by: Al-Zarqani, al-Haythami, Ibn 'Allan, and many other Hadith scholars. It was also used by scholars to proof the miracles of the Prophet, such as Bayhaqi.
They should read the books of ibn taymiyya and he will educate them. We educate people using our scholars and books they don’t listen we educate them using their ‘scholars’ and ‘books they don’t listen the fact that they’re changing books to the extent of certain people changing the meanings of the Qurān to suit the non Muslims shows they don’t want to be educated

As an average lay muslim, I make dua directly to Allah and Not Muhammad saw. No matter which sheikh tell me to do it, i will never ever do it. It doesn’t seem right to me.
tawassul means asking prophet to make dua to Allah.. Or asking from anyone with the intention that this person is dear to Allah and Allah has given him the powers! The point is that u are already asking help from the living people.. so u think that's right..why not ask Allah directly for whatever u need? Why u ask your mom for pocket money?why u ask a doctor to heal you? Is Allah not capable to help u directly? As Allah says in Quran (paraphrasing) that those who are martyrs in the way of Islam don't call them dead rather they are alive but u don't have sha'or to understand that!! Now Prophet is above all martyrs , so we can say prophet too is alive in his grave..so we are still asking help from a live person.. how is this different from what u are doing????

We give salawaat to prophet not dua? Even prophet Mohammed said clearly don’t do what the Christians did to hazrat isa… provide sources where we make dua to prophet- not for.

If this guy is gonna try to somehow argue that its okay to make dua to the prophet or through the prophet then i wont even bother listening.
