Dude your lectures are unbelievably good!!! I have watched over 30 of your lectures and still counting! I'm using them to 'perfect' my knowledge about biochemistry. I'm entering med school in the fall and your a great help! Are you a medical student or a doctor? If not, you would make a GREAT doctor!
God Bless You! ...I was reading my textbook thinking am I a dumb dumb? You broke it all the way down I actually seem to get it. You basically easily explained the junk the textbook was saying! Thanks for giving me a little more confidence and uploading such a great lecture. Blessings!
Absolutely amazing. You make everything so much simpler. Plus your way of jotting everything down and explaining is very comprehensive and does cover my syllabus easily. Thank you so much. May God bless u 😇
You're amazing! I had a hard time trying to understand hemoglobin and myoglobin concepts for so long. I watched the series of videos you uploaded, and it makes a lot more sense! Thank you so much!!! I love you!
I can't thank you enough for your help through my college courses. I am very appreciative. Reading textbooks is difficult for me because I have a short attention span and I read slowly. Your lectures help me to understand concepts within reasonable time, allowing for met to perform well on exams and to explain them to other students. You and Nancy Pi should get married and make super babies. Much thanks from Davis, California.
Andrey K, You mean the world to me. I appreciate your time and efforts to create amazing videos. You are an amazing human being. I wish I had funds to support your lectures
you are the most important biochem professor for me. I passed my midterm by wathing your vedios, the last question in midterm about hemoglobin is the same as you taught in vedio.
Wonderful explanation!! Just one suggestion, is there a way to number the videos in chronological order so someone can follow them from beginning to end. Leaned more in 15 mim here than I could ever do by myself. Thanks
I think you drew it wrong. The beta and alpha subunits should be diagonal from each other. Without that, there's no pocket between the beta subunits, so things like BPG would have no spot to bind
I learn more in 10 minutes here than in a 60 min biochem lecture...
deadass
Same, but its a 2hour lecture for me

I have never seen a great 10 min lecture that easily conveys ideas like this... He is the best.
CUNY cancelled classes and receiving a UA-cam education has been the greatest switch ever! I learn more here than I do in class. Thanks a lot!

I can't emphasize enough what an excellent teacher you are!

Thank you, King of Biochemistry. You're the reason I have hope in this world.

OMG this video is amazing
Great lesson. Thank you :)
Finally understand it 🎉
This is great, this is made it it very easy to learn. My only problem is sources, i dont know where you got this information.
books?
Aren't the alpha and beta polypeptides diagonal rather than parallel? Maybe you mentioned that I didn't hear it
So in the image on the bottom left, is the T-state on the left and the R-state on the right?
This is genius thankk youu
My lifeguard in the ocean of biochemistry. .
Coolest analogy Ive heard!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Biochem final tuesday! Wish me luck
Good luck, you're going to kill it!
superb...!!!
It is all clear now! Thank you! :D
I think you drew it wrong. The beta and alpha subunits should be diagonal from each other. Without that, there's no pocket between the beta subunits, so things like BPG would have no spot to bind
Pretty sure I drew it correctly.
Thank you so much! your videos help me a lot! :D
I love the way he pronounces iron
good one
I thought alpha 1 and 2 were not in contact? same thing for beta 1 and 2? Anyway, you are amazing! thank you!!

🎉😢Sir 🌹 Very Nice class.OK Sir.😊
Wow. My prof actually messed up T- and R-state. (He said T-state is relaxed and R-state is tight)
sensational! thanks a lot
Thanks
