that hydroponics layout allways fascinates me. somehow the "shuriken" reminds me of something that was kinda popular about 80 years ago in germany

Non flammable steel is still such a must have mod for any playthrough I do.
after all, even jet fuel cant melt steel beams
I never experienced the frustration of seeing my steel base burning, mostly because I just build stuff out of stone and spam firefoam poppers everywhere.
Steel walls in rimworld are treated with a layer of thermite, just in case!

Sea ice is just boring both to play and watch. Far better to have an ice sheet and then add a triple permanent cold snap. It is a highly unforgiving start, but way less dull.

Love the 100 days vids veequeue, especially the long ones. My favorite video was the 500 days on Combat Extended, that was such a masterpiece, and other people are probably gonna agree with that. If you could make another video on Combat Extended it would be nice. Also, cant wait for you to reach 100k, you really deserve it.

No need for hydroponics for food. If you have a roofed area, you can use a sunlamp to grow toxipotatoes on polluted soil.
There is also a way easier setup for hydroponics. You still get 24 basins, but suits my crappy memory.
Also, no burn metal makes every one of my playthoughs. My reasoning being I rarely catch my stainless steel pan on fire when using it.

On my knees for a 40k imperium playthrough
The “shuriken” obviously seen by most people as a German swastica is really interesting to me. The sign originated as an ancient Buddhist sign of well being, then adopted and (literally) twisted by a genocidal group in ww2, to then return as a sign that produces and sustains growth and survival in any situation in a random colony manager game. Beautiful really, or just pretty neat imo .
It can be found in practically every single culture across history and it's even used today in China and in Finland.
One of the few romans shields (the big ones) have the hindu symbol doesn't have to mean the same, also the genocidal group was the SS which was very different from the army

you can survive in toxic enviorment. Just make gas masks. It should help. Also clear the prison room of toxic wastepacks but you know that already.
