- Seeing Whales in the wild has always been a goal of mine but I've just never been luck enough or had the time. On this trip to Akureyri in the north of Iceland though I wanted to change that. Akureyri is a place that i have never been whale watching even though i've been on whale watching tours in other parts of Iceland such as Reykjavik.
The tour company that we are with today for our whale watching experience is what watching Akureyri, whale watching Akureyri is one of the main tour companies in the Akureyri area and operates daily whale watching tours in and around the waters of Akureyri in the north of iceland.

Yes, there are whales off the coast of Mallaig, Scotland, but rarely seen, but lots of seals guaranteed!
I Love seals, only ever seen them up near Lossiemouth, I do plan to do a lot more videos over on the west coast and the islands, Hopefully this year (weather permitting). Glad you enjoyed the video though I didn't think it would be good to talk all the way through this one.
There’s a whale watching tour out of Gairloch which is supposedly the best in the UK for Minke Whale
What a great experience to see whales in their natural environment. Scenery was lovely and I rally liked the the birds playing and swooping over the water. Thanks for sharing your experience

I went whale watching 3 time in the south west and saw very little. You are very correct at least from my experience it much better in the north.

We're going to iceland in July and im going to Akureyri to Whale watch. Its on my bucket list and i cannot wait to do this. As long as im not forced into the overalls i should be good!
They don’t force you into them they just advise that you wear them as it’s very cold. I decided to forgo them. It is an amazing experience and I hope you get to see some whales 😁 enjoy
