These units are known as DeLuxxe units that are converted from older two bedroom "Bliss" units. They slot in between Grand Mayan and Grand Luxxe. In Nuevo Nayarit they have a similar set up that was recently upgraded at the Grand Mayan DeLuxxe, and in Cabo they are known as Celebrity Suites which are on the converted top (6th.) floor of the hotel. The commonality between them all is they are converted from older buildings and units. They have newer, much more stylish, and arguably they are in some ways more modern in the interior designs than some levels of Grand Luxxe units. One distinct feature they lack are the larger balconies with the plunge pools that Grand Luxxe has across the various levels from Grand Luxxe up through Grand Luxxe Residences. At Riviera Maya, the Grand Luxxe Buildings 1-4 are located at the far right side of the property between these DeLuxxe buildings and the beach. These units are set up in a way that works best for couples or families with small children that can use the living area for sleeping. I do not recommend them for two couples or all adults as privacy and the fact that there is only one actual bed can be an issue.

I was just there..its beautiful 🩵.but its very hot that the pools feel like a hot Jacuzzi... Maybe visit in the months of fall or winter.😁
Yes, the pool did get pretty warm, but we still had a good time. We will consider going in the winter. Thanks for your comment!
This Grand Luxxe seems way nicer than the Nuevo Nayarit-Vallarta Grand Luxxe
