Great video ya'll. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.

The video was very helpful. I always cruise with Royal Caribbean. Been looking at this cruise ship. Thinking of getting the Edge Villa. I just want to relax and take a slow pace. Glad you like the GYM. That is a must. I agree with one of the other comments. You have a great voice. So you would travel Celebrity again.

Nice review, as others have mentioned the narration is great (relaxing voice). I have only cruised on P&O (until this year) where we tried a short 4 day taster cruise on Celebrity. This was Apex rather than Beyond but the same class of ship. Agree that this class of ship is a cut above others (including P&O) and particular highlights were the embarkation and disembarkation efficiency, the quality and range of the buffet offerings and the staff professionalism and demeanour. The Solarium is "adult only" with a caveat, in that there is a time slot in which that is relaxed and children are allowed (we found that this included young children using the jacuzzis despite age warning). So clearly this is a premium class cruise (for those unable to afford the small ship high end lines). Despite all that we are unsure yet whether we would make this our go to cruise line for a couple of reasons. The main one is that we are now technically pensioners (took early retirement at 58) and the cost in total appears to average out around 40-50% higher cost for equivalent cruise itinerary than P&O. Therefore on our limited budgets its a case of weighing up whether getting that 5* experience outweighs having perhaps more or longer cruises with P&O. Also we did feel that on the Apex we were thinking that we may have found the available areas a bit restrictive if it had been a 14 day cruise compared to how we felt on the liners we have sailed on with P&O. (note I understand that P&O is a very "British" cruise line compared to the more "International feel" of others). If we were still working then we might have a different opinion.

Its not for everyone! But i have to say that of all the cruise lines i have sailed…..this one was the best for me!!! This was my 2nd celebrity sailing…..the food was so good!! Omg!! I was just happy at the buffet! I met a lot of fun people also! My coworker is Mr Cruise….& goes on about 4 cruises per year…..he did not like celebrity!! He told me it was for old people! He said it was wheel chair city! (We are both in our 60s!). He prefers Royal Caribbean…. I found it to be very adult….and there were many different age groups ! What i really loved was the fact that the gym was open 24 hours!!! I was there every day! My sailing was one of the best cruise experiences i have had…….i hope to go back very soon! I usually take 1 roller carry-on along with a small backpack to fit under the seat. Definitely trying my best not to check any bags!

We are sailing on the Beyond in November. After seeing your tour, we are more excited than before. Can hardly wait!

Our 1st cruise we really didn't know what to pack and we overpacked. I vowed never again and am now carry-on only for many of the reasons you noted. It saves time at the airport, I love being able to self disembark easily. My husband and I each have a carry-on and personal item. I carry the maximum size of each. The key for me is rolling and I dont use packing cubes, except for our undergarments. Great video!
