This video explains keyboard shortcuts for sends. Does pro tools have keyboard shortcuts to assign quickly a whole bunch of I/O ?

You explein very well... yea one thing i need to ask you. I have a problem. I have a plain vocal (without any effects) which I want to have a Reverb on. Now when I create the Aux track (Name it Reverb) and then do a send to Reverb and listen to it, it sounds like a decent reverb BUT there is an ADDED Flanger type of extra effect. IDK where is it coming from. If I listen to the vocal track, it sounds natural, But if I send it through to the SEND to the Reverb Aux OR send it through Output to the Reverb Aux, it adds Reverb PLUS that Flanger type effect. I am Using Protools 10HD and my effect is True Verb (stereo, Waves) IDK what I am doing wrong any of you guys can advise? help will be appreciated.

+jemsncrystals Thanks for the compliment and your question! It sounds like a latency issue between the two tracks due to the reverb plugin. Do you have delay compensation turned on, or if it's on do you have it set for high enough latency? Go to the Setup Menu and click on Playback Engine. Then try setting your Delay Compensation Engine to the Long or Maximum and see if that helps.

OMG thank you so much.... what i did was to set the delay compensation to maximum and it friggin did it !!!! i cant thank you enough.... i am new to pro tools and previously, the things that chalanged me were like:- buffer size, low latency monitoring, Insertion follows playback crap:-) But never known this Delay compensation thing. this was driving me crazy from the past couple of days and was a pain in the butt. I was knocking my head on the wall that what on earth i am doing wrong. i just have one track and one send. no inserts and still i am hearing this bloody flanger WTH... sorry for the typing mistakes in this post. i am too excited right now. thanks a ton. Listen people who so ever are on this video! THIS GUY KNOWS HIS TOOLS! god bless. Can you tell me more on this delay compensation thingy. Do's and Dont's maybe?
