- The Gospel is good news from a Good Father who sent His Son to proclaim a message of liberty. But have we actually heard this message? Does the life of a Christian today reflect a life of liberty? Do we even know what liberty is?
Today, I want to dive into the beauty of the word liberty and allow our hearts to be freed up by what liberty can bring about in lives and relationships. The proclamation of liberty is available to you. The sound of liberty is ringing. Let’s tune our ears to take in the freedom available to us today.

This is why so little is taught on the Holy Spirit. Teaching about the HS = addressing freedom = people realizing they can have liberty = loss of perceived control and pew warmers in legalistic churches. Thank you so much Mark ( and Melissa) for all you are doing to bring the true gospel and love of the Father to light. Your videos have helped me immensely. Through your struggles you are helping so many with their own. ❤️

Man Mark, I appreciate what you do. I'm 16, I've "believed" in God my whole life but really only woke up to it for real 3 months ago. And very soon after that, I started to struggle mightily with the intrusive thoughts, Performance Christianity, doing things out of peer pressure or fear, not out of a pure heart. And your videos have helped a ton. There's still some rough things tho, such as I sometimes really struggle with getting life out of the Word of God, and I oftentimes feel like I can't connect to him and I desire that constant, consistent love-relationship more than anything. It's hard to move forward sometimes but I realize it's a journey. Thanks again and God bless 🙂

When I was attending my legalistic church, I felt too much pretence around me because they will be preaching love but acting differently. But when I came to this church right here for the first time in my church life I felt at home. Thank you Mark and Melissa.
Holy Spirit is speaking a powerful message through you Mark. Stay encouraged! This is such a confirmation after waking up this AM and hearing the scripture "Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" I've received lots of breakthrough this past 2 years out of the depths of addiction, shame and self hatred. Currently Holy Spirit is dealing in my life with fear over the liberty that I have been tremendously been given. Wow do I relate to Israel when they looked back to living in Eqypt, for me when I used everyday, that routine was one I was in control of even if everyday was painful. Now to know I'm loved - adopted - free!!! It's way mind-blowing sometimes and beyond greatful. Still feeling bondage in what to do with my time and how to be in relationships without performance 🤷🏻♂️ I know there is a war over these two areas I did not understand before. Thank God for bringing it into the light.

I have been terrified of freedom. I feel like I'm being critical but recently it seems like there is alot of truth preached but no love. You teach with love. One local message I read today was that if you are in bondage then you are denying the truth. I'm not saying his message was all wrong but it seemed like there was no love.
Wowwww I love you brother I’ve been praying and God answered through your sharing today this is exactly what I’m going through and been trying to understand, God has been letting me know time after time that He’s my father ❤️ I really had to swap even my expectations of what my natural father gave (what was ok and not okay) and what my Heavenly Father gave , is giving , and will give and how He sees me. I’m going to rewatch thank you for walking in your destiny and freedom it’s really helping me in my journey with Abba Father fueling my freedom and destiny 🙏🏾 Bless you brother !
True words and for me challengling to learn, but Im on my way. Being a musician, I have often fallen into the legalistic mindset and perfectionism. Thinking like "I should only do this style , I can only play christian music, Im doing something wrong since Im not inspired at the moment". Stressfull and it kills creativity. What I realized was that whatever Im playing tends wrap around itself my identity. Now Im starting to see more that my identity is in Christ and music is something I play. Whatever style, I want it to honor Him cause He delights when I use the gifts He has blessed me. I now see that in liberty I can play many styles and that is a strength.I rely on His spirit and wisdom to guide me away from the bad stuff. Its a bit scary, but I know God is with me and He knows my heart. Its a journey, so I wont stop beliving (pun intended). God bless you so much

Man Mark this is a really good teaching! The Bible says it is for freedom Christ has set us free. Man I struggle with this big time. I listen to anxiety it's my default mode. This is very helpful.
Thank you so much for this message! It's really encouraging to me, especially when I think about those areas where I feel stuck and where I am struggling with decision fatigue. I have not yet valued liberty to the fullest. It really is too good to be true. I love the comparision of someone who is coming out of prison and cannot grasp the fullness of his freedom. Liberty is indeed freedom to walk out of prison knowing I have a father and not a taskmaster. I will keep this in mind when it comes to double-mindedness, perfectionism and so on. LOVE the concept of liberty, but how do you reconcile that we "are not our own...we are bought with a price"? If my life is not my own, how can I be free to choose/decide? Don't I have to discern/wait to know the will of the Father? It's so confusing to me!
You have to read that in the context it was written. It doesn't negate liberty, rather empowers it.
