I really, REALLY, want your another attempt. You tried so hard and didn't do much. Imagine...you have lost your camera, that Shadow found. You wake up with great injuries (0.5 heart) in a raptor's cave - they thought you were dead and dragged you to their nest to the food stash. You have to get out without any tools, because they were left in a backpack, that fell, when you were dragged on the ground. You try to heal and survive, once you get out, and when you are finally ready to comeback to your base, you come here and see, that MG already send few more agents and they were working on your task, thinking you are dead. Something like that
Nah, surely he does it coz it's good content. Wouldn't be nearly as fun if we didn't get to see it. I love to watch how far he'll push the drama tbh. Not the most logical approach but we don't watch Forge Labs for logic do we? 😜

Truly, Sean has no equal.

For anybody confused about the safety lanterns and the “air quality” I believe that it is referring to dead air or foul air. Dead/foul air is air that is low on oxygen and mostly comprised of other gases like CO2. Because of this it is lethal if exposed for a long time, the worse thing is that people generally will be unable to tell that they are breathing in dead air until they start to get symptoms. That’s why before caving people generally carry around a lantern or torch so when the lantern or torch goes out they will know that there is dead air up ahead. Dead air could be found in caves, closed off tunnels or large fully enclosed spaces where there is little air flow. Which is why Sean started to “drown” in the cave.
@@SabinFigaro Canaries would collapse from gas buildup before a human usually, so it there was a buildup of a non-explosive type of gas, that would be their cue to hightail it outta there. In the case of a flammable gas their torches/lamps would have probably already exploded it before that became an issue
This is neat but may I ask how do you stop it from happening? If you can't in RL then at least have something because it is blocking resources and Sean thought it was just that you can't go low.
This is not only one of my favorite videos you’ve made, but it is by far the most impressive in my opinion. The editing and just the overall feel of the video with the dinosaur VHS type horror vibe is outstanding, the little cuts to random scenes of dinosaurs and just the world is amazing, along with your storytelling. It is really immersive. Keep up the good work Sean, I along with most if not all of your viewers enjoy these types of videos a lot. Your content is awesome.

This has been the most maddening Forge Labs video I've ever watched. It's like Moe, Larry, and Curly all rolled into one player. The almost total lack of situational awareness when he's walking around in the forest with berries in his hand instead of a weapon. Stumbling around at night trying to find his "camp" instead of simply digging into the ground or building a simple dirt hut for the night. Constantly running away from the T-rex in a straight line and babbling like a nincompoop out of terror. Never cutting any trees down or leveling the land around his base to make it safer. Never putting any torches around his area to be able to see at night. NEVER enclosing his camp in a wall! I would be reluctant to let him choose the place to have lunch on a super flat map in peaceful mode.

That's only when actively stalking. Humans are big enough that a lot of predators will be purposefully noisy and visible so we'll fuck off and risky combat can be avoided. You're more likely to be seen as a rival or intruder than prey.

He didn't mention how he couldn't move. I didn't hear any frantic mouse or keyboard pressing. He always seemed to say "Oh my God!" only right at the exact millisecond he started moving. He did it with dinos that didn't roar like the rapters as well. So of that's true, I was set up to believe that wasn't the case from the start.

You also don't have any context for him not pressing his mouse or keyboard, what if his mic cancels all that audio?
I also love how Sean knows he has the mod for cutting down trees, and that there are animals that can break blocks, and he just did not take that into account with the treehouse at all

The stress from watching this man see a group of like 5 raptors and not just running away but instead standing there and shooting at them while they get closer. He could have just gone up into the tree and shot them from his base.
as a huge paleo enthusiast, this is making me go nuts!! if only there were ichyosaurs.... also it is though that tyyrannosauurs rex(or any big therapod) most likely had cushion pads on their feet to help them stay silent just imagine like a semi truck sized predator sneaking up on you without you even hearing or feeling anything
YESS I also love dinosaurs and i have always imagined a horror game with realistic dinosaurs. Like imagine its a survival game and its night time and you see in between the trees a massive acrocanthosaurus sneaking up on you in the middle of the night
Yes ichthyosaurs were the biggest marine animals(potentially) and yes they probably were more predatory than we thought at first, but why would you want them?

Be careful with the Tyrannosaurus in TheDawnEra mod. They tend to spam their spawns in plains biomes specifically. Sometimes, you’ll encounter 2-3 of them at the same time in one biome. Edit: Also, most dinos can be tamed. However, it can take copious amounts of food in order to achieve this. The dino also needs to not be aggroing you for them to eat the food. If you aggro them enough times, they become untamable, so you’ll have to find another of the same dino to tame. Larger dinos are also rideable! So long as you can craft their saddle, you can ride them. You can also put armor on them.
@@IAmStrad4 Im not 100% sure exactly how many times it has to be, but technically yes. If he wanted to tame a triceratops by that point, he’d have to find another one entirely.
The fact that he just ignores so much zinc ore is painful to watch. (You can save iron by using zinc instead of iron to make andesite alloy, which is the basis for doing anything in the create mod.) Another tip for the create mod: every time you make a new machine or power generation source, hold down "w" while hovering over the item, and read everything the animation tells you. You can also make a hand crank, which can power your machines without needing to set up a power network with water wheels or wind turbines. Also, maybe watch some tutorials on how to use the create mod. Also, I'm sorry if this comment comes off as sounding mean, I'm not trying to make fun of you, I just want to give some tips.
Not the only one feeling the pain... Robert seems to be the one who can get it mostly out of all of them lol They should do a 100 days survival having to use the Create Mod to help them get it down easier cause they all say they love the mod, But confused as to how it works

The only gripe is that theyre not balancing the mod fully.Iirc the spawn rate is not fixed and Rex appear in plains very very often.Making it hard to inhabit. Unfortunately, the mod is discontinued.And uhhh turned into a bedrock addon

That part with the Raptors in the cave just gave me mega nostalgia to the first, original Tomb Raider. The whole ambiance and scenery reminds me of the moment when you fight the wolves for the first time.

Pittrap with wood covering and a "save" room in front with only a small opening to the side of the pittrap. Easy solution for capturing the blockbreaking dinosaurs. They would remain at your only exist, thus breaking through and trapping themselves.

That's only when actively stalking. Humans are big enough that a lot of predators will be purposefully noisy and visible so we'll fuck off and risky combat can be avoided. You're more likely to be seen as a rival or intruder than prey.
Good thing is even if dinos get revived to our current time, they'll just die off cuz of thin air and lower temp

He didn't mention how he couldn't move. I didn't hear any frantic mouse or keyboard pressing. He always seemed to say "Oh my God!" only right at the exact millisecond he started moving. He did it with dinos that didn't roar like the rapters as well. So of that's true, I was set up to believe that wasn't the case from the start.

YESS I also love dinosaurs and i have always imagined a horror game with realistic dinosaurs. Like imagine its a survival game and its night time and you see in between the trees a massive acrocanthosaurus sneaking up on you in the middle of the night
Yes ichthyosaurs were the biggest marine animals(potentially) and yes they probably were more predatory than we thought at first, but why would you want them?

I remember when this man was struggling to survive in RLcraft. Now he is struggling to survive with a dinosaur mod pack, Sean has come a long way.
Be careful with the Tyrannosaurus in TheDawnEra mod. They tend to spam their spawns in plains biomes specifically. Sometimes, you’ll encounter 2-3 of them at the same time in one biome.
Edit: Also, most dinos can be tamed. However, it can take copious amounts of food in order to achieve this. The dino also needs to not be aggroing you for them to eat the food. If you aggro them enough times, they become untamable, so you’ll have to find another of the same dino to tame.
Larger dinos are also rideable! So long as you can craft their saddle, you can ride them. You can also put armor on them.

Im not 100% sure exactly how many times it has to be, but technically yes. If he wanted to tame a triceratops by that point, he’d have to find another one entirely.

The fact that he just ignores so much zinc ore is painful to watch.
(You can save iron by using zinc instead of iron to make andesite alloy, which is the basis for doing anything in the create mod.)
Another tip for the create mod: every time you make a new machine or power generation source, hold down "w" while hovering over the item, and read everything the animation tells you. You can also make a hand crank, which can power your machines without needing to set up a power network with water wheels or wind turbines.
Also, maybe watch some tutorials on how to use the create mod.

The only gripe is that theyre not balancing the mod fully.Iirc the spawn rate is not fixed and Rex appear in plains very very often.Making it hard to inhabit.

Pittrap with wood covering and a "save" room in front with only a small opening to the side of the pittrap. Easy solution for capturing the blockbreaking dinosaurs. They would remain at your only exist, thus breaking through and trapping themselves.
