Looks like a fun trip, we were there a couple months after you. We saw a TON of elk roaming the pastures. My wife & I enjoy the heck out of your channel. Be safe.
I absolutely love all the place y'all go and I love all the historical place you visit ❤ .... I know I couldn't do it but I so enjoy ever place you visit...I'm Glad to see y'all upgraded your living condition 👍👍👍😍
Being an RVr and Goldwing Ryder with two campers I wanted to offer two notes to help you out. Most fridge doors have an additional latch button behind the regular opener handle, of you have them also they slide/click outward to better secure the door(s). Also. Not sure you retract your awning before depart the trailer but most will advise you do; wind is your awnings enemy and every season campers ruin or lose their awning while away from camp.
I am SO impressed with you two!! You always keep a positive attitude and you adapt to make your life better. Buying the truck to haul the bikes is brilliant. Also purchasing a trailer was a fantastic idea. Ride safe and continue with the excellent content!!!
Enjoy your channel, been watching from y’all start. I believe the move to your new accommodations have put bigger smiles on your faces. I’m planning on retirement and your new equipment has given me a good direction for my retirement. Keep smiling.
In addition to the website you mentioned, the Butler Ozarks map can't be beat. Made of indestructible material, it highlights sites and the best riding roads. My best gal and I did a 2k mi loop through MO, AR, and the Eastern edge of OK last Oct. It was amazing - we had a blast and stayed at small cozy motels (we're not rv'ers). Almost as amazing as WV and SW VA. You can't beat a big-trailie for this kind of riding (Super Tenere and a F650 GS twin). We started / ended in IL. We normally ride our whole trip. This time we trailered from our home in VA to not far from St Louis arriving refreshed and not exhausted for the core of our ride. We're in our 60's (riding since our 20's) but as we age get saddle sore easier before the end of the day - no more 350 mi days for us. We're going to do this way more often.
Another great ride for you guys while we watch in cold Pennsylvania. 4 months until we go full time with our motorcycles and an RV! You're our inspiration! Brendan & Lena
We live in SW Missouri and get to play on these roads all the time. It was great to see you enjoying them. Sorry the weather didn't cooperate and made you miss the others. Keep up the awesome content and stay safe!
Nice update. I'm changing up my travel method as well. Went from 2 wheels and cheap motels; now that I'm more um, mature I wanted a consistent place so I invested in a used motorhome and pulled the bike in a trailer. Did that for a few years but after a day of riding and wanting a quick meal getting back on the bike wasn't always fun, expecially in the rain. So I've gone to a toy hauler bumper pull trailer with a 1 ton pickup. Nice addition because when the weather isn't cooperating I can still go around and see some POI's, grocery runs, gas runs for the generator, etc. Enjoy the new year and the different travel method. I've hit the Ozarks one time so far, have family in Hot Springs to visit as well. Need to get back for more in that area.
The Ozark’s are a favorite playground, was in that same region last October. Love how one can ride all day with very few people around. It’s stunning when colors change.
I've watched some of your videos. At 62, I decided to buy my first bike. Living in Memphis, I always thought I would wind up in the AR Ozarks, but I found a place in the Smokies. Keep it coming.
I'm glad to see that you are enjoying your rides through the ozarks in Arkansas I ride in Arkansas All the time in the summer But the best time to ride is in the fall with all the trees turning different colors Enjoy and stay safe
Another really good video, I appreciate all the time it takes to edit all that material from so many cameras. Thanks guys continue to have lots of fun with your new rig.
Great video. Our riding group planned a Rally in 2020 centered in Harrison, AR but then Covid hit. We were going to go in 2021 but we went to AL instead so I could officiate at our friends wedding. Bob and I have been in the Ozark’s a number of times. Love the area. We have been on Peels Ferry across Bulls Shoals Lake. Beautiful. Look forward to riding in the Ozark’s in June for the BMW MOA Rally. The Ozark’s Butler Map is great, has all the roads in MO, AR and OK. Love seeing your new set up. Base Camp must of been great to be in during those 3 days of rain. Stay safe.
Love the video. We are heading out tomorrow morning on our Goldwing from the Daytona beach area to that region. You gave me lots of ideas for points of interest!
I think I met y’all on the road one time. In the Texas Hillcountry Camp Wood I had a Tiger 850 then. It was probably 1-1.5 years ago? Great video, thanks for sharing.
Imagine the same three wet days in a tent... you guys have paid the piper and done the time and now it's time to reap the rewards of all that labor and enjoy life to the fullest. What goes through your mind when you see someone else camping in wet grass, it's raining and cold out there and you have a dry and warm bed to come home to?
We rode the Peel Ferry route last summer (video of the ride on our channel) and LOVED the route, and also got pictures of the "grand canyon of Arkansas". Truly beautiful. I recognize many of these roads. Can't want to go back next summer and ride the rest of the routes out of Harrison. Ya'll ride safe.
Great video what a beautiful ride no biking here in New Brunswick Canada we just got things cleaned up from a foot of snow and high winds so I enjoyed watching and pretending I was riding along lol thanks for sharing take care and a great channel
My Wife and I both have relatives and distant relatives in Arkansas. My Great Grandmother passed away a several years ago on the eve of her 105th Birthday. My Mom, Aunt and Grandmother went to the funeral, which at that age is a Celebration of Life, and met cousins and distant cousins they'd heard of but had never met. My Wife, Son, and I went to Arkansas and met some of her relatives and had dinner with her Aunt who is alive and well even during these perilous times. Oddly, we camped there in a tent camper I bought for $50.00. So this weeks video is showing us a bit of our past even though neither my Wife or I spent much time there. I'd sue like to visit again but it's a long way from Washington State. You've kinda warmed the juices though. Thanks for Sharing!
Wow the canyon view is amazing! I'll definately have to check out that area some day Lord willing. Its crazy how green there in winter. Y'all be safe 🙏🙂
I'm like you, Chris, a big fan of exploring old cemeteries. One of my favorite things to do is ride my motorcycle down small highways, find old cemeteries, and stop and explore. Fascinating stuff. I don't know if you're familiar with "Faces of the Forgotten" channel on UA-cam, but check that out. Ron does in-depth stories of famous -- and sometimes not so famous --- people buried in these cemeteries that he visits.
@@TwoWheelsBigLife Hey, Chris and Richard, I just discovered this Faces of the Forgotten video and thought you may find it interesting. ua-cam.com/video/DX_SjbzrA2A/v-deo.html

Y'all rode some pretty country, and I recognized much of the area in this video. I live in central Arkansas, but make an annual pilgrimage to Eureka Springs every September. Been across Bull Shoals on the ferry several times. If you ever get back this way, you need to ride AR 23 from I-40 up to Eureka Springs (or do it the other way) and over the "Arkansas Golden Gate" at Beaver. Both are really nice rides. Ride safe, and I'm looking forward to your future adventures.
We love that part of Arkansas!! We stay in Harrison and ride all over the area. I want to do the ferry route this year! Great video, but I miss the Harley…
Arkansas looks like Western NC very near where I live. Love the mountains. I thought the cut and the knot on Rick's head was because he talked back to Kris, 🤣😂. I wish my wife would approve a GSA, she's an Accountant too. I have to walk a thin line.
Really enjoyed the video. I am too cautious (read scared) to ride a bike up and down the ramps as you do. I salute your ability. I use a winch to pull the bike up / down as I straddle it and keep it centered. And that is on a trailer that is lower than your truck. I do like the setup you have with the camper / flatbed. You have all you need for enjoying a great trip. Stay safe.
When we were newbie campers we didn't get the fridge closed properly and my wife had a 1 gallon jar of sourkrout that broke and was everywhere boy did that smell good for a few days.
Man, I'd loved to have ridden with you when you came through. I ride these roads just for an afternoon ride. Seen Elk at Ponca many times, have talked with people from all over the world at the little store there in Ponca. The Peel ferry is a great ride. I've lived most of my life on gravel roads and have never heard or seen a process that involves "claying, graveling, and rolling". What typically happens is that a new road is graded (maybe bulldozed first|), then large gravel is put down and graded, then minus gravel is put down and graded, and then people use the road which packs the gravel down. I've never seen a roller on a gravel road ever. Maybe what you're describing is a Texas thing....
I hope y'all managed to eat at the "Cliff House Inn" on hwy 7. I figured out that we are seeing these videos about 2 1/2 months after you have been there. Hoping to get something motorized to get those bikes up on the truck before anything cracks. Thanks.
Smart move turning around at Buck Creek and going back, avoiding Branson anytime you can. However 125 is a fantastic road clear up into Missouri.
It’s a great area for sure

Wow you guys got new motorcycle nice, what make and model are they.
I am a die hard Harley rider but Rich's new bike is much better suited to your needs. I cringed every time he loaded/unloaded the Glide.
Thanks
I enjoy the channel. What cameras and mounts do you use for the great shots while riding?
How are you getting those side shots on the bikes? When the camera swivels you can't see any support bars.
