At First I was like Naaaa.... Then I got to thinking.. This is a great system! enables you to do all the activities and has a great small foot print basecamp with the ability to haul the Bikes!
I don't know who found who but you both got lucky when you found each other. To find someone with the same passion for life and travel and of course motorcycles I had to throw that in. What more can you ask for in life. The two of you are awesome people enjoy life be safe
Just another piece of advice on travel trailers, when you go for your rides I would always retract your awning if a good wind comes up it can easily be torn off, speaking from experience if you have the automatic one with a wind speed sensor I still wouldn't trust it... Love y'all rides and videos.
It's about time :) you two look much happier and rested. A refer, toilet, and hard top shelter makes life so much easier to handle when life or weather throws you a curve ball. I'm excited to see what comes next. Take care and keep the videos coming.
Interesting development. It is a ONE WAY road! I have a BMW GS, and a Road King too. I love the RK, and tour with it every year, but when it comes to really make up a lot of mileage, and get off the saddle in a reasonable shape, the GS cannot be beaten (I know many will dislike this comment). My guess? You will keep the HD for smaller tours, but we will see you on the GS from now on. PS: not to mention the far superior behavior on dirt of the GS ...
GS Adventure, they are great. Welcome to the fold. Been riding GS’s since Charlie and Ewen did a long way. Always gets me home. You will find any road is always OK.
I don’t know how to feel…. I am happy for you guys, after all it is “your ride” . But I’d be remiss if I didn’t say I feel a little let down, disappointed if you will. My wife and I have been following you since the beginning, tuning in every Sunday. I guess the simplistic life style along with the adventure is what drew us. So much so that we just purchased a pull behind camper similar to Ruby. We’ve done the travel trailer and big truck before and it was just too cumbersome for us. You have inspired us to chase the sunset on our motorcycles and we will. I guess for us, less is more. Too many moving parts… too many potential issues. Please don’t take this as a negative post. It’s more therapy for me. Massive curveball I guess. What set you apart was how you traveled. That was the lure. Tuck and travel trailer is all you see on the road. You took it to a different level and that’s what I respect. You guys have definitely earned the leap to luxury and we will still eagerly tune in to see your adventure. I truly wish you both all the happiness and adventure in the world.
Antigravity makes great small jump start battery , much smaller than jumper cables. Maybe something to rap around your front brake lever so the bike doesn't roll away when you are picking it up. Industrial double back velcro rapped around the master cylinder is were mine lives.
Great trick for closing up the hybrid trailer. close all your vents and windows and doors. turn on your ceiling fan and from out side you will see all the canopies get pulled in. makes it so easy to close up. have fun and see you on the road.
Now that kind of camping I might be able to talk my wife into. The tent, not so much. We loved Arkansas. Our favorite bike trip. No dirt roads with an electra glide and tri glide though. Lol. Hope you got a chance to see the Arkansas grand canyon. Spectacular. Lol I couldn't help but wonder how rough sleeping in a tent was after the bean festival. 😅
We would have loved to known you were in town! You road right in front of our house, just down from Timbo Grocery, they also have a GREAT burgers and pizza! LOVE the riding in the area, Peal ferry loop is one of our favorites!
Can’t beat those Swiss Army knife motorcycles. They do it all. With style and character. R1250 GS/GSA wonderful. You two just get better at what you do. Living and learning. No other way. Wisdom. Respect. Ride safe and ride often.
You guys are precious. Love your personalities. And what a life. How I would love to do what you are doing. Ive riden bikes all my life. Just got back from a texas to california round trip. After seeing this will be going to Arkansas next. Thanks for sharing your wonderful life.
Nice outfit. Should be much more comfortable and allow you to keep travelling for many more years. We are getting -35 C temps here in Manitoba so nice to see some warmth. Suggest a small booster pack instead of cables, more compact and can be used for other things as well.
Harley Davison blew another great opportunity.(Surprise...lol) I wish they had offered you a Pan America. I, and I'm sure many would have loved seeing one beside the GS. Enjoyed watching you push that 96ci, spoked wheeled Road Glide every week. That's what Harley needs people watching, and being proud of. Oh well.... We have love watching you guys over the years and will continue watching you, because deep down you're right, "its not what you ride". Congratulations on the upgraded mode of transportation / similar to what we do. I hope one day our paths cross.
Sorry to hear about Miss Alice. She was a good old Work Horse. Now you guys can explore some off road adventures without worry. Looks like you have a great setup. Enjoy and ride safe. Pickup a Noco start pack. 79 dollars on Amazon. No sense carrying your big jumper cables everywhere.
Everyone does it! Anyone that say that they haven't YET! when you ride the places you guys do it definitely will happen! Glad you guys are safe and okay
Great Update cool new camper n Truck. I think this may be the better way to do what you two are doing. Sorry about Miss Alice But great new bike for Richard. enjoying all your trials and tribulations ! Keep it up..
I just love watching you guys👍🏼. Keep it going & love your new home ❤. I started following you 2 month ago. Sorry for the lost of your friend Stay safe
The new camper looks great and I'm sure you sleep just a little sounder and Richard's new bike completes the package, great vlog looking forward to the new season thanks Steve
24° here in West Michigan. Have a blanket and dog on my lap as I’m watching this. Loving it. See you all are going to get all sorts of trouble. Enjoy it!
i cant help feeling these bikes are way to big for what you use them for a couple of 350-500 would be way more suitable you will drop them less and if you do they are far easier to pick up
I think you guys have the perfect setup. I never understood the hype of adventure bikes till I got my 24 Transalp and I think they’re the best all around and daily bike on the market
You two are awesome and truly inspiring and motivating everyone to go out there and live their own adventures, well done, happy new year full of joy and more amazing videos!! PS: your new set up looks great, Heidi looks awesome, and to me you made the right choice, well done!! 👍👍
Just get a small jump pack. You can always help someone else when needed. There great and small. Will also jump a car or truck. Safe adventures. Setup is looking good 👍
Congratulation, if you recall, I have always recommended that you two get a BMW GS for the type of rides you do and it happened. I have the same colored BMW GSA and its like riding First Class on a First Class flight across the continent!!
Look’n good guys, Lost count of the number of times I’ve dropped my GS. This is where the debate about soft or hard luggage rears it’s head when off roading. Look forward to more of your back country riding. Stay Safe
Good Video. I love riding around Arkansas. One of the best states for riding. Very biker friendly state. I'm glad you checked out Mountain View, AR because there is so much to see in that area. Mountain View also has Bluegrass music on the court house square every weekend. Good place to camp and swim at Sylamore creek which is about 15 miles northwest of Mountain View.
IMPRESSSSIVE. What's that you ask? When you experience trials & tribulations, you're able to laugh it off. Thank you for such a good example in dealing with life, what is thrown at you. A word about sound. Video sound is always good. No, I mean how'd y'all get used to not hearing that olde H.D. THUNDER sound, compared to the ADV bike sound.
Really like to see how you two have evolved into where you are with this now. This will make your daily adventures so much more enjoyable. Yeah, there’ll be those who won’t be happy with this new way of camping but I give you A LOT of credit for doing the Ruby thing as long as you did. Having ridden and still riding for close to 50 years, slept under tarp covered picnic tables and pup tents. I now travel state to state similar to you guys and ride out a couple hundred miles in any direction.
We really really love the new change. We been with yall a long time and agree it was time to step up a little in comforts and zero was taken away from the two wheels theme. Love it.
Stumbled upon this vid by chance. I really appreciate how you showed my home state in such a wonderful light. I've been riding the woods and backroads of this state for years and have just scratched the surface. Thanks for sharing. Great edit and inspiring content. You have one more subscriber.
That’s the perfect travel trailer for your adventures. You guys will surely be more comfortable and it will allow you more freedom to explore. Good luck!
Now you have off road capable bikes you and chris need to look up the G.O.A.T in Northeast oklahoma. Green county adventure trail. gravel back road riding threw the moutains. several days of riding and base camping. You two look happy. Stay warm.
Been following a long since the beginning. I love the changes you have made on your trip. Everyone makes changes in their lives. You're still on the road and doing your adventures on two wheels great video. God made us intelligent enough to conquer our environments there is no reason to sweat your butts off trying to sleep after an incredible day of riding.
ok guys i have checked out your channel a few times its allways been very good, but now that your both on adventure bikes my excitement level is on overdrive. im a current roadglide guy but ready to jump to a pan or gs and this channel is just so encouraging ,love what u guys do .
Happy New Year!! I started following you guys in 2020.... Haven't watched in about 8 months though.... The both of you look fantastic and actually look younger!! Best wishes for this year!!
Everything is equal except for the refrigerator door and anything else in category C. lol Nice bike! The only thing wrong is it's a BMW... lol I know blah blah blah...... Thanks for posting.. Happy Dayafter New Years Day!!
Kinda bitter sweet as I started following as I ride a road glide and love your channel...but all things change. Just keep on riding and most importantly...keep living.
LoL...after you commented on driving along the edge of the road...you ended on a cliffhanger...that's nice...and then you found what you were looking for... woohoo...I couldn't be happier...lol
I have been following along for sometime and WOW. big changes!....I have done a recent change myself. Hard core Harley guy now riding adventure bikes at 55!!!!.... And a camper!!! and a truck!!! Love the truck and camper set up. You have lost some of the mobility but gained a tone of comfort.... This lifestyle is always a trade off isnt it!
Hello Rich and Chris.. happy new year from the UK. I think you made a great decision to get the GSA and as you explained have a bike the same year as Chris means you can share tools and other equipment for the two bikes. I like that kind of reasoning! Next thing I would guess is some trendy Adventure jacket/pant combo Rich to go with the bike…😂😂 We wish you many exciting adventures this year and we look forward to Sunday evenings to see what you guys have been doing. Cannot wait for an episode when Chris cooks in the trailer…
Cool setup you now have! I would suggest getting the BMW diagnostic tool (GS-911) so you can check systems out and reset any sensors that go out. I don't think Richard will really want to get back on the Harley after some time riding the BMW. Besides performing riding duties much better it must be easier to load onto the truck.
I got exited when I saw the new GSA for Richard. You're going to love that bike. It's comfortable and it does everything you want it to. I'm really enjoying this new format of Glamping with base camp and then riding around the roads in the area. Please keep sharing with us these amazing adventures!! I can't get enough of it :)
Greetings from England I love your videos, I'm going through all the old ones catching up, must admit your new base camp set up much better idea, I was going to give a similar idea, only I was going to say a RV or Van conversion plus trailer for your bikes, but actually I think this is better, brilliant. I lived in what we call a touring caravan and land rover Discovery for four and a half years, sure miss it ! God bless guys .
It was more interesting, but we need to remember, they live 24 7 in that little camper. Life can be a little more comfortable than that. Good healthy move.
So Happy you guys are back!!! Wasn't really quite sure what to expect with Ruby gone. Well, gotta say, sweet set up and my wife and I being of similar age. This is the only way we would travel on an extended period of time. Then Richard pulled off the big GSA and wow. Great choice if I do say so myself. A definite HUGE thumbs up. Looking forward to season 6!!!
From one GSA owner to another... great choice of bikes!! Having the freedom to be comfortable on gravel roads is awesome! If you two are ever back in Ohio look me up!!
Happy New Year! Glad to see the changes that you are making. I enjoy your filming of your day trips with your motorcycles the most. The way you are camping is now more relatable to how many of your followers may do the same trips with their motorcycles. I personally own a cargo trailer that I put my bike and camping gear in and take similar trips on my Ducati, I would never have the guts to do what both of you have done for almost two years now! I hope you ride for many more years as you are great ambassadors for people who own motorcycles!
Hey, just saw your trip to Leakey video. Sorry you missed the largest oak tree in Rio Frio. You drive right by it and don't realise it's just 1 tree and not a yard full of trees. We live in Leakey and ride as well. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for posting and love to see more trips.
Aha. Enjoyig your videos. I have been commenting to my wife that your recent videos had to be from earlier in the year because of the trees and weather. Congratualtions on the new bike. I bought a 21 GSA back in August. The 21 and now 22 GS wouldn't have been really any different. The 21 has some updated electronics and the adaptive headlight but basically the same bike as your 20. You might look into a GS911 . It's a handy tool to read codes and reset maintenance cues etc..
At First I was like Naaaa.... Then I got to thinking.. This is a great system! enables you to do all the activities and has a great small foot print basecamp with the ability to haul the Bikes!
That’s it you got it thanks for understanding. You nailed it.
Small foot print?
Totally agree.
Great set-up!
they should have bought a 5 th wheel toy box ,easier to load and unload the bikes.
I don't know who found who but you both got lucky when you found each other. To find someone with the same passion for life and travel and of course motorcycles I had to throw that in. What more can you ask for in life. The two of you are awesome people enjoy life be safe

Also if it rains and you do not have a slant on one side..... above ground pool and a bent roller. Ask me how I know!
LOL
100%
Yes for sure. Thanks.
I love your video's , just started watching them!! I don't ride but sure do enjoy your trips and beautiful scenery that you share!!
Good luck folks on your new adventure.
Thanks, you too!
I don’t ride a motorcycle, but I do camp, and I think your new choices are wonderful, and I enjoy the videos immensely!
It's about time :) you two look much happier and rested. A refer, toilet, and hard top shelter makes life so much easier to handle when life or weather throws you a curve ball. I'm excited to see what comes next. Take care and keep the videos coming.
Video quality is absolutely perfect guy and it's appreciated when looking at the beautiful backdrops. Ride safe be well from NY
Much appreciated!
Love this idea. Solid base camp, a chance to get a good rest and stay warm will make the riding so much more enjoyable.
What an AWESOME way to live and see the country!
Interesting development. It is a ONE WAY road! I have a BMW GS, and a Road King too. My guess? You will keep the HD for smaller tours, but we will see you on the GS from now on.
PS: not to mention the far superior behavior on dirt of the GS ...
True The GSA is better on the road. But i do like the HD for touring long distances its a bit more comfortable
GS Adventure, they are great. Welcome to the fold. Been riding GS’s since Charlie and Ewen did a long way. Always gets me home. You will find any road is always OK.

Great tip! YES!! we did learn that for a couple we met in the UP of Michigan. It really helps a lot

Lol the eggs ! Keeping it real. That's what I like about your channel. Good job!
Thanks Roger. It was a mess
I absolutely love your new set up. I’m sure it adds a lot of much needed comfort.
Absolutely love Riches new bike! 👍🏻❤️ here’s to an awesome new year and more adventures! 🎊🍾
Thanks
We would have loved to known you were in town! You road right in front of our house, just down from Timbo Grocery, they also have a GREAT burgers and pizza! LOVE the riding in the area, Peal ferry loop is one of our favorites!
Rich has a big ol smile ! We're going out for a dirt road trip.
Better than jumper cables is a jumper battery. small and compact and some have a light. love the new bike and your new journey.
Rich, your new bike is awesome !!!!
Top tier set up.. the base camp the bikes everything
Happy new year!!✌☀🛻🏖
I just found out how to reply to only our members. Yea
We live in Northwest Arkansas! We ride a Goldwing! We love Arkansas!
Can’t beat those Swiss Army knife motorcycles. They do it all. With style and character. R1250 GS/GSA wonderful. You two just get better at what you do. Living and learning. No other way. Wisdom. Respect. Ride safe and ride often.
I carry a small lithium jumper start . It has saved me several times . Great video thank you for sharing your videos.
You guys are precious. Love your personalities. And what a life. How I would love to do what you are doing. Ive riden bikes all my life. Just got back from a texas to california round trip. After seeing this will be going to Arkansas next. Thanks for sharing your wonderful life.

As a regional rep for the BMW Motorcycle Club of NZ - I commend your move from the dark side ! Welcome to BMW Motorrad… enjoy!
Great Update cool new camper n Truck. I think this may be the better way to do what you two are doing. Sorry about Miss Alice But great new bike for Richard. enjoying all your trials and tribulations ! Keep it up..

LOVE THE NEW SETUP AND THE TRUCK IS AWESOME TO HAUL BOTH CYCLES AND A TRAILER!
It's good to see y'all with more comfort, convenience as well as a bit more safety. God Bless you both and I am grateful for the videos you make.
Thanks so much
I new this BMW thing was going to happen heeeeee 💗Ride On.
If you ever need to get a skid plate, the Black Dog skid plates are reliable. Love your videos!
Oh yes we need a Black Dog skid plate.
Enjoy it!
Thanks
Chris it was so considerate of you to drop your bike so Richard wouldn't feel so bad About dropping his... 🤣
YES!! That’s it. 🤣🤣
i cant help feeling these bikes are way to big for what you use them for a couple of 350-500 would be way more suitable you will drop them less and if you do they are far easier to pick up
I think you guys have the perfect setup.
Setup is looking good 👍
Thanks for the tips!
Stay Safe
Makes me smile!
awesome
Heeii Richard !! I noticed that your lifestyle has changed since you own a GS !! Great choice you won't never ever regret it 👌
Welcome to my stomping grounds. If still around try Buffalo River and the Low Gap restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Hwy 43 is worth it!
I wasn’t sure how your flatbed would work. But I have to say I love your set up.
I love you guys. I’m glad you upgraded and got a trailer. I think living out of popup tent would be tough for anyone full time.
My home town of Mountain View! Beautiful area! Used to jump off the swinging bridge 25 years ago lmao.
That's the plan!
We really really love the new change. We been with yall a long time and agree it was time to step up a little in comforts and zero was taken away from the two wheels theme. Love it.
We have been looking at a setup like you now have. Enjoyed.
It’s just a ride until … something goes wrong, -then it’s an adventure😎👍
Yes sometimes to much adventure.
Stumbled upon this vid by chance. I really appreciate how you showed my home state in such a wonderful light. I've been riding the woods and backroads of this state for years and have just scratched the surface. Thanks for sharing. Great edit and inspiring content. You have one more subscriber.
Awesome. Welcome. Thanks for being with us. Cheers
Nice Set up and new bike! Love the bean competition. Awesome! Video! Happy 😃 New Year! 🎉 My Friends!
Stay warm.

Awesome. Thanks Tim. Cheers
SHALOM PRECIOUS ONES 💞 Hershey Pa ❤️ thanks for taking me along 💞("mama d 77")
Been following a long since the beginning. I love the changes you have made on your trip. Everyone makes changes in their lives. You're still on the road and doing your adventures on two wheels great video. God made us intelligent enough to conquer our environments there is no reason to sweat your butts off trying to sleep after an incredible day of riding.
I'm so happy for the both of you!
Thanks
ok guys i have checked out your channel a few times its allways been very good, but now that your both on adventure bikes my excitement level is on overdrive. im a current roadglide guy but ready to jump to a pan or gs and this channel is just so encouraging ,love what u guys do .
Thanks so much these kind of comments are encouraging. Thanks again.
You should carry a small set of jumper cables to jump from bike to bike when needed, love you both,
Happy New Year!!
Happy Day after 🤣😎
Great, great and fun video. Thank you so much.
Thanks Betty Jo
Smart to assess the water crossings. If folks haven't considered it, be mindful of weather upstream.
I understand the new camper ,but I would never give up my Harley
Me either. The HD is in storage now. Needing a rebuild.
Kinda bitter sweet as I started following as I ride a road glide and love your channel...but all things change. Just keep on riding and most importantly...keep living.
Love this new and comfortable base camp! Enjoy your ride!
Us too!
Adventuring!!! Love it!
Yes for sure. But the sacrifices are worth it. Oh and I still have the HD she just needs some love
Hello Rich and Chris..
happy new year from the UK.
I think you made a great decision to get the GSA and as you explained have a bike the same year as Chris means you can share tools and other equipment for the two bikes. I like that kind of reasoning!
Next thing I would guess is some trendy Adventure jacket/pant combo Rich to go with the bike…😂😂
We wish you many exciting adventures this year and we look forward to Sunday evenings to see what you guys have been doing.

Love your new setup!
Man I liked it better when they were roughing it with the pop up tent. Now they are glamping not camping. Just my take.
After a Year and half in a tent we needed to do something different. Still about the ride.
It was more interesting, but we need to remember, they live 24 7 in that little camper. Life can be a little more comfortable than that. Good healthy move.
Congrats on the new bike! Happy New Year!
Thanks glad you enjoy
Excellent start to Season 6!!!
Great choice on changing out the bike for the style of adventure both of you enjoy. Keep the smile ! / Rad from Idaho
Thanks
Hey, just saw your trip to Leakey video. Sorry you missed the largest oak tree in Rio Frio. You drive right by it and don't realise it's just 1 tree and not a yard full of trees. We live in Leakey and ride as well. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for posting and love to see more trips.
Loving this new adventure, the camper looks very comfy, happy and safe travel in 2022🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
My compressor came with a SAE pigtail extension that can be used to jump to/from another bike/car. Always a good idea to have on hand.
You guys are killing it! Really happy for you!
I love your new setup....
Fan for life💯🧡🤘🏽. Crater of Diamonds is a must see. Go get a diamond 💎 it’s public diamond mine.
We heard about that. We will go back for that Thanks.
Next time you’re in Arkansas, come see us in Eureka Springs. It’s at the top of the Pig Trail. Enjoy! 👍🏻
Looking forward to the new avenger, Those bikes looks like they fit right into your lifestyle 🍺
They are!
