Dang, I didn't know leopards would go for swim baits, I've caught Leopards on live perch, and squid, but never on artificial, might have to try it! Nice fight! And nice fish!
Dude, I’ve only caught 3 leopards around 24-28 inch using 20 lb mono leader. Is that ok for targeting 36 and bigger or I really need a stronger leader. Nice awesome video! Keep it up👍
Gteam Outdoors thank you !! I always wanted to catch leopard sharks but the only ones I ever caught were under 2ft lol 😆 nice video also bro by the way is this by the Venice pier ?
This was more like a watch me fish video. If this is going to be a "how to" video, then it should show how to actually catch Leopard sharks. And not only how to catch them, but how to catch them with the typical gear that is needed to catch them.
uBreakIt iRepairIt what is the typical gear for you? Because I explained my typical gear.. wire leader so their sand paper teeth don’t cut the line and a swimbait. Caught over 15 4 footers like this. So yes this is my typical set up. Sorry the video didn’t meet your needs. I’ll try better next time
@@GteamOutdoors Typical is what most people would recommend for catching certain species. Example, when catching Mackerel, most people recommend a size 6 hook on a sabiki rig. When catch Bat Ray's, most people recommend chunk mackerel or whole squid pined to a 2/0 or bigger hook.
uBreakIt iRepairIt uBreakIt iRepairIt typical could mean a lot of things for different people. We use small irons to catch mackerel and live sardines to catch bat rays. Like I said earlier.. sorry this video didn’t meet your needs.
