He is an exception. How many 28 years old billionaires you know in the fitness industry or even in general? This is the result of lots of work but also being at the right time and lots of luck. Actually becoming a billionaire for selling courses is way harder and almost impossible. I’m not a fan of fake gurus but some hustle like crazy. Mr beast is a good example probably going to be the first billionaire UA-camr

@@samtavoosian3059 Timing and ideas are never the result behind success execution and hard work is what matters. You’re right There is not a lot 28 year old billionaires in any indystry. But still a lot of successful Young entrepreneurs. When it comes to dtc and e-commerce business there Will be a lot more guys like This commin. 15% of the worlds total retail market share is online. This is just the beginning of these success stories

@@Thjonsson1 I have been a sponsored athlete not gymshark but similar brands so I might have a little more insight than you. Gymshark was the first sportswear brand that brought bodybuilding/fitness into mainstream. This guy actually did the sewing himself in his basement. His friends became extremely famous models by promoting Gymshark. Gymshark brought a new era and revolutionized the fitness industry. They are like the alibaba of their industry and that is their number reason of massive success. They became the FIRST. You are right. There are successful entrepreneurs out there with e commerce business but they’ll never be able to get to this level by selling clothes. Chip Wilson the founder of LuLulemon is a also billionaire and he is 65 years old. This guy’s net worth is an exception example

No disrespect but how on earth can you be worth over a billion dollars selling clothes on a web site? I don’t get it and this is why this video really interested me. I think their marketing strategy is vastly different than their competitors. Gym shark puts more focus on the bodybuilders/models and buying the clothing makes you inspire to be like them/feel like them. Also when you buy gym shark you feel like you’ve joined the “club”, especially when you go to the gym and see the other fitness people wearing gym shark and you want to be like them.

So i guess this is the expectation trend now, where becoming a mid 20’s millionaire is easy and a billionaire isn’t impossible anymore. It’s putting pressure on us beginners to reach that point before 30 years old. Depression anxiety settles in when you read that teenagers with peanut brains are becoming millionaires by doing little to no effort.
I live in a small country where all i hear is “You’re only 24, you have a lot of time” Then you read titles like this that either make or break your motivations. I feel hopelessly behind, to the point where i’d settle for a few rental properties and a steady salary. Mind you that it has nothing to do with envy or jealousy.

Not at all man! It’s here to inspire, this guy has done so you can do it too. Everyone has a different life, interests, experiences, environment. What’s important is to be happy in this crazy world, and this guy did it his way. Some people become millionaire in their sixties. Some people are even happy with a regular 9 to 5 job.
I’m 28, started my business at 25 and have still 0 profit and failed multiple times, and the interview helped me.

It doesn't matter how old you are, you'll never be the youngest, richest or best at anything.
Just don't give up and eventually you'll hit one big thing.

I couldn’t watch the whole thing just because not a fan of the brand at all. They just pretty much got everyone wearing it in under contract. It wasn’t for the normal bodybuilder person so it attracted smaller people that wanted to show off their body in the same type of way with the tight clothes in the tank tops. About 10 years ago people wouldn’t dare wear those tank tops unless they were over 240 pounds ripped plus. There’s nothing special about the brand at all or the lookBut hey the guy made a ton of money so he did a model right but I see it dwindling away now the brand

I've been following Gym Shark LONG before it became this thing that other people copy after. In fact, before it launched, it was still a rumoring idea that @mattogus and @chrislavado showed to us if vibed with it and he really put all of his money on the line to see if we'd buy. I was completely broke at the time and remember I was so driven to help support them and put money down on it and when they went to their first expo and showed it off. Some of their very first athletes like Chris Guzman left immediately knowing what this was about to become and made Alphalete which is a direct competitor to his brand Gymshark in the USA. Love both brands and the people behind them. Without them all, I can honestly say I wouldn't have lost 110lb in 1.5 years because of the environment they created.
