No disrespect but how on earth can you be worth over a billion dollars selling clothes on a web site? I don’t get it and this is why this video really interested me. You were also making your own clothes.i am amazed. Maybe it was a massive element of luck and timing
It goes for everything James. Amazon, Starbucks, No.2 pencils, whatever the heck is out there can be at a certain point diluted to a simple transaction between people. That's good for all of us!
I think their marketing strategy is vastly different than their competitors. Gym shark puts more focus on the bodybuilders/models and buying the clothing makes you inspire to be like them/feel like them. Also when you buy gym shark you feel like you’ve joined the “club”, especially when you go to the gym and see the other fitness people wearing gym shark and you want to be like them.
Doesn't have to be special when you are billionaire! He deserves this interview because he took a product you probably thought was just like everything else and made it a Billion dollar business. That's amazing 😍

So i guess this is the expectation trend now, where becoming a mid 20’s millionaire is easy and a billionaire isn’t impossible anymore. It’s putting pressure on us beginners to reach that point before 30 years old. Depression anxiety settles in when you read that teenagers with peanut brains are becoming millionaires by doing little to no effort. I live in a small country where all i hear is “You’re only 24, you have a lot of time” Then you read titles like this that either make or break your motivations. I feel hopelessly behind, to the point where i’d settle for a few rental properties and a steady salary. Mind you that it has nothing to do with envy or jealousy.
Not at all man! It’s here to inspire, this guy has done so you can do it too. Everyone has a different life, interests, experiences, environment. What’s important is to be happy in this crazy world, and this guy did it his way. Some people become millionaire in their sixties. Some people are even happy with a regular 9 to 5 job. I’m 28, started my business at 25 and have still 0 profit and failed multiple times, and the interview helped me.
The thing is, when it comes it comes fast and everything changes for couple years. It doesn't matter how old you are, you'll never be the youngest, richest or best at anything. Just don't give up and eventually you'll hit one big thing.
Don't even think about it 😂. I see your brain thinking , if I can only get my hands on some of those original shirts, I can make $$$$. Some people are always look in 4 opportunity.
Listening to Ben, I can relate to many things what he said, his body language and his vision to Richard Branson. Great minds! Thanks for sharing Pat & team!
What a great interview! I’m going to share this with my brother Omar who has a dream very similar Ben! And my brother is a bodybuilder and hard worker! 🙏🏽
When i was bodybuilding in 2012 / 2013 me and my brother had issues finding stringer shirts that fit us. We found gym shark and bought their products. Shipped from the u.k.
I couldn’t watch the whole thing just because not a fan of the brand at all. They just pretty much got everyone wearing it in under contract. It wasn’t for the normal bodybuilder person so it attracted smaller people that wanted to show off their body in the same type of way with the tight clothes in the tank tops. About 10 years ago people wouldn’t dare wear those tank tops unless they were over 240 pounds ripped plus. There’s nothing special about the brand at all or the lookBut hey the guy made a ton of money so he did a model right but I see it dwindling away now the brand
I've been following Gym Shark LONG before it became this thing that other people copy after. In fact, before it launched, it was still a rumoring idea that @mattogus and @chrislavado showed to us if vibed with it and he really put all of his money on the line to see if we'd buy. I was completely broke at the time and remember I was so driven to help support them and put money down on it and when they went to their first expo and showed it off. Some of their very first athletes like Chris Guzman left immediately knowing what this was about to become and made Alphalete which is a direct competitor to his brand Gymshark in the USA. Love both brands and the people behind them. Without them all, I can honestly say I wouldn't have lost 110lb in 1.5 years because of the environment they created.
No reward without risk. before the huge 30k in 30 minutes pay day he had already been grinding making 2-3hundred pounds a day = 6000 monthly. success takes time

Valuetainment is the best channel. Pat you are a legend!
I will definitely show this to my teenage sons as usual a brilliant interview thank you Patrick
Highly inspiring. Thank you!
Use "Ben Francis" in your title of video it'll help the algorithm for someone to find your channel who is looking for him 👏 👏 👏 Great stuff PBD
Great entrepreneurial lesson from a successful Entrepreneur. Thanks, Ben for sharing your legacy.

Great interview! Ben seems like a driven person with a purpose. Most people would be fortunate to have such a mindset in whatever they do.
Thanks Pat. Very inspiring. 👌
Listening to Ben, I can relate to many things what he said, his body language and his vision to Richard Branson. Great minds! Thanks for sharing Pat & team!

A lot of hard work and dedication put in!
Loved this interview. Super down to earth person with great worth ethic and passion for what he's building. Very inspiring! thank you.
So inspiring, thank you so much Pat, you keep getting amazing guests.
All the way from South Africa, Soweto
his story is very inspirational and I'm glad he is sharing his story.
30:37 Ben: "Invest in the community and the product rather than in thousands of shops around the world."
I read this when i heard him say it lol
@@darshshah79 haha
Never heard of Gymshark but this is an amazing story. I can’t think of any other billionaires in the fitness industry.
Kevin Plank-Under Armour, Chip Wilson-LuLu Lemon.
Phil Knight - Nike
Gymshark is EVERYWHERE in Europe. ALL the girls i know at least have 1 pair of leggings from them. And yeah, they look good af in them hehe
I didn’t know the owner of gym shark didn’t even lift
He barely has any history of working out and doesnt really mention it much in the interview
He probably doesn't spend a lot of time working out, probably has his week busy with work
Most of the people wear his shit pretend to be a gym shark.
Great interview... the only thing that poked my eye was when he was talking about his mum - she’s a black doctor?? Com’on
Great interview! A lot of different kinds of questions than usual for Ben
What a great interview! I’m going to share this with my brother Omar who has a dream very similar Ben! And my brother is a bodybuilder and hard worker! 🙏🏽
Pat is asking all the right questions man! Thanks for that. It can really relate to me
This is 🔥🔥 Pat! Would love to see you and Gilbert Milam . Founder of the cannabis empire “Cookies”. Amazing work from you & the team! 🚀
Keep up the great work Pat. Your interview skill is second to none currently.
is he a billionaire or his company valued at a billion dollars there is a difference
Taxes are high in UK , I only have 300k net worth and live in Australia where taxes are more bullshit
Amazing interview! Well done Ben👏
Is amazing to think this guy is twice as wealthy as Arnold Schwarzenegger
There’s nothing special about the brand at all or the lookBut hey the guy made a ton of money so he did a model right but I see it dwindling away now the brand
the discipline this guy had and ability to take risks is amazing and should be admired. great interview
All I know is that I’ve been seeing shirts with the logo everywhere... it’s like the Supreme for meatheads.
I am seriously not doing something right haha...
Hats off to this young man! Congrats and continued success!
He's such an inspiration! 🔝✅
Damn curry, man, so inspirational
👊🏾👏🏽👏🏽
This Guy is Really SMART!!!

SAY I DIRECTED YOU~~.....
No reward without risk. before the huge 30k in 30 minutes pay day he had already been grinding making 2-3hundred pounds a day = 6000 monthly. success takes time
Great story!!! I would like to know how did Mr. Ben Francis acquire the start up capital for Gym Shark?
25:35 Spent every penny on growth, community, and meeting people.
Man I'm sorry, but never heard of gymshark.
Me either🥸....😉
Shows you how big the world is 😂
