ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും മനോഹരമായ പത്ത് ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായി പാലക്കാട് ഉള്ള കൊല്ലങ്കോടിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത് അറിഞ്ഞു കാണുമല്ലോ. സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ ഈ വിശേഷം അറിഞ്ഞതിനുശേഷം ആണ് ഞാനും കൊല്ലങ്കോട് എത്തിയത്. ഇവിടുത്തെ വിശേഷങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയത് ചെല്ലൻ ചേട്ടന്റെ ചായ കടയിലാണ്. ചെല്ലൻ ചേട്ടന്റെ കടയിലെ ചായയും പരിപ്പുവടയും കഴിച്ചാണ് ഈ യാത്ര ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ചെല്ലൻചേട്ടന്റെയും ചെന്തമാരാക്ഷി അമ്മയുടെയും കൂടെ കുറച്ചു നേരം ചിലവഴിച്ചത്തിനു ശേഷം അവിടുന്ന് 2km അകലെയുള്ള പ്രകൃതി ക്ഷേത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി നീങ്ങി 🥰 കൂടുതൽ വിശേഷങ്ങൾ വീഡിയോയിൽ ഉണ്ട്, കാണുക നിങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുക.
Kollengode:
Kollengode is another village 19 kms south of Palakkad, known for its vast stretches of verdant paddy fields. The Kollengode Palace built in the traditional style of Kerala architecture is a major attraction here. The place is also famous for the Kachamkurissi temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Hindu god) and a memorial for the renowned poet P. Kunhiraman Nair.
For adventure lovers, Seetharkundu, Govindamalai and Nelliyampathy hills nearby Kollengode are ideal locations for trekking.
Kollengode railway station is located at Oottara and it is connected with Palakkad, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Pollachi, Palani, Madurai, Thiruchendur.
Kollengode is also connected by major bus routes. State highway SH-58 is passing through Kollengode. The kollengode-Palakkad route is one of the major roads in the state. Buses are available to Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Calicut, Coimbatore, Pollachi, etc.
The nearest Airport is Coimbatore which is around 70 km from Kollengode. Cochin International Airport is around 110 km away from Kollengode and the distance to the Calicut Airport is around 125 km.
Chinganchira Temple:
A place of large Banyan trees and a Nature temple near Seetharkundu waterfalls)is about 10 km from Kollengode in Palakkad district.(About 2 Kms from Kollengode towards Pollachi route and take right turn and proceed for about 7-8 Kms). Devotees throng the Nature temple on some particular days like Tue, Fri & Sunday for sacrificing fowls, performing pujas and thanks-giving to the deity. A number of Cinemas and Video Albums has been shot here...
