I am 12 totems away from 99ing emerald... the cutscene is burned into my brain. Also floodray in diamond was my first "limit cut" mechanic so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I'd definitely recommend running it MINE if you get the chance.
Please don't do diamond mine. I healed it as a SCH when I had just gotten the min ilv needed for it. Outrage SUCKED to heal. Soil, seraph, dawn, indom and succor spam
I had to 99 Hades, oh man… a few people began to recognize me running Hade runs for like a week to get the totems. Because I was being nice and help teaching new framers the mechanics. The only luck I had in running Hades was getting three of the crafting materials, which I’m keeping to make into stuff once my crafters are high enough levels
Really would have liked to hear how many runs the titania fight took for a full group to get their mounts. It'd give a much better indication of drop rates than the individual notes on it from other parties. And I'm amazed meteors is the only seat of sacrifice wipe mechanic you saw. Some parties I've been in fine incredibly creative ways to fail that fight repeatedly XD
I got lucky. It dropped on my first run ever and luckily had the highest roll. However, my understanding is that most of the time, it will take about 50 runs unless you’re lucky.
Got 4 during Shadowbringers, absolutely adored the Hades fight ; it was a beautiful dance (and of course sitting on the D, iykyk). Nice to know that Ruby, Emerald and SoS should be reasonable to go back and go for, always ended up just too busy...
Back when Hades was current there was a set of markers that put a safe spot to just stand still and you would automatically solve hexas. It was very funny.
Little correction for hades farm. You dont need a single healer for that fight as ascian primes doom falls off like the other debuffs if you kill him before they expire. And as for the party being low health after, the only ones who need the health anyway are tanks and they got self heals for days unsync so its w/e

I still have Innocence and Seat of Sacrifice awaiting me on my gwib grind -- Innocence I've just been lazy about because of how easy it is, but I'm glad to hear some tips for SoS since everyone calls it the hardest. My worst grind was actually Titania, and by no fault of the fight itself. I made the timing mistake of still being on my Titania gwib grind when the patch that introduced her shiny weapons dropped, and oh boy. I don't know if it was just Crystal PF, but everyone seemed to think "these mats sell for a lot of gil" and "I've heard this takes zero brain cells, so I can join a room easy peasy and clear without effort", so people came out of the woodworks. So many rooms had folks who didn't know to stand in their puddle, or really to stand in any puddle. They didn't understand the concept of slowing DPS at the % thresholds mentioned in the PF (even when someone sound-effect macro'd "STOP DPS"), or tanks didn't realize they had to take tethers. Plus, there were a good number of people trying to join a farm party with their freshly-lvl-80 char who was still wearing a mishmash of lv70-80 gear. It became such a shitshow that I had to implement ilvl min requirements to try to weed out some folks, and get my FC in on the farm so we had a couple of people I could guarantee were competent.
I, too had a personal hell in farming Emerald Weapon. I think I had to do it some 89 times. Back when it was current content. I felt blessed though, because at least I got a lot of Emerald Platings along the way which I thought would rake in big gil in the future. Unfortunately, you already know that the weapons all look ugly and the glow looks lame as hell. The price of the platings cratered as a result. One final middle finger from this horrible grind.
I took part in several groups that did the Emerald Weapon before I got it. On the last one I did one of the other players was near to getting 99 totems. Since they were so close they passed on getting the gwibs when they dropped. They got their 99 totems, then rode off into the sunset, never to touch the Emerald Weapon fight again. A true cowboy.
Emerald weapon on content was so bad to farm, cutscene, and parties not being able to do Terminus and disbanding was one of the most depressing thing ive ever done in this entire game and one of the only times ive seen true toxicity in my 5 years of playing

It's wild to look back and see how many mechanics get skipped! I got all my gwibs on content and didn't really have a tough time, but I did want to get Diamond over and done with when I finally got the fight down. My mistake was thinking I could finish all 50 runs in a single day... never making that mistake again! Wasn't sure if it was just Aether PF, but DiaEX was surprisingly difficult (especially keeping people alive for dog tethers and Flood Ray). I'm not sure how many people know about the Cheese Spot in Hades phase 3 during exaflares, you stand in that exact spot and don't have to move for the entire phase (even on content that was a lifesaver!)
As someone who took a break during ShB and didn't do any of these Ex besides the first two, this is super useful! I've been putting it off cuz I was scared I was gonna need to learn the fights, but hearing they are basically faceroll now is really relieving
I've been stupidly afraid of DW and WOL ever since SHB and they've been the only ones I haven't farmed yet. But hearing that they're both now basically just Normal+, that makes me feel a lot more comfortable
Great Vid, i remember farming those last year too and my personal hell was Emerald Weapon since i had to do 99 times for the mount so yeah it was 'fun'. I'm glad that current extremes don't have so much downtime and cutscenes so it's more bearable to farm. Also, i believe the reason some fights drop 2 totems is because, in Diamond case it's the last trial of the expansion and for Hades is the last trial of 5.0 MSQ (even though i think the EX came out in 5.1)
doing gwib farms on content was very fun, im thankful that i got lucky on ruby and titania that i didn't have to farm them for long but 99-ing the warrior of light.
Cloud Deck EX is prolly the first time they did a "2-totem-per-run" EX, that's why all the others don't. In Endwalker, so far only the first 2 EX drops 1 totem, the other fights drop 2 totems having CS in the middle or not. It seems that SE will normalize 2 totems per run now. Edit: Oh, ignore me, Hades EX drop 2 as well. But either way, it was not a common thing until EW. In EW, SE seems to be normalizing dropping 2 totems
I assume the way they do it in EW is how we will see it be done in the future, so apart from the first 2 Ex-Trials in an expansion all drop 2 totems. Which is better than before, although I would have liked it more if they simply lowered the cost of the mount to 50 instead
Rathalos as well, 2 scales drop per run to get that dragon; that was StormBlood. But yes, this is the first time Primals dropped 2 per run with those totems.
Did all of these on content, but man, do i not have fond memories. 88 totems innocence 27 totems titania 99 hades 99 ruby 52 WOL 52 Emerald 99 Diamond All in totems. And the most painful memory was probably Diamond? Because it really was not a hard fight, just do the platform swaps and pay attention to hands but party finder, absolutely, SUCKED WITH IT, IT WAS UNREAL. Like, farm groups would just continue to wipe to dog phase because someone cant look around, or wipe to towers because someone did an "oopsie :P" 20 times in a row, or healers forgetting tanks exist, a lot of things could go wrong with diamond, but it was all basic things that could be easily avoided. I hate it. It gives me ptsd. i get diamond in trials roulette and i want to leave instance, i dont want to see this fight ever again
Currently working on Gwibs myself. All I got left is Ruby Weapon and WOL. Apart from Innocence being a stingy asshole, the others weren't too bad. Ruby is being kinda mean, and haven't even tried WOL EX yet. My only problems were that for a while I was a level ~84 SMN, now I have a lvl 90 ilvl 640 SMN, much easier and quicker. I really, REALLY want the robot dragon as my primary mount for Endwalker, just like how I had Model-O and Kamuy of the Nine Tails as my main mounts for SHB.
6:53 Hi, I am the unlucky one on Ruby Weapon. I got my Ruby gwibber after *NINTY FOUR* runs of Ruby Weapon. One day I progged it for six hours and didn't see a single horn drop. I have not been back to Cinder Drift (Extreme) since I got the mount, it left such a poor taste in my mouth. I had to buy the Diamond Weapon gwibber too, but Diamond was infinitely more tolerable because it dropped two totems AND I STILL DID DIAMOND LESS THAN RUBY.
Great video, but "gwib" is driving me crazy. "Gwiber" is pronounced "gwye-ber" why are you saying "gwib" lol! I've only got Diamond and WoL to go, and I've been wanting to farm Titania and Hades again just for the mats.
Just wanted to say I really enjoy your content!! I've been playing since HW at a turbo casual level but I've recently started dipping my toes into harder content and your videos have been really fun and relatable in that regard. Playing higher tier content with friends has definitely reignited my love for this game and I'm happy to see these things from the perspective of a newer player as well. Looking forward to the next vid! In regards to gwibs, I've been duoing them as WAR/WAR and so far Innocence and Titania have been really easy. Both of us got Innocence gwibs within 10 runs, Titania is taking a bit longer to drop but we are only running a couple a day so it's not too bad. Hopefully the later ones are duo-able as well but if not I'm feeling a lot more confident about using PF and stuff nowadays!
It's funny cause I had bad luck with all of them ruby weapon and emerald weapon were like my least favorite. It really became a make it to the second phase type of fight. Teaching a new party about the first part of Emerald weapon is the worst. Soaking of orbs can be so confusing if you don't look at a guide.
Shadowbringer mount farm is painfull . So far shadowbring extreme trial mount farm is so bad for drop rates its actually sad that u have to do a possiable 99 kills to even get the mount cause the drop rate is so bad . I dont even wanna think how bad endwalker extreme trial mount farming will be , prayage its better than shadownbringers farm .
Did my gwibs 2 weeks ago. Emerald took 4 days 82 totems on crystal and dear God it was hell as most runs people fail orbs and ignore markers. It was always the same 3 incompetent people in every farm session. Zerg if you're reading this I'm praying on your downfall for not knowing the fight after 47 sessions
You can not pay me to go back to emerald ex. For context I did this in 6.2. But hades was a single party about an hour and we all had mounts. Then in sos I had a level 90 character that didnt know the difference between a tower and a stack causing us to constantly wipe. Pretty sure I got reported for yelling at them cause like a few months later I was taken to gm jail and by that time I stopped talking to people in game unless I was raiding. Edit: forgot to mention it wasn’t once or twice before I got mad. We had wiped to the same thing about 5-7 times and they still didn’t learn the difference and kept doing the same thing like it would just magically work.
Diamond was painful for me, but that was my fault. I did it when it was current, and did just shy of 150 clears, because I already had all of the other gwibs and didn't want to wait until you could buy it with totems to get the completion mount. At least the fight is fun? Edit: I ended up buying the mount anyway, because the patch that would make it buyable was so close by that point.
I had to 99 Emereald and i wanted to kill myself by the end of it due to 47 consectutive runs with groups who couldn't do orbs and saw enrage during patch 6.2 ;__;
i did this recently, some of it with my fc friends, these are so easy we would troll eachother and purposefully arm mechs at eachother n stuff, and it maybe slowed down like 2 runs overall. purposefully stealing the tether from our tank in titania, aiming spreads at eachother in diamon ect,, was a lot more fun with friends
Gotta have a laugh when you called emerald longer than diamond weapon even 'on content' which is flat out false. Emerald went fast enough that you physically couldn't not get an LB3 before enrage on either phase and Diamond had so much health it was a consistent 15 min fight each clear with Emerald being maybe 8 in a well geared team.
WOL is either wow this party is really good and clear like 5-10 times but someday I can't even get 1 clear. I totem 3 of the longest fight WOL, Hades, Emerald.
Honestly I prefer farming mounts this way instead of doing them on release. It's fast and easy but not SO easy that you can just do it without thinking, but you can consistently clear the fight. Unlike current EX trials which take a few minutes and PF is so incompetent that clearing is rare. Just getting the weapon on those is all I'm willing to farm them for now.
Emerald Weapon EX was indeed a pain to farm. I grinded them all out during ShB, and it was easily the most annoying one to do. Not the hardest per say, but hands down the most annoying
yeah i never wrote mount farm on hades, but material farm, for this one, lying is nice hahaha i think mine is pretty fast to farm but longest is diamond (99 totems) and hades (96 totems) but i really dont mind on hades because totem are exchange able to weapons and desynthesis it, pretty lucky back there i got 7 auracites just from totems, huge gil there
i remember when i did emerald weapon 75 runs of pain but i figured out that the exploding swords attack could be cheesed with my trust paladin invuln, didnt even get a vuln stack for it this was half a year ago so the damage was worse i think one unsynced run was like 5 minutes or more which sucked
I got really lucky with most of my gwibs. I started playing in patch 5.3, so by the time I got to the end of ShB, EW launch was only a couple of months away. Thus, I didn't get to farm most of them before they could be unsynced. I got the Titania gwib after 2 runs, Innocence after 7, and got Ruby literally my first clear.
Went through 58 runs of Immaculate today and no Gwib. My last roll was a 92 (all prior were sub 50) and still lost the roll. 😢 the fight is fast but those 58 battles took > 5 hours thanks to PF BS and scooting shenanigans. I can’t blame people for not wanting to run / farm this content due to the reliability (or lack there of) from other members. If you have a static or at least a discord it will make these infinitely easier / quicker. If they didn’t give out a totem I wouldn’t even bother. Great vid / advice.
I'm not sure why the material was mentionned so often, but that Innoncence will forever be worth lil is mainly since it is the accs EX while all others drops weapons. So people can "Invest" by getting the one without Glowy weapons for when the glowy comes out, big money! Seeing the Diamond Weapon EX visual you provided, for me it was my first ever EX in FFXIV, I love the fight, I respect it, and then I see this super curse stuff at how everything is just being IGNORED xD My baby floating shunk of diamond used to be so much more menacing nooooooooo 🤣🤣 I remember being SUPER LUCKY for it. Back on content, so the mount drop is stupid low 1%. It was my last gwib I needed, it dropped first run, i got it first time. I was done 😎 Oh no Hades... I slayed that thing around 200 times... I got my mount at around 90 totems, so 40 kills. BUT THE MAT. THE MAT I NEVER GOT (For context I own a house and my pride and joy is to fill the main room with every single EX housing item trophy. So it's my adventures treasure room! I got all EX housing items :) Showing I've cleared them all) But ye, getting a singular Hades mat was so painful 😭 Also was surprised to not see the "Dodge everything marker". Usually, back then, people would have a C marker that if stand in it perfectly middle you'll dodge EVERYTHING for that last phase [Except tank having to move for soaking towers]. I guess nowdays you just skip so much HOW LOW AS WARRIOR OF LIGHT DROPPED!?? WHAAA Gosh farming him was the WORST. Adds were always SO MESSY and the quintruple cast was hell to remember sometimes. Gosh and now Meteors mess some people?!?!?! dang I did all these back during the ShB Content drought, so couldn't skip much if nothing. One thing is I never saw enrages. Crazy to see fights I did on content or on Expansion being done like they are JOKES 🤣🤣 Congrats on your Waffle dragon! I have most of the mounts already but I'm missing both Emerald and Diamond ( looking forward to suffering :') ) I started with chronological story trials first. Titania was okay when we got the mechanics down and the farm was relatively quick for me since I rolled high on the last mount to pop up, same with Innocence, just about everyone got theirs from what I remember. With Hades there's actually a spot where you can stand on and avoid all of the exa-flares and dps the boss so that made farming quite easy. WoL's mount I remember being painful to get due to grinding but I managed to get my mount soon after, Ruby weapon was the same but my group made sure to stay and everyone got their mount during a good 2-3 hour grind. Here's hoping the other 2 fights wont be as bad and I wish everyone else a happy-ish farm.
Ex trials dropping 2 totems was still a new thing at the time. Before Diamond, only Hades dropped 2 and Emerald came before Diamond. Hades was a long fight with an unskippable cutscene at the end with no checkpoint. For Emerald, since it had a checkpoint between phase 1 and 2 they didn't think it was hard enough to warrant 2 totems. Diamond was a long fight AND it dropped a weapon which meant you had 2 things to spend your totems on, the weapon(s) and the mount, that alongside the fight being long, made it drop 2 totems. If you look at EW, the first 2 ex trials only drop 1 totem because those don't have a weapon exchange but every ex after that drops 2 because they have a weapon tied to them.
I join titania exes (I also do hades since I like the fight, but on my server the auracite and dancing wings are the same price so it's usually titania) for mats all the time and it's always a gamble whether or not the fight will be a minute twelve seconds (my fastest time, that group was magical) to three minutes depending on the DPS and if people hold if you're not doing enough dps to skip water rune. Two minutes is about the average though. Out of all the gwibs, I think Seat of Sacrifice gave me the most trouble w/ party finder (not even the meteors, the ad phase where you have to split the ads seemed to throw people off the most from my experience.) Emerald I had a very good group w/ a fantastic main tank who would explain mechs every time we got someone new so people caught on quick.
My gwiber farm took a long time but i did manage to get ruby due to spending ~4 hours with a group farming (with people usually dropping out 1-2 runs after they got theirs) the fight and rolling a 1 typing '1, im kms' and the other guys all passed after, so i got a kinda funny story outta it Hades was a pain, usually failing to the heal check Also i still have that "very well" stuck in my head
I did these unsynced and knew beforehand how annoying ruby and emerald weapons could be. Got super lucky and got both of the mounts in less than 10 runs. I wish I could say the same for farming Ruby Weapon TT card so I guess karma struck back. WoL took the longest, maybe close to 40 runs or so, but it felt the most fun to do luckily (plus farming the card so maybe 50 to 60 rubs in total). On a side note, I wish Memoria Misera had more collectibles to farm than just the TT card since mechanically I really like that extreme.
I farmed all of them while they were current. Titania and Innocence were the fights that introduced me to "high end duties" back in the day. Innocence was super chill as long you were able to bait 1 stack near the end of the fight the correct way. Titania was harder than Innocence because people always fucked up the add phase, to be exact the knockback + vines. Hades was also rather easy and the hardest part was phase 3 with all the debuffs. Ruby phase 1 was the harder phase for sure. The spinning claw attack at the beginning was semi lethal if you had no savage gear / tome gear, also people always baited the laser into the safe spot. The mechs afterward were easy, as long people knew how to rotate and spread. Phase 2 was rather easy, the only hard part were the adds and people needing to dodge a chariot or a dynamo. Emerald was super chill and only the orb mech was something that might have killed groups. Diamond was a fun encounter that tested how good people were a spreading while aoes went off. I'm always farming every Weapon + Mount, so more often then not I ended up with like 130 totems
21:58 there is a strat with 1 tank actually, some people prefer the extra damage enough to risk it, cus it is basically Russian Roulette. Lacking 4 supporting classes, if the meteor picks those it will pick a random DPS for the 4th and that corner might die since it gets 2 meteors sometimes, but 2 people down is okay just pop em back up and the dps makes up for it in speed if it is good enough. It is absolutely safer to do full standard party though
thank you for making this video!!! most unsynced guides are extremely outdated at this point and dont give a good indication of what mechanics are still necessary to do, which likely puts off a lot of people from trying them out. i myself just finished getting my rocket dragon a couple weeks ago, with the longest grinds being emerald weapon and sos (all the others i got around ~20-30 attempts lol) but overall the experience wasnt nearly as bad as i had tricked myself into thinking it was edit: i want to add a saving grace for emeralds orb mech is to look at the northwest orb and if its blue, go clockwise, if its yellow, go counter clockwise. always had runs go smooth when i brought it up 👍
As someone that did all of these fights when they were current and got almost all the mounts (only missed having Titania and Ruby's, but I did farm them a lot during the expac), it is interesting to see how these fights look now when someone comes in to farm these nowadays. For Innocence, even on content he wasn't a threat. He was actually my first EX that I did and it actually got me over my tanxiety that I had about doing harder content with random people. Also you would be right about the Emerald Weapon fight taking longer than Diamond, and I do remember personally being extremely confused when I saw Diamond drop 2 totems as opposed to either Ruby or Emerald only dropping 1 per kill. That said, Emerald stuck out as my favorite fight in the expac and I did actually end up doing well over 100 runs on that fight as I helped friends grind out their mounts when they wanted to Hades I remember it took me the full 100 totems to get the mount, and i'll always remember that fight for the fact that I helped teach a friend that fight and then he ended up getting the mount on his second run, he also then stopped playing the game shortly after so that still kinda hurts to this day :') (Also fun fact, PF actually had markers that I remembered saving for the last phase of the fight where there was one marker that was set on the arena to be a safe spot for the exaflares. Like, everyone stacked on it dead center of it and wouldn't move and the exas would miss everyone entirely) It is interesting to see that even now that Warrior of Light needs a classic setup of 2T, 2H, 4DPS but given the way his LB mechanics work I can see why you can't really cheese it, also still cool that you have to do the tank lb3 to survive his LB4 though I expect that by next expac that probably won't be the cast anymore lol. Also while you don't need this tip anymore since you have the mount, you actually can use DPS lb on the boss but you have to wait until he's in the middle of a cast to do so. It's the only way to hit him with an lb without him using hallowed ground. Overall, really cool video- and since you asked at the end of the video i'll say I ended up needing to go to the full 100 totems for Hades and Emerald, almost had to for Ruby but got all the others easier. I would definitely say that people disliked Ruby and Emerald the most for farming (I remember people complaining about how long they were in there which is understandable) just because of the cutscenes, but at least they were nice to prog when they first came out since they had that unique benefit of having a checkpoint. Just wish there was a way to skip the cutscenes on them lol
Landerwaffe is my favorite of the extreme collection mounts. Robot dragons are cool, and I love that it’s a two seater. I'm looking forward to grinding these trials with the Dawntrail level cap.
I had to buy Hades, Titania and Emerald. The most annoying to farm for me was Ruby cause of the Meteor-rock placement mechanic at the end of phase 2. Hades was imo the best to farm since you got a lot to do while smacking the boss which was fun. Emerald was also a lot of fun but that`s mostly cause I`m a huge sucker the sorrows of Wherlyt-story as a whole and the black wolf stalks again (Emerald phase 2) is my favorite song in the entire OST
It's funny the timing of your video because I was just talking about this with my friends. I put a static together to farm all 7 of these fights so we all can get our mecha dragon. Made some really great friendships during this process. We did this closer to the end of Shadowbringers, however, at the time none of us raided current content. We spent the least amount of time in Hades because he was gracious and gave us our Gwibs after the 14th run. Diamond was the hardest because it was the most current at the time and we struggled with dps and limit cut. We also spent so much time in SOS because he was a greedy AF, and the cutscenes were so long. Thanks for this video! It makes me want to go back and help out more friends.
My friends and I decided to farm out some of the ShB gwibs for those who needed them and we started with Innocence. I did his ex on release and it was a pushover, but doing it now was hilarious. We didn't have a full party with only 6 people and we tried to kill each other more than the boss lol. My luck in ShB was god awful so i never got the gwibs and i really need to go back and run the weapons, then prep for Hades/WoL (i had a LOT of bad hades runs when the ex released and i still dread the fight even if its easier now).
I'm stuck farming Hades and Innocence, Hades groups on crystal are a hit and miss because a lot of groups I go in die to the tethers in phase 2 or 3. Then for Innocence I've just been bad with rolls already at 68 totems.
This is the first time I've done ex trials before unsync I got zodiark and got divine lynx yesterday it dropped 4 times in a row. I also finally completed the gwibers on both my mains rpr and smn this past week since endwalker started
Got them all during pre 6.0, iirc 6.0 was a month away when I got diamond and the me ha dragon. I had to 99 hades and the annoying thing is I rolled on the mount that dropped out of habit cus I wasn't paying attention to my totems and won it.
I did all the grinding back in shawodbringers, and i love every one of these fignts. Ruby was the first EX i ever cleared! Maybe its rose tinted glasses considering the long cutscenes lmao
If I recall emerald weapon when it was relevant was shorter then diamond weapon, even with the cut scene. Though emerald weapon was harder in the 2nd phase and was more likely to wipe so was a longer grind typically.
Just finished watching through all your content, except the ultimate videos since I have yet to do them yet myself. Thank you for making analysis content on FF14, which is shockingly rare considering the size of the game. The ranking of alliance raids for example, and the recent videos on Savages/Extremes especially. It feels like FF14 content creators focus on making guides more than actually talking about the content, perhaps because they blast through it in one week due to their experienced guilds. In any case, my personal input is that I would like to see videos similar to your trial rankings, except done for extremes. I was somewhat disappointed that your existing trial videos were just for normal mode, since I don't even perceive those as actual content. If you could get a semi-static together just for trial EXes it would probably just take a month or two to blast them down at most, and that would be quite a bit of content. One bit of advice would be to use off-class accessories in ARR/HW, and lower ilevel weapons for SB, in order to lower DPS and make the trials survive longer (thereby making the content more rich), but that's just something to consider. Anyway, I have subbed and am looking forward to more analysis content / in-depth reviews.
Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks for this comment. I would eventually like to go through and do ALL of the old savages and extreme fights at MINE to fully experience those parts of the game. It probably won't be for a while since I still need to finish up the savage tier and do the other ultis, but afterwards I would love to cover the old savage and extreme fights in similar ranking style videos for each expansion.
I checked some old logs from when I farmed these in shb, emerald and diamond at their longest both took around 11 minutes, but their shortest was something like 8 minutes emerald and 7 minutes diamond.
adding one more thing: using LB on him doesn't always make him invuln it. he only invulns if it's the 2nd phase and he isn't casting anything when you hit it. it's not 30 seconds either, he has a buff on him that you can see with your eyes that tells you how long it is. I think it's like 6 seconds but it's been a while. the "don't lb him ever" statement is a hilarious myth considering back when this fight was relevant people were using melee LB3 to not die to enrage.
When Diamond Weapon first dropped, it confused us why it gave 2 totems when it wasn't a particularly long fight. But as it was the last trial of the expansion, I didn't mind a shorter grind :P
Yup. Diamond was pretty much mandatory light party per platform back in ShB bc Diamond Rain does damage proportional to the amount of players on each platform. Wasn’t too bad until someone died so you’d Raise them and hop to the other side to keep a 4-4 balance and then they’d hop after you. >.>
Also as to what was most annoying? I had to 99 Titania on Crystal. Every post about skipping x mechanic with good DPS on-content? A lie. I love Crystal but my god. PF on Crystal sucked. Primal wasn’t much better but I did manage to get 6/7 mounts before EW and my seventh like two weeks into EW. Diamond and Titania were the only ones I had to 99.
I am 12 totems away from 99ing emerald... the cutscene is burned into my brain.
Also floodray in diamond was my first "limit cut" mechanic so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I'd definitely recommend running it MINE if you get the chance.

I had to 99 Hades, oh man… a few people began to recognize me running Hade runs for like a week to get the totems. Because I was being nice and help teaching new framers the mechanics. The only luck I had in running Hades was getting three of the crafting materials, which I’m keeping to make into stuff once my crafters are high enough levels
Thankfully it only took 50 runs for Hades, since it gives 2 per. But god that was a grind on content.
I still need to do hades, my only one left, just haven't done it yet.
Also regarding SoS ex, you can do dps LB, BUT the WoL has to be mid cast for you to be able to LB him
Really would have liked to hear how many runs the titania fight took for a full group to get their mounts. It'd give a much better indication of drop rates than the individual notes on it from other parties.
And I'm amazed meteors is the only seat of sacrifice wipe mechanic you saw. Some parties I've been in fine incredibly creative ways to fail that fight repeatedly XD
I got lucky. It dropped on my first run ever and luckily had the highest roll. However, my understanding is that most of the time, it will take about 50 runs unless you’re lucky.
Got 4 during Shadowbringers, absolutely adored the Hades fight ; it was a beautiful dance (and of course sitting on the D, iykyk). Nice to know that Ruby, Emerald and SoS should be reasonable to go back and go for, always ended up just too busy...

Back when Hades was current there was a set of markers that put a safe spot to just stand still and you would automatically solve hexas. It was very funny.
15:00 Diamond Ex on current took on average 9:30min, Emerald 9min + cutscene so they where about the same in length (according to my logs from 2021)
Little correction for hades farm. You dont need a single healer for that fight as ascian primes doom falls off like the other debuffs if you kill him before they expire. And as for the party being low health after, the only ones who need the health anyway are tanks and they got self heals for days unsync so its w/e

I still have Innocence and Seat of Sacrifice awaiting me on my gwib grind -- Innocence I've just been lazy about because of how easy it is, but I'm glad to hear some tips for SoS since everyone calls it the hardest.
My worst grind was actually Titania, and by no fault of the fight itself. I made the timing mistake of still being on my Titania gwib grind when the patch that introduced her shiny weapons dropped, and oh boy. I don't know if it was just Crystal PF, but everyone seemed to think "these mats sell for a lot of gil" and "I've heard this takes zero brain cells, so I can join a room easy peasy and clear without effort", so people came out of the woodworks. So many rooms had folks who didn't know to stand in their puddle, or really to stand in any puddle. They didn't understand the concept of slowing DPS at the % thresholds mentioned in the PF (even when someone sound-effect macro'd "STOP DPS"), or tanks didn't realize they had to take tethers. Plus, there were a good number of people trying to join a farm party with their freshly-lvl-80 char who was still wearing a mishmash of lv70-80 gear. It became such a shitshow that I had to implement ilvl min requirements to try to weed out some folks, and get my FC in on the farm so we had a couple of people I could guarantee were competent.

I, too had a personal hell in farming Emerald Weapon. I think I had to do it some 89 times. Back when it was current content.
I felt blessed though, because at least I got a lot of Emerald Platings along the way which I thought would rake in big gil in the future.
Unfortunately, you already know that the weapons all look ugly and the glow looks lame as hell. The price of the platings cratered as a result. One final middle finger from this horrible grind.
I took part in several groups that did the Emerald Weapon before I got it. On the last one I did one of the other players was near to getting 99 totems. Since they were so close they passed on getting the gwibs when they dropped. They got their 99 totems, then rode off into the sunset, never to touch the Emerald Weapon fight again. A true cowboy.
Emerald weapon on content was so bad to farm, cutscene, and parties not being able to do Terminus and disbanding was one of the most depressing thing ive ever done in this entire game and one of the only times ive seen true toxicity in my 5 years of playing

I got all my gwibs on content and didn't really have a tough time, but I did want to get Diamond over and done with when I finally got the fight down. My mistake was thinking I could finish all 50 runs in a single day... never making that mistake again! Wasn't sure if it was just Aether PF, but DiaEX was surprisingly difficult (especially keeping people alive for dog tethers and Flood Ray).
I'm not sure how many people know about the Cheese Spot in Hades phase 3 during exaflares, you stand in that exact spot and don't have to move for the entire phase (even on content that was a lifesaver!)
As someone who took a break during ShB and didn't do any of these Ex besides the first two, this is super useful! I've been putting it off cuz I was scared I was gonna need to learn the fights, but hearing they are basically faceroll now is really relieving
I've been stupidly afraid of DW and WOL ever since SHB and they've been the only ones I haven't farmed yet. But hearing that they're both now basically just Normal+, that makes me feel a lot more comfortable
Great Vid, i remember farming those last year too and my personal hell was Emerald Weapon since i had to do 99 times for the mount so yeah it was 'fun'. I'm glad that current extremes don't have so much downtime and cutscenes so it's more bearable to farm. Also, i believe the reason some fights drop 2 totems is because, in Diamond case it's the last trial of the expansion and for Hades is the last trial of 5.0 MSQ (even though i think the EX came out in 5.1)
doing gwib farms on content was very fun, im thankful that i got lucky on ruby and titania that i didn't have to farm them for long but

Cloud Deck EX is prolly the first time they did a "2-totem-per-run" EX, that's why all the others don't. In Endwalker, so far only the first 2 EX drops 1 totem, the other fights drop 2 totems having CS in the middle or not. It seems that SE will normalize 2 totems per run now.
Edit: Oh, ignore me, Hades EX drop 2 as well. But either way, it was not a common thing until EW. In EW, SE seems to be normalizing dropping 2 totems
I assume the way they do it in EW is how we will see it be done in the future, so apart from the first 2 Ex-Trials in an expansion all drop 2 totems. Which is better than before, although I would have liked it more if they simply lowered the cost of the mount to 50 instead

Rathalos as well, 2 scales drop per run to get that dragon; that was StormBlood. But yes, this is the first time Primals dropped 2 per run with those totems.

but party finder, absolutely, SUCKED WITH IT, IT WAS UNREAL. Like, farm groups would just continue to wipe to dog phase because someone cant look around, or wipe to towers because someone did an "oopsie :P" 20 times in a row, or healers forgetting tanks exist, a lot of things could go wrong with diamond, but it was all basic things that could be easily avoided. I hate it. It gives me ptsd. i get diamond in trials roulette and i want to leave instance, i dont want to see this fight ever again
Currently working on Gwibs myself. All I got left is Ruby Weapon and WOL. Apart from Innocence being a stingy asshole, the others weren't too bad. Ruby is being kinda mean, and haven't even tried WOL EX yet. My only problems were that for a while I was a level ~84 SMN, now I have a lvl 90 ilvl 640 SMN, much easier and quicker.
I really, REALLY want the robot dragon as my primary mount for Endwalker, just like how I had Model-O and Kamuy of the Nine Tails as my main mounts for SHB.

I got my Ruby gwibber after *NINTY FOUR* runs of Ruby Weapon. One day I progged it for six hours and didn't see a single horn drop. I have not been back to Cinder Drift (Extreme) since I got the mount, it left such a poor taste in my mouth.
I had to buy the Diamond Weapon gwibber too, but Diamond was infinitely more tolerable because it dropped two totems AND I STILL DID DIAMOND LESS THAN RUBY.

I've been playing since HW at a turbo casual level but I've recently started dipping my toes into harder content and your videos have been really fun and relatable in that regard. Playing higher tier content with friends has definitely reignited my love for this game and I'm happy to see these things from the perspective of a newer player as well. In regards to gwibs, I've been duoing them as WAR/WAR and so far Innocence and Titania have been really easy. Both of us got Innocence gwibs within 10 runs, Titania is taking a bit longer to drop but we are only running a couple a day so it's not too bad. Hopefully the later ones are duo-able as well but if not I'm feeling a lot more confident about using PF and stuff nowadays!
It's funny cause I had bad luck with all of them ruby weapon and emerald weapon were like my least favorite. It really became a make it to the second phase type of fight. Teaching a new party about the first part of Emerald weapon is the worst. Soaking of orbs can be so confusing if you don't look at a guide.

So far shadowbring extreme trial mount farm is so bad for drop rates its actually sad that u have to do a possiable 99 kills to even get the mount cause the drop rate is so bad .

Did my gwibs 2 weeks ago. Emerald took 4 days 82 totems on crystal and dear God it was hell as most runs people fail orbs and ignore markers. It was always the same 3 incompetent people in every farm session. Zerg if you're reading this I'm praying on your downfall for not knowing the fight after 47 sessions
You can not pay me to go back to emerald ex. For context I did this in 6.2. But hades was a single party about an hour and we all had mounts. Then in sos I had a level 90 character that didnt know the difference between a tower and a stack causing us to constantly wipe. Pretty sure I got reported for yelling at them cause like a few months later I was taken to gm jail and by that time I stopped talking to people in game unless I was raiding.
Edit: forgot to mention it wasn’t once or twice before I got mad. We had wiped to the same thing about 5-7 times and they still didn’t learn the difference and kept doing the same thing like it would just magically work.
Diamond was painful for me, but that was my fault. I did it when it was current, and did just shy of 150 clears, because I already had all of the other gwibs and didn't want to wait until you could buy it with totems to get the completion mount. At least the fight is fun?
Edit: I ended up buying the mount anyway, because the patch that would make it buyable was so close by that point.
I had to 99 Emereald and i wanted to kill myself by the end of it due to 47 consectutive runs with groups who couldn't do orbs and saw enrage during patch 6.2 ;__;
i did this recently, some of it with my fc friends, these are so easy we would troll eachother and purposefully arm mechs at eachother n stuff, and it maybe slowed down like 2 runs overall. purposefully stealing the tether from our tank in titania, aiming spreads at eachother in diamon ect,, was a lot more fun with friends

Gotta have a laugh when you called emerald longer than diamond weapon even 'on content' which is flat out false. Emerald went fast enough that you physically couldn't not get an LB3 before enrage on either phase and Diamond had so much health it was a consistent 15 min fight each clear with Emerald being maybe 8 in a well geared team.

WOL is either wow this party is really good and clear like 5-10 times but someday I can't even get 1 clear.

Honestly I prefer farming mounts this way instead of doing them on release. It's fast and easy but not SO easy that you can just do it without thinking, but you can consistently clear the fight. Unlike current EX trials which take a few minutes and PF is so incompetent that clearing is rare. Just getting the weapon on those is all I'm willing to farm them for now.
Emerald Weapon EX was indeed a pain to farm. I grinded them all out during ShB, and it was easily the most annoying one to do. Not the hardest per say, but hands down the most annoying

I got really lucky with most of my gwibs. I started playing in patch 5.3, so by the time I got to the end of ShB, EW launch was only a couple of months away. Thus, I didn't get to farm most of them before they could be unsynced. I got the Titania gwib after 2 runs, Innocence after 7, and got Ruby literally my first clear.
Went through 58 runs of Immaculate today and no Gwib. My last roll was a 92 (all prior were sub 50) and still lost the roll. 😢 the fight is fast but those 58 battles took > 5 hours thanks to PF BS and scooting shenanigans. I can’t blame people for not wanting to run / farm this content due to the reliability (or lack there of) from other members. If you have a static or at least a discord it will make these infinitely easier / quicker. If they didn’t give out a totem I wouldn’t even bother. Great vid / advice.
I'm not sure why the material was mentionned so often, but that Innoncence will forever be worth lil is mainly since it is the accs EX while all others drops weapons. So people can "Invest" by getting the one without Glowy weapons for when the glowy comes out, big money!
Seeing the Diamond Weapon EX visual you provided, for me it was my first ever EX in FFXIV, I love the fight, I respect it, and then I see this super curse stuff at how everything is just being IGNORED xD My baby floating shunk of diamond used to be so much more menacing nooooooooo 🤣🤣 I remember being SUPER LUCKY for it. Back on content, so the mount drop is stupid low 1%. It was my last gwib I needed, it dropped first run, i got it first time. I was done 😎
Oh no Hades... I slayed that thing around 200 times... I got my mount at around 90 totems, so 40 kills. BUT THE MAT. THE MAT I NEVER GOT (For context I own a house and my pride and joy is to fill the main room with every single EX housing item trophy. So it's my adventures treasure room! I got all EX housing items :) Showing I've cleared them all) But ye, getting a singular Hades mat was so painful 😭
Also was surprised to not see the "Dodge everything marker". Usually, back then, people would have a C marker that if stand in it perfectly middle you'll dodge EVERYTHING for that last phase [Except tank having to move for soaking towers]. I guess nowdays you just skip so much

I started with chronological story trials first. Titania was okay when we got the mechanics down and the farm was relatively quick for me since I rolled high on the last mount to pop up, same with Innocence, just about everyone got theirs from what I remember. With Hades there's actually a spot where you can stand on and avoid all of the exa-flares and dps the boss so that made farming quite easy. WoL's mount I remember being painful to get due to grinding but I managed to get my mount soon after, Ruby weapon was the same but my group made sure to stay and everyone got their mount during a good 2-3 hour grind. Here's hoping the other 2 fights wont be as bad and I wish everyone else a happy-ish farm.
Ex trials dropping 2 totems was still a new thing at the time. Before Diamond, only Hades dropped 2 and Emerald came before Diamond. Hades was a long fight with an unskippable cutscene at the end with no checkpoint. For Emerald, since it had a checkpoint between phase 1 and 2 they didn't think it was hard enough to warrant 2 totems. Diamond was a long fight AND it dropped a weapon which meant you had 2 things to spend your totems on, the weapon(s) and the mount, that alongside the fight being long, made it drop 2 totems. If you look at EW, the first 2 ex trials only drop 1 totem because those don't have a weapon exchange but every ex after that drops 2 because they have a weapon tied to them.
I join titania exes (I also do hades since I like the fight, but on my server the auracite and dancing wings are the same price so it's usually titania) for mats all the time and it's always a gamble whether or not the fight will be a minute twelve seconds (my fastest time, that group was magical) to three minutes depending on the DPS and if people hold if you're not doing enough dps to skip water rune. Two minutes is about the average though.
Out of all the gwibs, I think Seat of Sacrifice gave me the most trouble w/ party finder (not even the meteors, the ad phase where you have to split the ads seemed to throw people off the most from my experience.)
Emerald I had a very good group w/ a fantastic main tank who would explain mechs every time we got someone new so people caught on quick.
My gwiber farm took a long time but i did manage to get ruby due to spending ~4 hours with a group farming (with people usually dropping out 1-2 runs after they got theirs) the fight and rolling a 1 typing '1, im kms' and the other guys all passed after, so i got a kinda funny story outta it
Hades was a pain, usually failing to the heal check
Also i still have that "very well" stuck in my head
I did these unsynced and knew beforehand how annoying ruby and emerald weapons could be. Got super lucky and got both of the mounts in less than 10 runs. I wish I could say the same for farming Ruby Weapon TT card so I guess karma struck back. WoL took the longest, maybe close to 40 runs or so, but it felt the most fun to do luckily (plus farming the card so maybe 50 to 60 rubs in total). On a side note, I wish Memoria Misera had more collectibles to farm than just the TT card since mechanically I really like that extreme.
I farmed all of them while they were current.
Titania and Innocence were the fights that introduced me to "high end duties" back in the day. Innocence was super chill as long you were able to bait 1 stack near the end of the fight the correct way. Titania was harder than Innocence because people always fucked up the add phase, to be exact the knockback + vines.
Hades was also rather easy and the hardest part was phase 3 with all the debuffs.
Ruby phase 1 was the harder phase for sure. The spinning claw attack at the beginning was semi lethal if you had no savage gear / tome gear, also people always baited the laser into the safe spot. The mechs afterward were easy, as long people knew how to rotate and spread. Phase 2 was rather easy, the only hard part were the adds and people needing to dodge a chariot or a dynamo.
Emerald was super chill and only the orb mech was something that might have killed groups.
Diamond was a fun encounter that tested how good people were a spreading while aoes went off.
I'm always farming every Weapon + Mount, so more often then not I ended up with like 130 totems
21:58 there is a strat with 1 tank actually, some people prefer the extra damage enough to risk it, cus it is basically Russian Roulette. Lacking 4 supporting classes, if the meteor picks those it will pick a random DPS for the 4th and that corner might die since it gets 2 meteors sometimes, but 2 people down is okay just pop em back up and the dps makes up for it in speed if it is good enough. It is absolutely safer to do full standard party though
thank you for making this video!!! most unsynced guides are extremely outdated at this point and dont give a good indication of what mechanics are still necessary to do, which likely puts off a lot of people from trying them out. i myself just finished getting my rocket dragon a couple weeks ago, with the longest grinds being emerald weapon and sos (all the others i got around ~20-30 attempts lol) but overall the experience wasnt nearly as bad as i had tricked myself into thinking it was
edit: i want to add a saving grace for emeralds orb mech is to look at the northwest orb and if its blue, go clockwise, if its yellow, go counter clockwise. always had runs go smooth when i brought it up 👍
As someone that did all of these fights when they were current and got almost all the mounts (only missed having Titania and Ruby's, but I did farm them a lot during the expac), it is interesting to see how these fights look now when someone comes in to farm these nowadays.
For Innocence, even on content he wasn't a threat. He was actually my first EX that I did and it actually got me over my tanxiety that I had about doing harder content with random people.
Also you would be right about the Emerald Weapon fight taking longer than Diamond, and I do remember personally being extremely confused when I saw Diamond drop 2 totems as opposed to either Ruby or Emerald only dropping 1 per kill. That said, Emerald stuck out as my favorite fight in the expac and I did actually end up doing well over 100 runs on that fight as I helped friends grind out their mounts when they wanted to
Hades I remember it took me the full 100 totems to get the mount, and i'll always remember that fight for the fact that I helped teach a friend that fight and then he ended up getting the mount on his second run, he also then stopped playing the game shortly after so that still kinda hurts to this day :') (Also fun fact, PF actually had markers that I remembered saving for the last phase of the fight where there was one marker that was set on the arena to be a safe spot for the exaflares. It is interesting to see that even now that Warrior of Light needs a classic setup of 2T, 2H, 4DPS but given the way his LB mechanics work I can see why you can't really cheese it, also still cool that you have to do the tank lb3 to survive his LB4 though I expect that by next expac that probably won't be the cast anymore lol. Also while you don't need this tip anymore since you have the mount, you actually can use DPS lb on the boss but you have to wait until he's in the middle of a cast to do so. It's the only way to hit him with an lb without him using hallowed ground.
Overall, really cool video- and since you asked at the end of the video i'll say I ended up needing to go to the full 100 totems for Hades and Emerald, almost had to for Ruby but got all the others easier. I would definitely say that people disliked Ruby and Emerald the most for farming (I remember people complaining about how long they were in there which is understandable) just because of the cutscenes, but at least they were nice to prog when they first came out since they had that unique benefit of having a checkpoint. Just wish there was a way to skip the cutscenes on them lol
Landerwaffe is my favorite of the extreme collection mounts. Robot dragons are cool, and I love that it’s a two seater. I'm looking forward to grinding these trials with the Dawntrail level cap.
I had to buy Hades, Titania and Emerald. The most annoying to farm for me was Ruby cause of the Meteor-rock placement mechanic at the end of phase 2. Hades was imo the best to farm since you got a lot to do while smacking the boss which was fun. Emerald was also a lot of fun but that`s mostly cause I`m a huge sucker the sorrows of Wherlyt-story as a whole and the black wolf stalks again (Emerald phase 2) is my favorite song in the entire OST
It's funny the timing of your video because I was just talking about this with my friends. I put a static together to farm all 7 of these fights so we all can get our mecha dragon. Made some really great friendships during this process. We did this closer to the end of Shadowbringers, however, at the time none of us raided current content. We spent the least amount of time in Hades because he was gracious and gave us our Gwibs after the 14th run. Diamond was the hardest because it was the most current at the time and we struggled with dps and limit cut. We also spent so much time in SOS because he was a greedy AF, and the cutscenes were so long. Thanks for this video! It makes me want to go back and help out more friends.
My friends and I decided to farm out some of the ShB gwibs for those who needed them and we started with Innocence. I did his ex on release and it was a pushover, but doing it now was hilarious. We didn't have a full party with only 6 people and we tried to kill each other more than the boss lol. My luck in ShB was god awful so i never got the gwibs and i really need to go back and run the weapons, then prep for Hades/WoL (i had a LOT of bad hades runs when the ex released and i still dread the fight even if its easier now).
I'm stuck farming Hades and Innocence, Hades groups on crystal are a hit and miss because a lot of groups I go in die to the tethers in phase 2 or 3. Then for Innocence I've just been bad with rolls already at 68 totems.

This is the first time I've done ex trials before unsync I got zodiark and got divine lynx yesterday it dropped 4 times in a row. I also finally completed the gwibers on both my mains rpr and smn this past week since endwalker started
Got them all during pre 6.0, iirc 6.0 was a month away when I got diamond and the me ha dragon.
I had to 99 hades and the annoying thing is I rolled on the mount that dropped out of habit cus I wasn't paying attention to my totems and won it.
I did all the grinding back in shawodbringers, and i love every one of these fignts. Ruby was the first EX i ever cleared! Maybe its rose tinted glasses considering the long cutscenes lmao
The reason for ruby and emerald weapon only giving one totem was because there was a checkpoint.
If I recall emerald weapon when it was relevant was shorter then diamond weapon, even with the cut scene. Though emerald weapon was harder in the 2nd phase and was more likely to wipe so was a longer grind typically.

I had to run emerald 120 time while it was current to get the gwib and the sos 99 time still in the shb expansion

Can’t solo them at the moment, I imagine next expansion that WAR and other tanks will be able to solo some of them.

Just finished watching through all your content, except the ultimate videos since I have yet to do them yet myself. Thank you for making analysis content on FF14, which is shockingly rare considering the size of the game. The ranking of alliance raids for example, and the recent videos on Savages/Extremes especially. It feels like FF14 content creators focus on making guides more than actually talking about the content, perhaps because they blast through it in one week due to their experienced guilds. In any case, my personal input is that I would like to see videos similar to your trial rankings, except done for extremes. I was somewhat disappointed that your existing trial videos were just for normal mode, since I don't even perceive those as actual content. If you could get a semi-static together just for trial EXes it would probably just take a month or two to blast them down at most, and that would be quite a bit of content. One bit of advice would be to use off-class accessories in ARR/HW, and lower ilevel weapons for SB, in order to lower DPS and make the trials survive longer (thereby making the content more rich), but that's just something to consider. Anyway, I have subbed and am looking forward to more analysis content / in-depth reviews.
Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks for this comment. I would eventually like to go through and do ALL of the old savages and extreme fights at MINE to fully experience those parts of the game. It probably won't be for a while since I still need to finish up the savage tier and do the other ultis, but afterwards I would love to cover the old savage and extreme fights in similar ranking style videos for each expansion.
I checked some old logs from when I farmed these in shb, emerald and diamond at their longest both took around 11 minutes, but their shortest was something like 8 minutes emerald and 7 minutes diamond.
adding one more thing:
using LB on him doesn't always make him invuln it. he only invulns if it's the 2nd phase and he isn't casting anything when you hit it. it's not 30 seconds either, he has a buff on him that you can see with your eyes that tells you how long it is. I think it's like 6 seconds but it's been a while. the "don't lb him ever" statement is a hilarious myth considering back when this fight was relevant people were using melee LB3 to not die to enrage.

When Diamond Weapon first dropped, it confused us why it gave 2 totems when it wasn't a particularly long fight. But as it was the last trial of the expansion, I didn't mind a shorter grind :P

Yup. Diamond was pretty much mandatory light party per platform back in ShB bc Diamond Rain does damage proportional to the amount of players on each platform.
Wasn’t too bad until someone died so you’d Raise them and hop to the other side to keep a 4-4 balance and then they’d hop after you. >.>
Also yeah Emerald was 100% longer than Diamond.
People always fucked up the triple sword + other mech combo.
Also as to what was most annoying?
I had to 99 Titania on Crystal. Every post about skipping x mechanic with good DPS on-content? A lie. I love Crystal but my god. PF on Crystal sucked.
Primal wasn’t much better but I did manage to get 6/7 mounts before EW and my seventh like two weeks into EW. Diamond and Titania were the only ones I had to 99.
