- One mistake in 11:55, I said "Set Anti-Aliasing to 8x". It should be "Set Anti-Aliasing to SMAA".
Notice that the shadow texture in this video can be customized which means you can generate the texture with the face shadow you want. I will introduce how to do that in future videos!

Hello! Thanks for the tutorial! I have a question, I would like the shadow to appear at a more open angle, I mean, if I turn the directional light to the left 45 degrees I get full shadow but instead of that I would like to have the full shadow at 120 degrees for example.
What should I do to be able to do that?

you could always make your own sdf texture to fit your needs better

Is there any way to expand the angle limit from 90 to 135? I’ve tried configuring this but I don’t know how to change the math without getting inconsistent results or breaking everything, the problem is that the light falls off of the face quicker than the body and looks strange when at the angle limit, thanks for the tutorial btw !

Doesn't this method mean, that you'd need to create a shadow texture for every part of the mesh? Hair, Body, Clothes, Face etc.
