    Gonna try that "reversed top hand" grip out tonight. Looks ridiculous, excited to test it out in a game. And Billy the people definitely love you

    You can extend those tees with a piece of 1” threaded gas pipe and a cupling. Extended mine 18” and it’s a game changer. The added weight from the gas pipe makes it very sturdy.

    Bat testers are kind of a joke actually. The "calibration" disk on them literally say says (+) (-) 25 for 350 compression. That is literally 50 lbs of compression (which is a LOT) varied from what the compression could actually be. So if it says 250 compression it could in reality be 275 or 225 after being "calibrated".

      I would honestly go as far as saying compression testing bats is a money grab for bat companies and usssa. I notice a minimal difference between a 240 bat that passes and a 240 bat that fails. Even with 220 bats, they're hot, but they're not so hot that it is gonna make THAT big of a difference.

    nice yellow batting gloves are those work gloves or regular batting gloves i like using a work glove to hit but a wrist strap would be nice on a work glove

    For me it’s about muscle memory, I know what I need to do but it’s hard to get my body to react when I need it to because I’ve been swinging the bat a certain way for so long

      That's why I say when changing things in your swing you have to prepare for a dip in performance for a bit

    I’ve seen some Amish players switch their top and bottom hands i.e. for a righty your left hand becomes your bottom hand. Not sure if that’s what TE was noticing or not

    Great info in this one guys! I will be working that tee drill at Dbat this week. Btw, what was I looking at toward the end of the video when some kid took off running from behind the screen to center like he had a cape on? 😂

      @hittingwiththenation  3 місяці тому +1

      @@Voge21 do you have a question? Or do you just not think I hit very well? I'm open to advice from people better than me. As we all can still learn.
